I wish they didn't close ... their service just isn't the same anymore... I bought a moped from there (a copy of a bms federal 50) for 1,700$ which is called a jiajue mio . The bms federal 50 is much higher quality and comes with an alarm system made just for that model For about 1500$ . I was charged about 100$ for an mmg helmet that lasted a year . A few weeks ago a friend from cycle gear knew I needed a new helmet so he bought me a sedici sistema II . They were on sale for 100$ original price is around 500$ aramid Kevlar built in sun glasses very very very nice helmet . If I would had known all of this boooy I wouldve been a happy camper . I love my jiajue mio to death it has sentimental value it reaches 40mph for some reason I don't know why. I put in a brand new variator kit just to replace the old worn one and it cut my speed in half and made my engine bog I don't know why but I used the old parts and the speed went right back up. I'm still shopping around for parts . My regulator rectifier is faulty after 2 years headlights have blown and weird things . I know how to work on these mopeds but I had to invest in some tools and tools aren't cheap . Their bore kits were 300$ then they went down to 150$ but when I asked how much it would cost if I bought the bore kit I wanted and had them install it it was going to be over 300$ . Sherman is super cool and super knowledgeable about all things scooter. I bought a 150cc Chinese Ruckus, and got a great deal.

My mom had been going to this shop for years to service her 3-wheel trike. Just a little old one-armed lady who needed wheels. When her trike was stolen, they worked out a decent deal to get her a used one. Then, she immediately went to hospice without getting to even turn the key. The owner offered to "return" it, for 70% of what she paid. That's just plain dirty dealing. What an awful person. He even tried to justify his deal, saying "hey, I gotta make money on the deal." Rodney was her service tech who did a good job for her. He gets 5 stars. Owner gets -3. read more

This was the smoothest buying process I've ever had. I called ahead about finance options and they pointed me in the right direction. Got approved showed up to the store and they helped inform us on how to use the mopeds. I can't help but stress how much I enjoyed the customer service here. If I can give more stars I would! Everyone there was so nice and helpful and the buying process of our first bike was so fast and easy. Not only that when we realized that we only had enough for the bike and not yet the helmet they so kindly allowed us to take a helmet and pay them back when we were able to do so. Absolutely horrible. Do not take you stuff to them. Took a 12 1/2 inch rim to have the tire and tube put on. They claim that they were unable to fix however in the process of attempting to put old tire and rim back on they bent the holy crap out of the rim. if I could rate 0 I would. Do not use this place. I think these guys are great. Super friendly and personable. The guy Sherman when I came in instantly knew what I'd want. Pointed it out and it was perfect. I've never ridden a moped before so I didn't operate it or know how to turn it on. I thought there was something wrong. Brought it back the next day and just gave me pointers and was just as friendly first time I was there. Sometimes your results gets you as far as how you approach and talk to people. These guys are great, if you don't walk around with a stick up your ass. Very straight forward, told him what my needs were and how much I wanted to spend and he got me a brand new moped for $885 including a helmet (required by law) and a chain lock. They do in-house financing and it's not a hard inquiry on your credit. We joked and talked, sure they're both rough around the edges but you have to appreciate people who are true to themselves no matter who is in the room. Won't go on a tangent but bottom line is it was a quick and easy deal, these guys are knowledgeable and efficient, told me when to change the oil and even said "you can learn to do it yourself" rather than force me to come back to them. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. BONUS: he's got cool vintage collectible items in the office. read more

Though one of the two guys there was able to help me answer 85% of my questions, they had the personality of a wet bag of pretzels. It felt as if I was invading their time when I walked into their shop an hour and a half before closing, but they were straightforward in their responses, to say the least. I may continue to look around at maybe just one more moped store and if I can't find a better deal I'll be back to make my purchase here. I bought a new scooter from Blackjack Scooters on Nov. 9, 2020. The following Sunday, it stopped running and would not start. I had to leave the scooter where it broke down, because Blackjack is closed on weekends. I called them the following Monday. They referred me to their towing guy, Jim, who does the towing. He towed the scooter to Blackjack, and since nobody could contact the owner, Sherman, I had to pay the $50 towing charge, figuring I would be reimbursed. When I called later that day for an update, the mechanic told me the "Kill switch" had been turned to the "Off" position. So, I thought maybe I had hit it by accident. On the way home from the shop, it broke down again, so, called the shop, the towing guy, Jim, happened to be at the shop, so they sent him out to tow my scooter - this time, the owner, Sherman, paid for the towing. The owner, Sherman called me today to tell me the scooter had been repaired, that the spark plug wire had fallen off, then when I got to the shop, he told me the coil wire had fallen off (this contradiction not relevant to my complaint, but mentioning my observation). When I first arrived at the shop to get my scooter, it was closed and nobody was there, so I called Sherman. While I was on the phone, the mechanics showed up and gave me my scooter. I asked Sherman while I had him on the phone, "Since the first breakdown wasn't my doing, will I be reimbursed for the towing fee"? He said, "NOOOO!", and proceeded to give me a bunch of cockamamie reasons why it was my fault. The "Kill switch" would have been the only thing could have been my doing, but that was not what happened. For one thing, when it first broke down, I cranked on the starter for a good five minutes. When the kill switch is off, the starter will not engage, SO, it was not my doing. This means two things, first, the mechanic lied, because the kill switch had not been moved to the off position, and second, I had nothing to do with the scooter breaking down. For the record, I am an experienced motorcycle rider and would not hit the kill switch, and I also know the rider could not do any other thing to cause the engine to suddenly quit running, other than hit the kill switch, or turn off the key. It's not the $50, it's the principle. read more

