This place was amazing! We came for the taco Tuesday deal but everything looked so delicious so we also tried nachos and empanadas. The tacos had the freshest tortilla I've ever tried-- soft and not crumbly-- and you can tell they are made in house (as confirmed by the server). The meat options are limited for the $2 deal but I enjoyed both chicken and pastor. The nachos were also delicious, stacked with salty refried beans and tender birria. The crunch from raw onions and cilantro balanced the rich meat. And lastly, definitely order the birria empanadas which were stuffed with lamb, coated in cheese, and came with a savory consome to dip. It seems pricey, but the 3 empanadas were much larger than expected and worth a try.

This was the 2nd time we ate at this restaurant. Not pictured here was the birria ramen from the 1st time we went. This place has birria everywhere and it does not disappoint! We tried the birria pizza and the birria burger this time. The birria pizza was delicious and the cheese pull was out of this world!! We definitely recommend this spot for authentic Mexican and everything birria any day! The servers were attentive both times and very nice. The decor and vibes are very colorful and vibrant.

I love a good mom and pop shop- and damn this one was great! Small, quaint and clean- just how I like it. The server was the absolute sweetest and super attentive- he even gave us the remote so that our kids could watch something- just above and beyond. The food was incredible - we got the birria tacos, asada tacos and a quesadilla for the kids.

We stopped in Tacos and Grill from a Yelp recommendations of the area by UCF. We walked in and was greated by the staff and sat down. Ordered the Mexican style pizza with extra cheese. The crust was flaky and crunchy with lots of shredded pork and cheese. Very tasty. Restaurant was a typical style Mexican restaurant look.

This place left me speechless. I saw such great reviews that had to try this for myself when I was in the area. Some of the best food I've had in a while and coming from Gainesville I think we lack good authentic high quality Mexican food. I had the tacos de pollo which came with rice and beans and my bf had the birria. The rice was fluffy and perfectly seasoned. Probably one of the best rice I ever had from a Mexican place. The beans were a little spicy and I love spicy but it was a little too much for me since I was sick. But I'd come back for the rice for sure. My chicken tacos were simple which is what I wanted but the chicken was nice and juicy. It was all very comforting and just bursting with spices. 10/10 amazing food!

Came across this place from an Instagram post... they were advertising $20 all you can eat and $2 tacos. (All you can eat ends at 5pm). We got there after the all you can eat special ended... so we ordered off the regular menu. Everything we got was TOP SHELF. Dare I say, the best birria dishes I've had in central Florida. Service was so so. But the food made up for it. Will definitely be back (hopefully before the all you can eat ends)...

Me and my wife love tacos and have been looking for a real deal birria spot for in Florida. Safe to say that we found it! Mouth watering quesabirria tacos and an a huge (and delicious!) birria burrito with fries. Must try if you're in Orlando!

We stopped by after a visit to UCF. Our group ordered a variety of dishes. I had the chorizo tacos which were excellent! Enjoyed the rice and beans as well which were very flavorful. The quesabirrias got high marks from 3 people in our group. The birria pizza and birria empanadas got slightly less marks from the pickier teens but I can't tell by the plate as the pizza plate is clean! Fries were also given good reviews. The lowest mark was for the chimichanga but the waitress spent time going over the menu and it wasn't one that she mentioned as good so there's that. The waitress was very helpful and the food came faster than I expected as it was made fresh. The lemonade and pineapple juice also got rave reviews and was reported to be very fresh. It was also served in a cute vase like cup. Thumbs up!

Food was so good I forgot to take a picture before eating. Best birria I've had in Orlando so far. Will definitely be coming back.

Disclaimer: this review is for the lunch buffet only…read more I went with my family to try the $18.49 all you can eat lunch buffet. This was my first time experiencing a buffet for hispanic food and for this price point in Orlando, this is an amazing value deal. The server regularly brought us out silverware, napkins, and refilled our water. The place is decorated very fun and plays latin music which was lovely Not only was there an unlimited assortment of lunch foods, but an entire bar of fresh toppings for tacos (or rice bowls) and made to order desserts which were included for free! Not everything on the buffet line was the best but given the amount of options, price, and how good the great items are this is still worth a five star rating. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the food before I began devouring everything in sight to the point of near-collapse, but I will do a quick rundown of the buffet highlights: The best meats were the fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp made fresh in cast iron skillets, as well as the chicken lengua which was super flavorful and tender. The mexican rice, beans, fajitas, plantains, and street corn were also excellent. Fresh quesadillas, chips, and corn tortillas on standby with homemade queso and salsas. The flan and mini churros were the best I've ever had. Super rich, decadent Carmel flan. Mini churros hot and crisp on the outside, filled with a gooey soft milk chocolate center. They were delicious. Items that were disappointing: the tamales, mini chicken flautas, and beef chimichangas were just okay, lacking the seasoning and flavor that other dishes had. The beef barbacoa was not as tender or flavorful as the shredded chicken surprisingly. The mixed seafood was itself a mixed bag with some shrimps / scallops overcooked to much while others were perfectly cooked. The chicken mole and beef tri tip were room temperature despite sitting on hot plates. The tri tip also varied widely in doneness throughout the slices and not super tender. The rice pudding was pretty standard, and the tres leches cake was weird as they crumbled the cake into pieces before soaking it.

When I sat down, I ordered the frozen Margarita flight, which came with a watermelon, mango, and strawberry Margarita. All of them were pretty good, but by far the mango was my favorite. It tasted just like you were drinking mango nectar. For my entrée, I ordered the Carne Asada tacos. They had such a great taste, and the portion size was quite generous. I ordered it with rice and beans, and it all left me feeling quite full. The atmosphere is also quite nice. With it being in the heart of downtown orlando, I thought it might be loud and busy in there, but it was actually quite quiet and relaxing. The service was also very quick and prompt to get all of our food. Our waitress made sure to check in with us throughout service to see what we needed!

When we arrived, the restaurant was practically empty, there was no hostess, and we had to wait to be acknowledged. Our server (a Hispanic woman with heavy goth-style makeup--I didn't catch her name) was polite enough, but there were several missed opportunities to improve the experience. The biggest issue was that they were out of multiple menu items we specifically came to try. We had also planned on ordering the duck-themed cocktail that was pictured online, only to be told, "We don't do that anymore." If that's the case, the menu and promotional photos should really be updated. Food: * Chicken Nachos - 3/10: Mostly burnt chips with hard, unmelted cheese. There was barely any chicken, and they lacked flavor. * Watermelon Margarita - 0/10: It was extremely sour. I sent it back and ordered a frozen margarita instead. * Frozen Margarita - Average at best. What was frustrating is that happy hour started about seven minutes later, and our server never mentioned that nearly everything we ordered would have been half-price. A heads-up would have been appreciated. * Street Corn - 6/10: The tableside presentation of cutting it off the cob was nice, but that's really what you're paying for. It could have used much more seasoning, and only two small pieces of corn were served. * Shrimp Tacos - 2/10 * Fish Tacos - 2/10: Both were soggy and lacked flavor. * Spanish Rice - 1/10: Bland and disappointing. Overall, the food was underwhelming, several advertised menu items and drinks weren't available, and the service missed opportunities to enhance the experience. For the prices, I expected much better quality, better communication about happy hour, and a menu that matched what was actually being offered. Unfortunately, I don't see myself returning.
