I was on my way to my Cousin's house in North Arlington. I glanced over at the Shopping Srip Mall and I saw a Nizza Pizza! I was like, I've got to try it! This location is a lot more busier than the West Side location. It's a small Pizza Shop and most of the tables will filled! We were taking care of right away and with a sense of urgency too. There were lots of to go orders being picked up and more families coming in. It was also Memorial Day weekend. I decided to get the Chicken Alfredo because, of it's healthy proportions. However, the size seemed a little smaller than the West side location. I like this location's Fettuccine Alfredo better because it was creamier. The Chicken was a little too charred though, oh well. We were given a basket of fresh baked Bread. I love their butter too. It spreads evenly and melts easily. We were asked a few times how things were. Server, also explained to me how the fountain machine worked. I guess, he has a lot of customers asking for a water cup and getting Lemonade. Smh. I spoke with one of the Employees there and he said, his cousin was the former owner of the Westside location. He also said, somehow he's related to the new Owner, Kevin. It was a great experience! We were taken care of. Prices have gone up but so does, everything but, my salary. Lol. Food was delicious. We found this pizza place a few years ago and it's turned into a must stop for us whenever we're in town for Astros games. We drive in from Houston, and honestly the trip doesn't feel complete without coming here after the game. The pizza is always fresh, packed with flavor, and really satisfying every time. I love the New York feel of the place, from the decor to the atmosphere it genuinely feels like stepping into New York for a moment. We got a regular supreme and a deep dish cheese. Both were really good, in their own rights. The supreme had a good amount of toppings, and the cheese had a good amount of seasoning on top. Pretty much a North Arlington staple where the staff sees a lot of regulars come in. The prices are reasonable here and there is a variety of food on the menu. We grabbed the Philly cheesesteak, wings and mozzarella sticks - all came out hot! Nothing was too greasy. We have been ordering from Beks Pizza since we moved to Arlington (About a Year ago), and we have always been very pleased. This is the only restaurant we order from, and have it delivered. We placed an order today Saturday (6/6/26), The order was about 10 or 15 minutes late. I asked my husband to check outside, because we live in a hotel. The delivery person sat the delivery at the door which is outside. The bags and the pizza box had flies all over it, we had to throw food away, because the food had been torn into, what was odd was the bags were not torn. I called Beks pizza once and spoke to a young man that told me, that they don't have their own delivery staff anymore, they use Slice, he was very nice and said he would look into it. He also told me to call Slice to tell them what happened and make a complaint, and that he would do the same. When I talked to Beks, I did not ask for a refund or a free replacement. About 10 - 15 minutes I called Beks Pizza again to talk about the situation with the delivery driver and get the number to Slice. The person I spoke to, handed the phone to the manager. He was very rude. I hadn't said anything about a refund or replacing the food. he spoke very aggressive, and said, what do you think that I'm going to give you free food. He also said this was not his responsibility that Slice was responsible, and I needed to call them, he said he has nothing to do with it. I said you chose them, and it reflects on your restaurant. I made my mind up right then that I would not order from them again. I hadn't said anything about a refund or free food. He was very, very rude. We have spent a lot of money at that restaurant over this past year. He acted like that didn't even matter. He just threw this situation to the four winds. People need to be accountable, he wasn't. read more