Sold an DEATH TRAP. DO NOT BUY! The literally disrespect they had for my and my sister safety and well-being says enough. Within 24hrs after purchasing my scooter stop working WHILE DRIVING, stopped working at an green light and wouldn't start following morning. My sisters moped was wobbly while operating. We got an full-refund and the owner charged us an $100 "return fee" and then tried to make us pay for an item he gave us for FREE. He was unhelpful, dismissive and down right rude. Do not, do not, do not purchase from these people. Truuuuust me, look at the other complaints you're reading. I purchased a 'brand new' Zoomer from this place on 5/20. Since then it's stopped twice and when I called to ask what could be done. I was told to use their 'guy' who'd come pick it up for $25 plus a charge per mile. Saul or however you spell his name obviously hasn't worked in sales or if he has couldn't have made it to the top rung of the ladder; because the way he handled the second phone call I made just minutes ago(7-8-16) was met with the same level of inconsideration and unprofessionalism. I'm telling you, folks. Go to one of the other reputable, integrity having dealers that are around Vegas. Do not make the mistake and impulsively choose a dealer without being sure of who you're dealing with. I'll also add my Zoomer has less than 300 km on it and still has the plastic stickers around the key entry holes and reflectors. I hardly drove the thing. This joint isn't one I'd recommend at all, and the beautiful part about it, is I've decided to take legal action that doesn't bother me one bit to do and drag out. Fair is fair. You sell something that's shit and refuse to work with your 'paying' customers within reason. Then you deserve all vitriol that comes as a result. Shame that it has to come to consumers writing about the lack luster experience instead of singing the praises of how well were treated when dealing with Blackjack mopeds. I won't stop here in saving people the plight in dealing with those guys. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

These dudes are great! I bought a 1988 Honda elite from them. Sherman is very reasonable, honest, and as sincere as they come. He kept his word with working with me until I could come back the following wk to pay the rest. They are knowledgeable and do great repairs/upgrades and custom work too. The shop is clean and they have a lot of nice products. They don't sell anything that's crap. Even their used mopeds are pretty perfect. Thanks again guys. As for myself I have been going in and out of there for years but have only recently stopped in to give them a good look. I had recently bought a Tao Tao Chinese scooter online and it had a few problems. At one point it accidentally fell over ruining the brake cable. So I brought it over to them, to have a look at it. They fixed it for me for 50 bucks. It was one of the best things that has ever happened to me in quite awhile. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. How about a 150cc scooter from I'm in the coil burned down in a block. It took over an hour for somebody to told me back to the shop. And about a half hour after that for them to get it working again. Before I can get to the DMV and register it, the exhaust fell off where it's attached at the engine and it melted the undercarriage. Which caused damage to who knows what else and they began leaking gas, awesome! I was told somebody died within a block of purchasing a vehicle from them just the week before I got mine, that should have been the sign. read more

Great place. The guys in the shop are super helpful and work is timely. I had an issue with my scooter not starting so I called them up and they came and got it for $50. Turns out since I didn't use it for a few months it needed some help firing up. So nothing was technically wrong with it and they charged me $0!!! Which I thought was pretty cool!! My husband and I were in the market for a vehicle that was great on gas and affordable. Everything we found was an outrageous price or shady . We finally settled on Blackjacks and hands down it was the easiest and fastest vehicle we've ever purchased. It took two days only because I'm a sleep on it kind of person. We purchased my Znen Q 50 within 20 minutes of returning on day 2. The two guys we dealt with were really nice and the older gentleman was super cool. We were given a limited warranty but honestly she only had 2miles on her. They made sure I could ride, and explained this particular model. I definitely recommend ! They also do maintenance and our new ride was delivered to our door because it was too far for me to comfortably ride alone. ($50 anywhere in the city tow).
