The bathtub alone makes the entire trip worth it. The style here will truly take you back to the 1910s. So classy! Don't even get me started on the food. The food was incredible and clearly homemade. Everything here is made from scratch. This place is so charming!! We had to show up way later than the allowed check-in and were kindly accommodated! It is so peaceful here! We were even given a bottle of champagne to celebrate our wedding night. The ONLY downside is that the rooms are not very soundproof. The mind wanders... But, it is an old home, so this is not at all a downfall that would hinder my return. A trip to the Corinthian is money and time well spent.

Soft music coming from hidden speakers fill your ears as you walk through the entrance. You are greeted with a staircase immediately and a hallway that leads to the kitchen. The homey-feel is at its best here and it's very comforting. It doesn't feel like a hotel. The room that we had was the Presidential Suite. It included a really big bathtub, which I was HUGE fan of. The bathroom was really really nice and classy. The bed was very comfortable. In the morning, we had breakfast and it was REALLY good!! The bread was fresh and the poundcake was delicious. The lady that made the breakfast was also really nice!! Overall, this place made the greatest impression on me and my wife.

The room I was in was pretty small but it has a full operating kitchen, stove, dishes, cookware and silverware - like a mini studio. The room has a newness appearance but you can easily tell that it has some age on it behind the new paint, tiles and sink they added as part of the renovation. AC/Heater works super well and I'm impressed how fast the room warm up for me. The gym is small but has all the workout equipments you really need and several sets of treadmills, stair masters, and cycling bikes. The pool area attempts to bring relaxing atmosphere but the pool itself is very small. I am extremely impressed with breakfast offerings and it's complimentary! I was surprised they lay out a nice spread including roasted root veggies, chicken sausage, eggs and all sorts of bread/bagels/english muffins. They also have a chef station where the chef makes your pancakes to order. They have all the elevated fixings like fresh berries and various nuts. There's also a yogurt bar that has all the fresh fruits and other nut toppings you can add to your yogurt. Parking is just right outside and is in a pretty safe looking parking lot. I was told there's a $21 for overnight parking so beware. I was on business travel which includes parking but if you book directly, just make sure you clarify and be ready to pay extra for parking.

Not a great area or property! Gentlemen at check in was very nice and I was able to get in my room early which was a plus! Bright modern lobby but upon our return to head out to dinner, the police were there for something or other ! Got a nearby gun shot alert in the early AM! Is what it - guess can happen anywhere. The hallways had old carpet with a funk that was definitely in need of a refresh and that smell continued into my room! I got the impression it was years of grime build up in the carpet as the room itself was clean but the smell lingered! It was pretty intolerable at night !! So bad! here was no toilet paper, few towels and the walls particularly in the bathroom were worn and patched up. The room was however dark and quiet until I turned on the AC.and they do have a breakfast though we chose the Starbucks next door which was convenient ! It is badly in need of a refurbishment !

Very unwelcoming and unfriendly interactions from all hotel workers except the valet person who was upbeat and nice. The rest of the staff is robot like with no personality or care in the world. The booking website promotes this gorgeous rooftop view of downtown Dallas's skyline and I was excited for that. The rooftop was closed both days of my stay. No notice or anything. This was my main draw to selecting this property. The air conditioner is only "allowed to" go down to 68 degrees. Sick of this save the planet aka save their money cooling restrictions. Is it really worth saving 50 cents a night to not allow your guests to sleep cool? The thick bedding / sheets are not breathable and I had a hard time sleeping. Only after I asked to check out early did they miraculously "get approval" to remotely reduce the room temperature by 2 degrees. What a joke. $350/night for a Holiday Inn level staffing and guest experience. The only good thing about this place is the location. Other than that I'll save my money and stay somewhere else where I'm valued.

