I have heard about Delicias for many years, and I know it from the pastries at two gas stations on the east side of town, but I had no idea there was a larger store with a cafe and seating, also inside of a gas station, here! It actually made me want to live closer! There were many tasty items to choose from at noon on a weekday, mostly savory. I ordered randomly, a couple of different kinds of empanadas (including one with cheese and spinach), a beef pastry that was round, and something I had not heard of before, but the description intrigued me: Fried Venezuelan Pabellon Empanada. With a thick crust that held the ingredients inside well and reminded me of an arepa in texture, it was filled with shredded beef, black beans, and plantains. This combination of flavors was so good, so memorable, and I sure hope they carry these at the Delicias closest to me! read more

Their coffee is absolutely smooth and delicious, it is made to order so have some patience and all of the pastries and sandwiches are made there. I love this place. It's a little hidden gem in lake worth. If you are looking for some STRONG Cuban coffee this is the spot. I stop by every time I am nearby if I need a little pick me up. Near the intersection of State Road 7 and Jog Road, we found this place (Thanks YELP) inside a Gasoline station Convenience store. Lunch time was busy and we took our place in line as other guests were placing their orders. there four small tables inside and after ordering I sat at one of the tables while my wife paid. My Cuban Sandwich was packed with meat and served on authentic Cuban bread, the real deal. Outside of Dade County this place has some really great legit Cuban cuisine and pastries. As evidenced by the long lunch time lines and lots of take away orders, this place must be good and popular with the regulars. For an out of Miami place and one located in a convenience store of a gas station, this place had very good Cuban food. Folks were lined up for eat in and takeout. They have coffees, pastries, desserts, sandwiches, breakfast etc etc etc. But they were organized and the line went fast. You order and pay at the counter. They call you when your food is ready. Drinks are self serve from a cooler or fountain station. We got two sandwiches. They are made right there in front of you. He got a Cuban and I got a media noche. Both were packed with meat. The bread was fresh. Both were tasty and a large portion. We both ate half and had the other half for a later meal. I'm glad we tried this place. It's inside the gas station on lake worth and 441. Full Cuban bakery with some basic breakfast and lunch stuff. The pan con lechon (pork sandwich) is a favorite, pan con bistec is also really good. I would go as far as to say the papa rellana (potato balls filled with beef and then fried) are probably better than Havana or even Versailles down south. Delicias was a great surprise. Everything was fresh and yummy. Super busy when I got there, but they were quick. They had a lot of items already gone by the time I arrived, but the few things I grabbed were all tasty and you can't beat the prices. Loved the variety of the menu. Oh, when the cravings hit, sometimes it's just awful. Specifically what I mean by that is that I woke up yesterday morning with the worst desire ever for empanadas and croquetas. I blame my dear Elian D. entirely. Typically this wouldn't be an issue, but I'm temporarily living in the West Palm Beach area and I'm a novice to finding anything here. That and it isn't as if there's a Vicky Bakery around every corner. Ahem, anyway - the point is I both Yelped and Googled Cuban bakery and this place came up. Ten minutes away? No problem. In a gas station? Say what? Here is where I was skeptical. So alas, I sucked it in and drove my happy butt to kill the craving. The bakery was packed. I had to drive around twice to find a parking spot! Left my cousin in the car, headed in, and whoa, this was quite literally a hole in the wall. They have an indoor seating area, an *actual* bakery inside that even sells Cuban bread, and who knows how many other things. There were at least two or three people in front of me and the line moved quickly. It was finally my turn to order and aside from the empanadas and croquetas, I end up getting two pan de bono for my aunt. I end up paying $11 total, which is more pricey than what I'm used to, but I'll take it as this is the only Cuban bakery in the area. This isn't Miami anymore, sweet folks. The empanadas, chicken as I had chosen them, were stuffed to the brim and these were some of the better ones I've had in ages. I was pleasantly surprised. For the croquetas, they have three kinds made and sold at the location: the traditional ham, as well as cheese and chicken. I had opted for four chicken ones, and well, there was a mix-up and I ended up with one cheese one. I didn't try the cheese one, but my cousin did and she wasn't a fan. The chicken ones were rather tasty, albeit a bit too fried for my taste. As for the pan de bono, I had gotten those for my aunt, and she ate one, but I could tell it wasn't her cup of tea. Normally I'd rate this three stars, but the empanadas and the fact that there is anything even in this area that classifies as a Cuban bakery makes it a solid four. Seriously I am just grateful! Very solid Cuban bakery located, in all places, a gas station. They have about 1/3 of the interior of the gas station convenience store. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and they were very busy, but the line moved along fairly quickly. Location quirkiness aside, this place has some seriously good food. The pastries are out of this world. We got the crème caramel flan, the sugar syrup dipped cappuccino cakes and the powdered sugar custard pastry and all were sensational. Coffee was also very good! But it's not only the sweets and coffee that were good. The savory items were also solid. We got the beef empanadas and cheese fingers and they were both excellent. They were also served hot and fresh out of the oven, which certainly didn't hurt. If you feel like enjoying your items on the spot, Delicias has a nice little sitting area outside. It's clean and comfortable and there are 3 or 4 good sized tables there. We enjoyed our coffee and pastries while a cool breeze refreshed us. After a long day, it was a very satisfying experience. After my last review with photos of my sandwich, I was inboxed by the company and they said that is not the norm and offered me a credit towards my next order. This time we opted for the western with american cheese and we received bacon in it as well (which we did not order, but it was a nice add on lol) I wrote specific notes in the "Comment" section before placing my order to please cut in half as this was being split by 2 people and it was cut perfectly in half rather than 3/4 and 1/4 like last time. In the future I will write those specific instructions because as you can see from the new sandwich the majority of the omelet is at the top of the bread and it ends at the bottom of the bread. So if it is not cut in half and you only get the bottom portion - well you can see from my previous photos how that looked. I will certainly order from them again! read more

