Excellent food and service. It's been a long time since I have been to a restaurant where you can tell that care is taken making each plate. The presentation was awesome, the chef delivered our food to us, our server gave us recommendations and checked back to make sure everything was good. Family owned and operated says it all. The married Chefs take delicate care of the ingredients which shows in presentation and flavors on every dish. I had the chicken Picatta and my wife had the chicken Marsala. Both amazing followed by the homemade Tiramisu. Most times I go out to eat all I can say is I'm not full. This place is a cute little small town restaurant, thought we would give it a try because the reviews of this place are great. Our experience not too much. First we get there before the rush it was really nice the one thing that kinda off put me was I was told from someone in the restaurant business if you smell fish walk away & there was a smell but still tried to be very hopeful. Our server was Yucel, which was very nice but the biggest problem was he hardly checked on us but he checked on the table next to us a lot. When we tried to catch him he was out of there, the other table to the other side of us had a different server she mentioned the special. He forgot to even put a lime with a Corona. We got the calamari it was good liked the breading was a little too fishy which you know it's not fresh from that but was cooked to perfection. My husband had the top sirloin & I had the chicken piccata. The steak was okay kinda tough & so was the chicken piccata that everyone raved about in the reviews. My husband finished his drink right as we got out entree but didn't get a chance to ask for another drink or was it even offered All I wanted so bad was to try the desserts but sadly because the vibe & basically just being ignored we just wanted to leave kinda sucked because we really wanted to love this place. read more

Very happy with this place. Very cute atmosphere, love how I could hear my conversation with my husband. My husband likes my chicken parm so the bar is set high, he thought it was a tad dry but the taste was good, he said next time he will do a steak, I tried to tell him to get a steak. Stopped here last night for the first time. The place was clean and felt cozy. We had the calamari appetizer which was delicious along with bread. Drinks were constantly filled and service was great. We ordered the sirloin steak which was very tender and well seasoned along with the chicken florentine which was amazing! Took tiramisu and cheesecake to go, which was also very delicious. Black Diamond Grill is a quaint local getaway with absolutely fresh, simple and delicious food. Since we moved here, we had been searching for "THAT" place - that Go To for a meal packed with passion and love in an small and cozy environment, but enough to make you really feel like you're the only one who matters. By and far, this is THE BEST calamari I have ever had. The steaks are flavored and cooked to perfection, and meatballs are homemade with love. We cannot get enough! It's a little pricey, but totally worth the quality of food and flavor you receive. Definitely worthy of that once-or-twice a month splurge. Definitely recommend! read more

Was so disappointed with this place! Had such high hopes when I found out there was an Italian restaurant nearby. Pictures looked cute and the menu looked promising. We were promptly seated ... and that was the last positive moment. Server forgot our wine (mentioned 2x more times before receiving), food was nearly 1 hour in arriving (54 mins, to be exact), and the place was not busy. Two other tables seated and were already eating. We were a party of 5. Two meals were kids meals. I had the chicken parm, others both had fettuccini alfredo. WAY TOO MUCH SALT IN EVERY MEAL! Trying to pay wasn't any easier. So, so disappointed. Won't return. read more

We got there as they opened, first the free bread was brought to our table with a ant on the plate!!! We ordered cheese burgers and did not get asked how we wanted them.. ( well done, pink, no pink , anything ) sat there for just over 50 min and never got our food. Had to call staff over to cancel our order. So all we got served was bread with a bug on the plate, water, ice tea, and a beer. In the hour we where there waiting for food we only got checked on 1 time for refilled on our drinks. Biggest thing was a bug coming from the kitchen to the table served and a hour with no food on what was to be my son's birthday dinner. read more

Great restaurant considering it just opened. This used to be the "Black Diamond Pizza & Deli". It has been remodeled and has a new owner and chef. For dinner we had the pizza to start. It was very good. Everything is made in house. They make their own pizza dough, and they bake their own excellent bread served with olive oil. We also had the calamari which was panko breaded served with house made marinara. For desert we had the NY Cheese cake which was also very good. They serve a variety of beverages including wine, beer and soft drinks. They have two beers on draft. In the future we will sample their other entrees etc. They also have a kids menu. I will update this review as time permits. All in all, it was a good beginning for this restaurant. read more

This restaurant is a gem! I appreciate tasty well seasoned food and this place delivers. Nice selection of large appetizers... the calamari is the best I've ever had! The Chicken Florentine was excellent- my husband had the pizza which was also so flavorful. It's located in a renovated historic building and has small number of tables and booths which makes it intimate and fun. We just returned for a memorable Christmas celebration dinner.... worth the drive out to Black Diamond! My hats off to the chef! read more
