    Peach tea with honey boba

I have passed by this boba shop a few times and it's always extremely busy. Today we went in and order the peach juice tea with honey boba and the beast rider which has strawberry, green tea and red bull and mini boba. I was worried the boba was not going to be soft because this place is rushing out order but I was pleasantly surprised my peach tea was sweet and delicious with the soft boba. My boyfriend loves his beast rider tea because of the caffeine and the flavor. The place is pretty spacious and has a ton of seating and the staff is really friendly. Overall really enjoyed this place and will defintely drop in again. One probably is the prices are defintely wrong on the menu they do have a small note at the register that says that but I feel like they should defintely have the menu fixed.

    Strawberry milk Boba

I usually get strawberry milk boba from this place and they have never let me down once, if you don't like the texture of boba pearls you don't have to have them in and it's not a fee to have them in, the service is amazing They will explain everything to you. The only reason why I won't give it till five star review is that a little overpriced five dollars for a small cup other than that, everything was amazing. They sell a lot more things than just Boba they sell like macaroon dumplings, pastries, smoothies, coffee, and a whole bunch of other things. 100% worth trying. I will be back to try more things. 4/5 stars

The Bbq pork bun was disgusting made with low quality fillings. Filled with fat & pork gristle. I showed the girl behind the counter & asked her if they make it in house & if it was fresh? She said yeah we just steamed it. Pretty sad, I would not recommend you eat their food. The 2 star is for the bubble tea which was ok.

When this place first came out it was just an OK but now? Amazing. They have the iconic brown sugar boba flavor to their menu but added a nice twist with cream foam. It's sooo delicious and a very iconic drink in the boba world. Black Pearl boba offers a great variety of toppings (50 cents each) including pudding which everyone should try. They also have a great selection of snacks including the famous Korean Corndogs. I've never found another place that offers this besides here, jaw dropper when I saw it! Employees are super efficient and fast and they keep this place really clean! Now I'll be extra happy going to the wellington mall.

Very busy little spot. I really enjoy the steamed buns and dumplings. My only real complaint is that they rarely prep enough steamed buns for the day. So many times I've come in the early afternoon and there are no buns left. They should have plenty on hand, especially considering they are a popular item. Today I got steamed dumplings and they were very tasty. The young ladies working here are very friendly and offer a warm smile and cheery greeting. If you're wandering around the mall and get hungry, this is definitely a place to grab a light snack.

    Warm Thai tea

My girlfriend had a thai tea with boba and it did not go well. It wasn't iced, it was warm for an iced Thai tea. Staff was nice, but feels like it's not the same black pearl from before. They stop doing smoothies at 7. Store was clean.

    Classic tea

After a 4 hour brunch on Sunday, my friends and I decided to get some boba tea. Many tea or coffee places close early on Sundays so this place is better than most in hours. They have a good sitting down area within the store. This place is inside the mall but has good amount of space. Those were some the positives. The negatives: The employee at the cash register was pretty confused when I asked which teas had caffeine in them. She first said none of them then another employee overheard her and corrected her statement. I ordered 24oz of the classic milk tea, it tasted below average. It wasn't bad but also it was nothing to write about. I could barely finish it because it was tasteless. My friends tried the custard flavor as well as Thai flavor, and they said it was just ok in taste. Don't think I'm going back any time soon. ~

Fun hole in the wall Boba Tea shop. I live south and got addicted to these teas by Delray Goodies so I wanted to check this place out with a friend. I love that it's tucked away from the rest of the mall and offers quiet places to catch up on work, study or hang out with friends. They have tea and food. We had the taro milk tea with the tapioca boba and it was awesome. The cups are also really cute. The server was nice and we only waited around for 5 minutes for him to handmake our drink. Very recommended and if I lived closer I would definitely make the stop in frequently!

Without a doubt, the worst Boba I've ever had, don't waste your time. watered down, flourless, totally subpar.

The food was excellent. I ordered the egg drop soup, beef and Chinese broccoli, salt and pepper chicken wings, shrimp dim sum, and young chow fried rice. The standout dish was definitely the beef and Chinese broccoli -- it ended up being everyone's favorite. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly work hard to make sure every guest has a great experience. With the restaurant only about 15 minutes from home, I'll definitely be returning.

The staff is not knowledgeable about the menu, and we asked if they would make a pretty standard dish not listed and was told no without asking the kitchen. Within 2 minutes after ordering, they bring the chicken and eggplant dish which clearly isn't ours, we have to wait down another server as the kids just drops it on the table. 5 minutes later they bring another chicken and eggplant which we said we'd like put appetizers first, so they take it back once again. Eggroll: pretty small and ok Pan fried dumplings, well done: barely fried, the filling while tasty has so much filler you couldn't tell what type of meat was actually used as it was a pale light color! Chicken w/ eggplant in garlic sauce: we said no extra heat so it came out w more of a bland brown sauce, no garlic, not much flavor. Oh well...it's ok for American Chinese cuisine.

There was plenty of seating and our server was very attentive. Ordered a lunch special Bento box which is on a separate menu that we had to inquire about. It comes with an appetizer, main, side, and dessert, so I recommend it as an opportunity to try a few things. I had pad Thai and short rib and didn't leave any on the plate. Everything I ate was tasty and more filling than the visual quantity would suggest. I appreciated that they leave a carafe of water at the table, and got to try a vegetable called edamame (*tip - you aren't supposed to eat the whole thing - just the beans) which was decent. Almost exclusively I eat at self-serve fast-food restaurants because that's my style, but I had a good experience at Shanghai'd and would invite a special lady for an intimate dinner there.

The portions are crazy small esp for the price. We also ordered the table side bbq and it was just all for show. The dipping sauces do not go well with the meat skewers and veggies. My family and I come here often for dim sum and celebrate Lunar New Year here every year. The service is always warm and attentive, especially from Sue, and we always leave happy, completely stuffed, and usually carrying leftovers. My dim sum favorites include the sticky rice with lotus leaves, chicken wings, siu mai, preserved egg and congee, steamed dumplings, fried shrimp balls, sesame balls, and pan fried turnip. You really can't go wrong with anything on the dim sum menu. Everything is made fresh, arrives hot, and is consistently delicious. For Lunar New Year, we order the whole steamed fish with scallions and ginger. It is perfectly cooked every time, flaky, moist, and full of flavor. We also love the roast chicken and duck, General Tso's chicken, and the pan fried seafood noodles loaded with scallops, shrimp, and calamari. Even the fried rice is a standout. This year, we placed an order ahead for the whole lobster and devoured it. I've heard they may be relocating when Whole Foods moves into the plaza, so be sure to stop in soon or follow them for updates. This place is truly a gem worth supporting.
