A mom and pop pizza shop , pretty good ! Tried a slice of the stuffed pizza , which had too much meat to my taste , but the dough was tasty. Also tried the calzone with a topping of anchovies which was quite tasty . Also comes with yummy marinara sauce which was great for dipping . There's a reason this place has been around for 20+ years, some of the best pizza out. Nothing fancy, gourmet or extravagant but straight up good ol' New York style pizza. Crispy crust, with a crunch to every bite with the toppings perfectly cooked. The pepperoni pinwheels are a must. My friends had pizza, pasta, salad, & cannolis, everyone enjoyed their food... as usual. :) The place is clean, spacious, with a welcoming staff. It was fairly slow for dine in on a weeknight but there were alot of people getting to-go orders. Murals on the wall are a nice touch. Prices are good, in my opinion probably better than most places with quality food. For a slice of cheese pizza & three pepperoni pinwheels my total came out to a little under $8. The BEST pizza I've had in a long time! I came here last weekend with my boyfriend. We each ordered two slices of pizza. He got pepperoni, I got one slice of jalapeño pepperoni and one that was just sausage. We also ordered a slice of Oreo cheesecake and black forest cheesecake. Also freaking amazing. Service was great, and the staff was awesome. You could tell that this is legit Brooklyn style pizza. Almost felt like we were in a café in the northeast. My boyfriend has this "pizza test", where he folds a slice and if it doesn't fall apart you know it's legit. So this place passes all across-the-board, and we will definitely be back! The ingredients tasted so fresh, the restaurant is clean and just an all-around chill, great vibe. Would for sure recommend this for a relaxed date. My son got supreme pizza: crispy crust, tons of toppings, and huge slices. I got chicken piccata. Chicken was juicy, sauce had a great consistency, excellent flavor, and generous capers. Hubs got spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs. Meatballs disappeared, soft and juicy with good flavor. I can't stand lack luster seasoning or overly powerful seasoning, but they got it just right. Being from Washington Heights in NYC, I always want to get as close to New York style pizza is I can get. Brooklyn's Best is the one!! Great thin style New York crust pizza. The sauce to cheese ratio is fantastic. Also other items such as pasta dishes and sandwiches make it a good place to get some great food. I recommend this place very highly. Well, the reviews are correct. The food is good and fresh. Nice portions and reasonable price. We ordered too much. Didn't touch the calzone. No complaints on the food. It is located in a small strip center but don't let the appearance fool you. I would have given them 5 stars but my order was slightly messed up. I wanted only half the pizza with sausage but it was over the entire pizza. Still the taste and quality was good. My girlfriend doesn't eat sausage and she had a difficult time removing it. With all that being said I highly recommend them and will go back. Next time I just have to order her something different. read more