I could not sleep comfortably. Also the shower hardly had any pressure. I was able to get an engineer up and the impression I got was they are well aware of it and echo the frustration of guests but their heads are tied to management's "green" aka cheap policies. It's a shame when a room is over $400/night plus $45/night valet and they play this game. I left after 1 night. I cannot consciously support hotels that nickel and dime at the expense of their customer's comfort. Additionally the M Lounge had hardly anything to snack on. No happy hour or food appetizers like every other M Lounge offers. And for breakfast it was fake / overcooked powdered looking eggs. Are you kidding me?! Use real eggs!!! Again, very nice staff and good location but between getting allergy free pillows and then flat pillows and then foam pillows and finally after a 4th try the correct feather pillows, and needing to request a shower head dirty filter be cleaned / fixed to provide adequate pressure and request the HVAC be put in maintenance mode, it is just not worth the stress. I choose premium Marriott hotels because I expect a consistent and comfortable experience but that was not the case here unfortunately due to the saving money games.

My co-worker had a corner room that was absolutely beautiful. From the corner you could see the Rolex Building in downtown Dallas. Now let me say this about the cleaning. They cleaned my room better than any hotel I have stayed at across the country. That was the cleanest my room has ever been. It smelled clean, it felt right, and I gave everybody extra tips. They do have a mini bar, but I had them remove it so I could bring my own things from CVS, which is very close by. The hotel has excellent dining. Stillwell, the steakhouse, landed in my top 10. Pomelo, the rooftop restaurant, was very good. The food and dining experience is almost like being on a great cruise ship. I will definitely be back with my wife. Five stars.

We called to see if they had a crib since we had our young daughter and they assured us they did. On arrival they said they didn't have one and they only had 3 for both hotels in the building. The hotel was run down. Stains on the carpets and on the chair in the room as seen in photos. Room was big but set up kinda awkward. Its time for "Story-time with Adam Cole Baby" (don't sue me TK, I'm working class and can't afford the lawyers) The TLDR: This is a serviceable hotel with great front desk and that's about it. I wouldn't feel comfortable with any single female friends/family to stay there by themselves. The very first interaction I had in Dallas, the VERY FIRST was a *ahem* "lady of the night as I was getting out of my Lyft and approaching the front doors of the hotel. She walked directly in my path, looked me in the eye, and with no warning said: "For $50 you can do whatever you want to my asshole" Do you know how hard it is to make me speechless? I muttered and stuttered my way past the woman to check in. Homeless people and working girl are a REAL problem here. In my eight days there every time I left the hotel I ran into one group or the other, some times both. I check in, go to my room, do a quick inspection and in the shower I find.....black mold!!!! An easy enough fix I think, I go downstairs report it to the front desk, go off to the market for supplies, and come back. The front desk guy tells me that he's made a concoction of sorts that gets rid of mold and he's left it in my room for me to apply it in the shower. A VERY WTF moment!! Bro I don't work here, and don't know enough about this chemistry experiment you've cooked up. I go back downstairs and they finally give me a new room. I'm not much of a complainer and I have a clean new room so let's just sleep and see what the next day bring. I wake up and decide to hit the breakfast. I grab some undercooked bacon and potatoes, as I'm grabbing juice I notice the employees were closing everything down (five minutes early but I get it) the really weird/annoying thing was that they were turning the lights off on all the people still eating. It felt like last call at a seedy dive bar. Like I said, I understand wanting to go home but turning the lights out on your guests was a complete and utter FAIL. My last notch in the complain column is that the building itself could really use some attention. When it was raining the ceiling by the front door was flooding like a TLC song. The elevators never seemed clean either. So if I'm going all Final Justice on my review why did I give it a three star and not a one? All the positives come from the front desk agents. Jasmine was the best agent I've had the pleasure to deal with in almost a decade. She was warm, welcoming, and quick as a whip. Every day that I came downstairs she had a different suggestion on where I should go and what I should eat. Honestly if I was building a management team from the ground up, I would poach Jasmine in a heartbeat. So yes on the strength of one employee a hotel gained two stars. Otherwise I can't really recommend stay here until they make some major changes
