Don't waste your time scheduling a ride with these folks. They are extremely unprofessional and they do not care nor will they warn you of delays. I called and scheduled a can for 3:10 pm at 11 something in the am. This is a Sunday. About 3:22 I call and ask where they are. The lady said she will be completeling a trip and she will be to get me they only have one driver. I work at an extremely busy restaurant and was scheduled at 3:30. I told her that wasn't my problem when I pay 16 dollars for a ride and schedule hours in advance I expect to be on time. 25 more mins go by. I try to call and no answer for almost 5 minutes! By this time I had called my brother and he was in town and close enough to where he could take me within 15 minutes. I called the cab company back again and she finally picked up. Said that the cab driver was still on the same trip that she had been on 25 minutes ago! I was extremely upset as I was already very late for work. She then hung up on me saying I was yelling. I called back over and over again and at this point hadn't been issued a refund yet. I had to install text now on my phone and call back from a different number to get her to answer the phone. She then said we're going to refund your money and left me without a ride for all they know and no money to pay for one because refunds aren't instant. I do not recommend this cab company. They are rude on the phone ordered a cab from the freightliner dealership was told 45 minutes almost 2 1/2 hours later. Got picked up just as they were closing at 4 o'clock kept calling for an update and kept making excuses for why they were not there to pick me up. I do not recommend these people to anyone. Last night, my dad had a emergency and had to call 911 from his 18 wheeler. They took him to a hospital 10 miles away in a city we don't know. When he was released there were no Uber or Lyft available. So I had to call him a cab. The driver got there 45 minutes later and was so friendly and compassionate. I appreciate the dispatcher who took the call for the cab- I was rambling and stressed and she handled it with such gentle kindness. The ONLY thing I would change- is they should get more drivers because waiting in the ER wait room after being released is a bit long. All in All- it was still a great experience and they got my dad back to his 18 wheeler. read more

Scheduled pickup a day early, showed up 30 minutes late, van was jacked up with bad headlights, filthy windows, stink, powered doors don't work and motor for doors sound like they about to start an electrical fire with all the sparking and crackling. Didn't have change. Definitely overcharged for late pickup and barely got me to work on time, 2 minutes to spare. Why bother schedule a pickup if they can't be on time? Not like they were called last minute, they were called with over 24 hr notice. These people are rather stupid, my wife and I use them off and on to go from hospital and back home which is actually right by their base station, always paid good money and tips for the easiest ride that you could imagine; when I do drive it takes maybe 1.5-2 minutes and they take 15 bucks for that, let's say 20 in total but fine we make enough to afford that. So this morning while I'm sleeping for a different work shift, wife called cab but the driver demanded money upfront, unfortunately cash was at home so he just left her at the hospital. I gotta say these people are very good at loosing solid customers. Cash upfront ? come on they need to recognize their clientele better, I've never had that sort of experience, management needs to read up on alternative forms of payment in the current world. I recently went on a trip to Ohio visiting a friend and became desperate to get to Columbus from Lima and was genuinely worried about the taxi service arriving on time as the previous reviews gave them a bad rep. this left me concerned and worried until the guy arrived and showed 3 minutes before the set time we had for him to come get me- having planned in advance. I live two miles from Harry's Hideaway. In any other city, a two-mile cab ride at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday would cost $5, tip included. Black and White charged $7.75! With, tip, I ended up paying $5 a mile to ride in a filthy minivan. The driver was friendly to me but kept carrying on a conversation with a woman I assume was her friend in the front seat. Neither was wearing a seat belt. I caught snippets of "she don't do black men" and "that girl got a jealous streak." I also learned about "Internet ho hoppin'" and other classy stuff. I'm not complaining about that part; it's the only reason I added a second star. On the way to my destination, the driver actually STOPPED AT THE BANK so her friend in the passenger seat could take care of some financial business. We sat for about five minutes while the friend made a transaction inside the bank, then were on our way. If you're gonna charge me $7.75 for a two-mile ride, at least take me directly where I'm going. read more

I called for this cab service at 3:00 today to see if I can get a ride to be picked up at 4:15 they told me that there would be a cab there. It is now 5:23 p.m. and I was on hold with them on a call for 55 minutes waiting on hold to be answered in order of call. I then decided to try to call again on another line on my phone and they answered that call right away then got told that the cap had to turn around and make another route. I asked why I didn't get a call about this he told me that the phones been busy. I told him that why did this call get answered before the other call that I've been on hold for 55 minutes he said there's no other calls waiting on hold but then told me that he's got two other people on hold is why he didn't call me back to let me know. They called me back 10 minutes saying the cab was at the front door I told him I no longer needed it he hung up on me answered the line that's been 60 minutes now and ended that call as well very unprofessional a call would have been greatly appreciated so I could have made an alternative arrangement read more

At 11:10 AM on a Friday, I ordered a pickup (11:30 PM) for my daughter who was attending a wedding that evening. (Uber or Lyft is not available in this area) I received request confirmation through a text message and then an online booking confirmation sent to me via email for the ride. I then called to make sure they accepted credit cards for the ride that evening, and asked what I needed to do if I needed the ride sooner. They told me to just call about an hour before if I needed to change it. I called at 9:30 PM and asked to be picked up at 10:30 PM instead of 11:30 PM. They said no problem and updated it. Not only did they not show up at 10:30, they never showed up at all. I called to see what was going on and they told me they were searching for a car in the area, and asked if I wanted to cancel, and I asked them why this wasnt assigned to a driver when i made the reservation? Then I was hung up on. So I grabbed my keys to pick up my daughter and her friends. When I was driving home (12:02 AM) They called and asked me if I still needed a ride, I toled them yes and I was still waiting. I guess Im still waiting because I never received another call. Its terrible that a company can treat people like this, when they know they are one of the only options people have. So when a company like this complains about lost revenue since Uber and Lyft have appeared, they should take a good look at how they treat their customers. I called a cab for my driver and the dispatcher never took our information. I told her where and she said 30-45 min and I said "Ok, he'll be waiting." 1 hour goes by and no cab. We called and they said they never got a call but that they would be putting it in so the wait would now be 45 min to 1 hour. Ridiculous! Thank goodness we finally got Lyft in Lima. It's unfortunate that there aren't enough drivers yet especially late night. I never drink and drive. 20 years ago I did and paid an ungodly amount and of course the fun filled 500 dollar weekend with strangers. So I have used black and white cabs for over 10 years. They are rude, and change the fair nearly everytime for the same trip. It just happened again Sat. Wtf 6.34 plus tax...what??? Your driver does not sit there and figure out the tax rate. It's all bs!
