We loved everything about this place. The vibe was just right and the tacos were delicious. It's a great place to hang outside and have some authentic tacos.

My wife found this place. She's always looking for a good taco spot. I'm so glad we went because everything we tried was really good. You can taste the freshness in the ingredients and how well it was prepared. There's only outdoor seating FYI, but it is covered. I look forward to going back.

Tacos and quesadilla were very appealing, well-seasoned and tasty! Customer service was great upon arrival. Only 10-15 parking spaces available and no inside seating...tables and chairs as well as beverages located outside underneath large, covered veranda. Great, casual dining experience sort of like an outside BBQ. Went on a Friday afternoon and not crowded.

Great spot to duck into for a quick and filling bite. Lots of taco varieties. Lots of outdoor seating and fast service.

Items ordered: Elote, squash flower quesadilla, grilled cheese taco, vegan rajas taco Value: Overpriced Service: To-go order took about 15-20 minutes The Review: We were looking forward to trying Hunger Street Tacos because we were, in fact, on Starving Street. The staff were incredible, explaining all of the options, ingredients, addressing dietary needs. However, the food doesn't exactly hit the mark. The elote was boiled in a "bone broth" and then covered with Mayo. Should have just been grilled/charred like typical elote! Tortillas were a bit dry and inside of the quesadillas, the cheese was burnt to a black crisp. The best part were the various salsas that came with the meal. I'm wondering if we came at the wrong time of day? We really shelled out to try a bunch of different things on the menu. Unfortunately, cost a lot for okay food.

Other than the fact that I think Hunger Street should stay open longer (8pm is way too early for a Mexican restaurant in my opinion), I'm a big fan of this local spot. My order always includes the chicken quesadilla due to the incredibly flavorful and tender protein, and I usually jump around the menu for my second choice, which has all been quality so far. Service is quick for both take out and dine-in, which is a casual shaded outside patio.

Use to love going here because there were vegan options as well as meat tacos. Loved the fresh flavors. I did a pick up and ordered a few tacos. The black bean and Guac taco as well as the black bean and mushroom Sope did not disappoint. However the kids meal, the cheese quesadilla let us down, don't know what was in there - was told it was only cheese. The rice was crunchy and not sure what we were given but it was not the cucumber salad.

Having driven past for many years I finally got a chance to stop in for a bite to eat. Seating is outdoors but we ordered inside. Service was fast. The tacos were on point but I have to say the winner was the Elote for sure. A lot of cheese but the corn was perfect.

Fast food, or is it? The service is certainly quick. Order, give your name, find a seat and in no time you will be eating. No space inside but everything outside is covered so consider that if you are looking to eat here. The SUADERO TACOS - Seared Brisket, Avocado Salsa Verde, Onion, Cilantro, Lime were pretty amazing. Don't forget there are two tortillas, so slide the bottom one out to divide the top ingredients amongst the two. The CHICKEN QUESADILLAS - Shredded Chicken, Chihuahua Cheese, Avocado Salsa Verde were even better. As quick as service was, this is also a quick meal to eat. It is the perfect lunch stop for something quick and good to get you back on the road.

    Catering chicken and suadero
    Jesy T.

Got catering from hunger street tacos and I loved the chicken tacos more than anything. The tortilla was super soft and the chicken was just nice and juicy. Catering offers a bunch of toppings to pick and choose from so I got to dress it with avocado salsa, onions, and tlacoyo salsa. I also tried the suadero tacos, which I wasn't a fan of. They were a little more oily than I like and the tortilla seemed a bit harder than the chicken one. Again, this is just a review based off catering, going to the actual establishment is an experience of its own, and the tacos are brought out fresh to you!

Is the outdoor and/or indoor dining area open for seating at this time? The website states that they are only allowing take-out, but the question below indicates that they're open for seating. Just need some clarification. Thank you.

Yes, they are open with their usual outdoor seating. They are still taking online orders, and you can also order inside, face to face with a mask. I was there last night and the patio was full, very busy.

Do they have a chicken taco without chorizo? I can't eat chorizo or brisket.

They also have a chicken quesadilla that doesn't have chorizo. Their quesadillas are really good!

    Are dogs allowed?

    Yes!

Can you park on the street in the neighborhood behind the restaurant?

The chicken nachos and chorizo queso were great starters. I ordered the Ginger margarita based on the raving reviews by my co-workers, even though it was not a special. And, it did not disappoint! Our bartender was fantastic and kept all of our orders straight. The hostess walked us upstairs to our reserved table for 10. The view across the restaurant was grand, but lively atmosphere and the high ceilings contributed to the challenge of carrying on a conversation. I could only talk with those who were seated close by. Shane was our server for the night, engaged with us, and kept the drinks flowing. We ordered a number of Deluxe fajita platters with massive amounts of steak and chicken. Both meats were grilled and seasoned perfectly. Copious amounts of tortillas and the fajita fixins. I really enjoyed the charred jalapeño and mushrooms. I ordered the chicken Al Carbón tacos, and enjoyed the complementary flavors of the smoked onions and the salsa cremosa. With both of these great tasing dishes, I wished I had a larger stomach! NOTES Outside seating is available (for nicer weather) and there's plenty of parking. The only downside of the night? The food took a long time to get to our table.

The grandson recommended Queso Loco so we tried it. Definitely not disappointed. There were three main birria options, the birria quesadillas, birria tacos, and quesabirria tacos. I had the quesobirria tacos and the wife had the Barria quesadillas. Both were spot on delicious. I enjoyed the taco version better because they were like tiny quesadillas that were crispy all over. The consommé was flavorful and not at all greasy. The wife refuses to dip her food into a broth and make it mushy, but she tried it and was enjoying that consommé on the remaining bites. The service was fast and friendly. It started to get crowded but we never felt rushed. The place is decorated well with vibrant Hispanic motive. I can't forget the chicken quesadilla that the daughter had. She said it was also full of chicken, cheese, and goodness. We live nearby so Queso Loco will be our go to spot.

Got the Chios & Queso. That queso was really good. I haven't tried it before. So creamy and the bacon in it adds a good touch. I got the Quesadilla with Chorizo. Wow... that chorizo is soooo good. It was crumbled chorizo and it was a little crispy from being cooked on the flat top. I love that crispyness to it, just like on a good corned beef hash. The quesadilla was packed with meats, veggies and cheese. I wish I got a picture of the cheese being gooey when I pulled it apart. My husband got the nachos with chicken. The fresh sliced jalapeño's were not spicy (after we took the seeds out) and it was packed with flavor. The nachos were layer... which is the ONLY way to enjoy nachos. 10/10 he would get them again he said. Overall, great food experience. Can't wait to indulge again.

Unfortunately, as much as I love the food there and the ambience, especially on Cinco de Mayo, I was starving! I remembered around the corner there was a restaurant that had been recommended in the past, but I never got the chance to check out. Being that I was in the area, I figured let's give this spot a try. Lo and behold, El Pueblo was only six minutes down the road! There was a 20 minute wait, but I was greeted kindly by the staff, and when I walked in you could tell this place was super authentic. The decor was super vibrant and music was bumping. They do not have alcohol, but they have coronas and a margarita type glass premixed for purchase. That held us over for the time being. The chips and salsa were phenomenal. The salsa had some type of sweet pepper flavor to it and you could tell it was homemade. My friend got three tacos with rice and beans and I got the flautas you were able to choose your own meat, which was really cool no extra charge. Sometimes back up plans can end up being the best finds. Definitely will be back!!!!
