My friend got her toddler daughter an Italian Soda and they gave her a kids whipped cream cup with confetti sprinkles which was super cute. She also found the hidden bear and got a sticker as well. I love when businesses make it fun for the kids. Bonus they had a local artist spotlight showcase which was so neat! I recommended Insomnia and she loved it. The bakery items are also terrific. I am a croissant freak, and theirs is now my 3rd favorite. My first is anywhere in Paris, 2nd is Bakery Noveau in Seattle. My third favorite was La Provence, but the version at Insomnia is even better. It flakes crumbs as it should. The staff is also quite friendly Today I had the blueberry/blackberry scone and it was so good. I did bring a croissant home as my wife agrees with my assessment as well. Cute place packed full of unique gifts...great Christmas gift potential: ornaments, jewelry, sweets, art. As for the chocolates, they've got a decent sized selection displayed near the back of the store. I needed 8 boxes for gifts, and not being a big lover of chocolates myself, I let the very sweet and helpful employee make the selections for me. They have a variety of box sizes based off of weight, and pretty good pricing in my opinion. Sweet place with great customer service! :)
