This is not a review of the art that Linda G creates. This is regarding the customer service I received upon texting them that I was no longer interested in having Linda G work on me. The fellow whose name escapes me, immediately texted me back to say "We do not feel you're a fit and therefore will not move Forward with you." That is exactly what I said in my text just different words. This text was simply to make me feel dismissed, to make me feel that I was being rejected by them because I told them I was no longer interested in Linda G. Trying to hurt me after I shared the most painful, intimate experience of my husband's recent death when they asked why I wanted to be tattooed. They really need to stop acting like a spurned child trying to get back at someone for saying no. To make someone feel singled out and rejected is heinous in any situation! I came here for a small arabic writing piece and it came out perfect, exactly how I wanted. I was greeted by the owners and they were extremely friendly and professional. Linda did my tattoo and she showed me the stencil and made sure it was the size I wanted and made sure everything was perfect. The process barely hurt. She assured me she was light handed and that it wouldn't hurt that bad, considering I was getting this on my side rib cage. The tattoo pigment is very black and the lines are very crisp and clean. She also secured my tattoo with a clear covering similar to saran wrap but it lasts 24-48 hours, free since I was a first timer there. I was also given instructions on how to remove the clear covering and how to take care of a tattoo. Overall, I would recommend this place for first timers. I arrived there at 3:05 and the door was locked but it was expected for the shop to open at 3:00 so I called to make sure they were opening and they said "yes, I will be there shortly." Late to work? My scheduled appointment was for 3:30 so I wanted to get there a little early just to get used to the place. I wanted to use the bathroom before hand and went I went inside I asked if they had a bathroom and joker said "well are you getting a tattoo?" Um yes? I was the one who just called you? Throughout my experience I did not think he was professional at all and when I told him my idea for my tattoo and how it was meaningful to me and my life he said "it just seems like a bad tattoo" hence, all my tattoo was was calligraphy nothing major. When I asked for his opinion, he said "you don't have to listen to me it's your tattoo" but still gave me hints that it was bad? Or that HE himself did not like it? As time goes on he goes, "have you even seen my work?" Like yes? Hence the reason why I'm here.. all throughout my experience and the first impression walking out the door I did not like how he expresses himself especially to a first time tattoo person. He wanted my tattoo to be in a different font of calligraphy but I was set on one specific font and said "it's a simple tattoo, I'm still making money." Who says that? overall, I'm happy with my tattoo, but upset how this was how my first tattoo experience went. read more
