On a separate visit, I picked up 10 steamed dumplings. They let you match and mix so I got three shrimp, three beef, and four chicken. Overall I didn't enjoy the dumplings. The beef and chicken were nearly indistinguishable. The shrimp wasn't good to me. I also tried a potato Korean corn dog and a peach tea with tropical popping boba and a strawberry tea with strawberry popping boba. They were absolute delicious 10/10. Service and staff was professional and accommodating. The store was clean and comfortable as well. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu and probably get another Korean corn dog but I'll skip the dumplings. read more

Good thing this place is a short walk from the parking lot and in the corner of the mall rather than having to go to the food court or walking through the entire mall to reach. We ordered a lychee fruit tea with boba and less ice and 75% sugar and a Dubai chocolate matcha tea with less ice and 75% sugar. The lychee fruit tea was average but we asked for regular boba and were instead given mini boba for both drinks, which was pretty disappointing. It was also super disappointing that they don't even fill up the cup to the rim if you ask for less ice. The Dubai chocolate matcha was also kind of a let down. It tasted similar to chocolate milk. The ambiance is nice but the seating area is a little old and worn down. The service was also okay. I guess they prefer that you use the kiosk to order, but that is harder to customize so we called one of the employees over to place our order. I have passed by this boba shop a few times and it's always extremely busy. Today we went in and order the peach juice tea with honey boba and the beast rider which has strawberry, green tea and red bull and mini boba. I was worried the boba was not going to be soft because this place is rushing out order but I was pleasantly surprised my peach tea was sweet and delicious with the soft boba. My boyfriend loves his beast rider tea because of the caffeine and the flavor. The place is pretty spacious and has a ton of seating and the staff is really friendly. Overall really enjoyed this place and will defintely drop in again. I usually get strawberry milk boba from this place and they have never let me down once, if you don't like the texture of boba pearls you don't have to have them in and it's not a fee to have them in, the service is amazing They will explain everything to you. The only reason why I won't give it till five star review is that a little overpriced five dollars for a small cup other than that, everything was amazing. They sell a lot more things than just Boba they sell like macaroon dumplings, pastries, smoothies, coffee, and a whole bunch of other things. 100% worth trying. When this place first came out it was just an OK but now? Amazing. They have the iconic brown sugar boba flavor to their menu but added a nice twist with cream foam. It's sooo delicious and a very iconic drink in the boba world. Black Pearl boba offers a great variety of toppings (50 cents each) including pudding which everyone should try. They also have a great selection of snacks including the famous Korean Corndogs. I've never found another place that offers this besides here, jaw dropper when I saw it! I love a good boba tea. I have had Taro before and fruit teas in the past from other locations. I ordered the Lavender and she asked if I wanted it with milk. I said sure. I ordered my husband a fruit tea (Dragon Fruit I think) and told her to pick out a boba to go with this. My Lavender tea had almost no lavender taste to it. It was like Milk with tapioca boba. My husbands tea had so much ice he quickly finished it and had to put in the sun to wait for all the ice to melt before he could get his boba. If getting fruit tea I highly recommend asking for no ice or little ice. And do not recommend the lavender with milk. I would try the Taro tea and give them another shot though. read more

Very busy little spot. I really enjoy the steamed buns and dumplings. My only real complaint is that they rarely prep enough steamed buns for the day. So many times I've come in the early afternoon and there are no buns left. They should have plenty on hand, especially considering they are a popular item. After a 4 hour brunch on Sunday, my friends and I decided to get some boba tea. Many tea or coffee places close early on Sundays so this place is better than most in hours. They have a good sitting down area within the store. This place is inside the mall but has good amount of space. Those were some the positives. The negatives: The employee at the cash register was pretty confused when I asked which teas had caffeine in them. She first said none of them then another employee overheard her and corrected her statement. I ordered 24oz of the classic milk tea, it tasted below average. It wasn't bad but also it was nothing to write about. I could barely finish it because it was tasteless. Fun hole in the wall Boba Tea shop. I live south and got addicted to these teas by Delray Goodies so I wanted to check this place out with a friend. I love that it's tucked away from the rest of the mall and offers quiet places to catch up on work, study or hang out with friends. They have tea and food. We had the taro milk tea with the tapioca boba and it was awesome. The cups are also really cute. The server was nice and we only waited around for 5 minutes for him to handmake our drink. Despite the fact that they're pricier than what I'm used to, every other boba place in the area is similarly priced so I've come to terms with that pricing for this area. Their boba (regular, not honey) texture has always been okay or good (again, not the case with other boba places in the area) and I have always liked how my avocado slush tasted. The people working seem immature (overhear then complaining all the time about their life or customers) and they don't provide WiFi or bathrooms for customers - but Dillard's is nearby for both. read more

i just visited the wellington mall location and had THE worst experience. first of all the girls at the counter were so busy talking and ignoring me ( i can even tell you what theyre conversations were about since i was so rudely ignored) when i went to finally ordered they were out of the things i wanted then i was informed that under the menu where it says "milk tea" none of the actual fruit items had tea in them. i still ordered my 2 drinks. when i got my order the boba was SO clumpy i couldnt even suck them out of a straw. when i brought it up to the girl she proceeded to tell me its normal and its because i got the honey boba. but even the drink my boyfriend had was tapioca regular boba and was ALSO clumpy. we couldnt even drink it! she then proceeded to keep ignoring me and talking to her friends behind the counter who just were on their phones. ive been to MANY boba places, ive made my own AND i have my own boba blog. it wasnt "normal" for it to clumpy. and they way i was treated deffinately did not help my experience. read more

I've been to the Chatime shops in Sunrise and Miami, and even though I loved Chatime in Asia, the ones here in Florida just don't cut it for me. I'm a big fan of options, and Chatime in Florida really doesn't have much. That's why every time I'm in the Wellington area, I absolutely have to drop by Black Pearl for some boba tea. This place has it all, and I'm never disappointed with their flavors and jelly options. Big win: Black Pearl has mini boba! But they run out all the time, so go early to ensure you get some. Otherwise, their mango stars are pretty darn good -- I got an almond milk tea with mango stars the other day (like an almond tofu dessert), and I was pleasantly surprised with how good it tasted and how cute the stars were. To get more sweetness out of your drink, you can also get the honey boba. Trying something different: I like cherries, but I was kind of hesitant to try the cherry milk tea because it sounds like a strange combination. One of the employees was SO rude to me for no reason at all. It was honestly unbelievable and i had no words. Black Pearl Boba Tea was such an interesting find within the Wellington Green Mall. I have never visited this mall because I'm rarely up north to have any reason to visit. But I happened to have time between my two work shifts. I walked into the mall and checked out the directory. The first thing I saw was a Boba tea spot and I couldn't resist. I found BPBT on the second floor and it's actually quite a huge tea shop. There was awesome seating all around. My favorite were the huge comfy couches. There was a huge selection of milk flavors and fruit tea flavors. There were even a countless amount of add-ins from tapioca to popping boba to fruit gels. My sister got the matcha milk tea with mango popping boba and I got a lychee fruit tea with extra tapioca. They have two different servings 16oz and 24oz. My boba tea was delicious. Years ago I inquired about the milk used and was told it was coconut milk. I hope that is still the case but I forgot to ask. Many local businesses here claim that they have boba tea but it is either dairy or some powdered grossness. I have to agree with some of the other posts I read that their servers are subpar.