A gas station with good food? Yes! I know bizarre as hell, but true. Service is lightning fast. These ladies do not mess around. They have a great system going and you'll be in and out. Ambiance? Ok so I'm so hesitant to write this because I'm selfishly afraid they'll run out of my favorite faster than they already do . The short rib empanada is literally drool worthy. The meat is well seasoned and juicy as all can be. The outside shell is crispy but not greasy and literally the perfect thickness. You can't go wrong with these, but leave me a few since I sent you there,k? Why a 4 not 5? The coffee. So sad but I just can't. I'm not a coffee snob but can't handle a coffee with that stick to the back of your throat aftertaste and this one does that, BIG TIME. I don't care though. I just don't get the coffee. This is quite a surprise inside a gas station. A Cuban cafeteria/restaurant/bakery. The food is sooooo good. Their cold Cuban cafe con Leche is amazing. The girls at the counter are really great. They don't speak much English, but they understand and can explain in broken English what's what. The eat in area isn't much to look at and leaves a lot to be desired, but there's and outside area that's covered by trees so you can eat al fresco when it's nice out. The have already precooked food like rice beans chicken ground beef soups etc that change daily. The food is very authentic. They will also cook breakfast, or lunch sandwiches which are great. This place is a hole in the wall. Don't be discouraged by the location. This small restaurant is located inside a gas station but I assure you the food is out of this world. On occasion, the line wraps around the whole inside of the gas station because the food is that good. Personally, I loved their iced cafe con leche and their "Pan con Bistek," which translates to "Steak Sandwich" "Pan Con Bistek" is marinated steak, lettuce, tomato, sautéed onions, mayo and chips. It's amazing and every time I'm in town (currently residing in Jacksonville, FL) I go here for my "Pan con Bistek" fix. They also make a mean Cuban Sandwich. I live down the street and have been a regular customer until today, the morning of 12/23/23. We placed a mobile order as we normally do and proceeded to go to the restaurant. When we got there they had not seen the order ticket yet and one of the employees rudely responded telling us that we got there too early. I understood and told them I had no problem waiting. 45 minutes later dozens of customers stopped in and left with their items, until I finally asked how much longer our order would take and the same employee snapped and said another 15-20 minutes. At that point it was clear that this individual was being spiteful so I responded telling her we no longer wanted our order and would cancel. She responded "good because we haven't started the order". I'm a business owner and this level of customer service is simply unacceptable in my business. They are a busy place and I'm sure loosing my business means nothing to the owners however for their own sake long term I hope they take corrective measures in their customer service approach. read more

There is always a line, every single time I go so you know they're doing something right. It's a little Cuban bakery that makes up half of the gas station. They have a variety coffees and baked goods but I always go for the Cuban sandwich. They don't skimp on the meat but never hot enough for the bread to be crispy and the cheese to fully melt, every single time. I keep coming back for it but it's never heated thoroughly or else it would be amazing. At this point I keep hoping for something different but it's not happening and I keep going back. It's on a busy intersection of Lake Worth with Exxon gas station and inside they have this cute little Cuban bakery with a bunch of bakery and breakfast options. They have a few tables and seating if you plan on eating there. I really just went in for a iced cafe con leche but their pastries were to tough to resist. Their guava pastries were filled nicely with or without cheese. Got two of those, as well as chocolate pastry and 4 mini cheese croquettes. All these things for $12.50, you can't beat the price.
