Yesterday was my wife's birthday and the girls decided to take her to an Italian Restaurant in Enumclaw, Washington for lunch. Not wanting her to have a repeat, I asked her to think about a restaurant choice for dinner. Well guess what? She was so impressed with the restaurant, its vibe, and great food and service... Oh, I'll have dreams about the red sauce. So delicious. I had the fettuccine with seafood. Loved it, though not a lot of seafood. My other had the chicken with lemon. He liked his the least in our group. Thought the chicken was too tough to be cut with the butter knife provided, and it was too drenched in sauce. Others had the chicken pesto pasta and the veal Masala. They both enjoyed. They also ordered the calamari appetizer and it was ok. A small portion fir the price and while the calamari itself was tender, the breading was heavy. The warm bread brought to the table on seating with flavored olive oil was a delight. Excellent spot for carb loading the night before a race! Apparently this is one of the best and most authentic Italian restaurants in town that locals love, so there was definitely a wait to get seated. We were lucky to arrive just before the crowd. All the servers and staff were super friendly and checked in with us and tried to interact with our toddlers. We got two pizzas and a salad for our table, which was plenty of food. Pizzas are wood fired, so there's definitely the characteristic uneven charredness that was too bitter for the kids but nice smokey flavor for the adults. We had a wonderful birthday dinner here last week for 8 of us. We did have to wait an hour for a table because we didn't make a reservation and we were kind of a large group. No problem, I get it and we decided to wait. We had a really excellent time!! The food was so great! And the service was impeccable. Our server was friendly and helpful. She never seemed put out by our requests and I know she was busy because the place was packed. We ordered margaritas, ciabatta, lasagna, wings, calamari pizza and chicken Parmesan. We gobbled it all up! Everyone loved their meal. Big portions and full bellies. I tried the wings and they are 10/10. So big, plump, juicy and cooked to perfection. My entree was the chicken Parmesan and Ceasar salad. The salad was perfect! Amount of dressing was excellent with a rich Caesar flavor. 10/10. The chicken Parmesan was a ginormous piece of chicken on a bed of marinara linguine. The chicken was thick but cooked well and it was juicy. Topped with red sauce and cheese. It was a happy bite every time! You just want to savor it. My entree was so big that I got to take most of it home. I got 2 more meals out of it! And it tasted delicious at home as well!! We arrived as a group of 6 and there was a 30 min wait which we fully expected for a Friday night. Not a problem. We were excited to finally try this place as we heard good things! I loved the ambiance as well as the host (owner?) and server. Great customer service and the place felt authentic. The Bruschetta was probably the best I've ever had. I haven't tasted fresh tomatoes like that in a long, long time. The kind of tomatoes that taste like they were made in their own garden next door. The type of tomatoes that don't even taste tomatoey, y'know? You tasted the olive oil and the seasoning and it was delicious. I should have just ordered 3 plates of that and called it a night. I ended up having the plate with the angel hair pasta. I can't remember the name? And it was... not great. Not much flavor going on but I think I just ordered wrong. My wife had the lobster ravioli and I gave it a try. Very tasty! But also overwhelming for every bite to taste so rich. My mother tried it as well and mentioned it tasted "fishy". My son got the spaghetti of course and he liked it. I stole one of his meat balls to eat with my meal and it made it a bit better. All in all, I enjoyed the experience. I was disappointed with my meal and wasn't satisfied but everyone else seemed to like their food. We just weren't blown away really. I'd like to come back again someday with just my wife next time and try the lasagna and some drinks. I bet this would turn into more of a 4 or 5 star experience. read more

I've eaten here twice and this last time will be my last. Forewarning, I'm 100% Italian and am very critical of Italian restaurants, but this is Enumclaw so I try to understand the challenges of obtaining certain quality products. First time we ate here my hubby and I both had veal dishes. Meat on both was grisly, not best quality. Second tine, thought I'd focus on pasta dishes. Canneloni.were so-so but in a runny tomato sauce made with Roma tomatoes which explained extra liquid. Hubby had a Penne Veneto in a bland, runny white sauce. I honestly should have run when I saw pancetta and cream in their description of Carbonara. Should use guanciale and no cream! Not authentic at all. The 4 slices of bread served is cut very thin which doesn't help its very dry, blah taste. Wines start at $50 and up. Service is friendly. But no reservations accepted. Sorry, I really tried to like you but the food is not authentic or good quality. Won't waste gas or time driving here. read more

We love the figs, olives, pickled onions, peppers and the cheeses. The cured meats are my favorite. They don't take reservations anymore and the locals love this place so plan ahead. They were very busy and they don't seem to take reservations so if you're insistent on dining here, you may have a wait depending on the time of night. I went with my sister and she usually comes here often with her husband. The place is owned by a family and the waitress recognized her as a regular customer. My sister ordered Gnocchi and I ordered Pesto Penne Pasta. Her Gnocchi was delicious and I did not like my Pesto Penne Pasta. My pasta was very dry and the mushroom were not cooked well. One of my favorite things about this place is that they serve legit lattes that come out piping hot, which is a huge plus for me! The service was good, though there's room for a bit of improvement. The venue itself was clean and well-kept, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. One thing I wish they had was some background tunes to enhance the mood it would have made the experience even better. What I love most about this place, though, is the location. There is so much to do around Enumclaw, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal and then explore the area. We had the: gnocchi formaggio. 10/10 Caesar salad 3/10 the croutons that were on the salad tasted like they'd been made last weekend. They were stale and terrible. This is our second visit to this lovely Italian restaurant. We got there at 5pm Saturday evening and it was already packed. We had to wait an hour for a table for seven but it was worth it. The wine pours by the glass were generous and reasonable ($12). The first time I had spaghetti and meatballs (made in house) and my wife had "the best lasagna I've ever had ! " This time I ordered chicken parmesan and my wife ordered the shrimp risotto which I felt was a better choice than my chicken, which was good but not as good as the risotto. The service was excellent, even with a packed house. I was amazed at how many restaurants, bars and breweries abounded the downtown area. It's a long drive for us, we live in Sammamish, but my son and his wife just bought a home in Enumclaw so it's a good reason to visit. read more

On top of great food, the service was polite and kind, waitress and servers were accommodating for children in our group despite a full restaurant. Kudos to the entire team for maintaining a great place with good service and a nice ambience. Favorites on the food include Bruschetta, the puttanesca pasta, the pesto pasta with cherry tomatoes and the Pomodoro pasta pockets. Hubs and I were eager to check out Enumclaw, as we plan a move to the area. Decided to try this place due to the positive Yelp reviews, and they proved very accurate. We weren't starved, so we basically just ordered three appetizers (bruschetta, caprese salad, and an amazing fried chicken appetizer) and then dessert (a limoncello mascarpone cake, which trust me...skip the tiramisu which you can get at any other Italian place and get this lemon cake instead!). We gave this Italian restaurant in Enumclaw a try fr the first time. Service was quick, and the food came out fresh and hot. The bacon wrapped shrimps were great. The pizza was a bit soft and could have been cooked longer to crisp it up. We also ordered chicken, spaghetti and meatballs, and osso bucco. All were good. My husband did not like the pinot grigio. It tasted bland and watered down, so the waitress offered to change it out for a different wine. The prices here are a bit high, but it seems like everything is right now.
