I wouldn't change a thing on the pizza (never tellin Picasso how to paint ; ) My hubs & I had the sausage & pepper pizza...... it was perfect! My wife and I stayed in Beaufort for five day, and ate at the Black Sheep twice! In a town with great food options, the Black Sheep is exceptional. The pizza looked amazing, but we had the crostini and the burrata, twice! Delicious! Breathtaking views, amazing drinks, local brews on tap, but the best part was the great servers! I can always forgive an oversight, especially when a server is genuinely nice/respectful...but our bartender toed the line of appropriate by acting chummy and egging my girlfriend to order more than water with her lunch. The crab cake had bits of shell in it and the bartender failed to take note of the sausage on my pizza order. It's not a bad restaurant, but it was a weak experience, hence why I'm only giving it 3 stars. read more

We enjoyed a mid October lunch on the back porch. It was delightful and delicious! Black Sheep was recommended to us by several people for our first time in Beaufort, and it did not disappoint! We stopped in for a late dinner and ordered a Charcuterie Pie and the Black Sheep BPT sandwich, both were DELICIOUS! They came out steaming and tasted very fresh. The hostess and waitress were both very friendly. We got to sit right on the deck and had a great view of the water and yachts docked alongside. Our server, Olivia was friendly but not attentive at all. She never offered to refill our drinks. We waited over 30 minutes for our food, it was not hot. The chicken salad was bland. We asked for our bill the next time we saw her but she never came back to pick it up so we left cash. I've been to black sheep a few times and the food never misses y'all. Their pizza and sandwiches are incredible. The Mediterranean appetizer platter is incredible AND serves a crowd. This pizza is something special. I've eaten in every spot in bft, and this is one of my consistent favorites! Not sure why it only has 3.5 stars right now. Only thing I can imagine is that people are so used to crappy delivery pizza that they don't know realize how great this brick-oven gourmet pizza is! Get the margarita, it's a classic. Black Sheep is an awesome pizza spot in beautiful Beaufort, NC. I devoured a gorgeous hand-tossed brick oven pizza called the CHARCUTERIE PIE. Perfectly delicious. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. I highly recommend that you take advantage of the outdoor seating and enjoy your meal with a view of Beaufort's marina. I've never had trouble finding parking in Beaufort. The town is quite small so even though you may park a couple blocks away, everything is within walking distance. I've only tried the pizza at Black Sheep but I hear that their cocktails and desserts are also amazing. The Black Sheep staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. If you're a fan of Durham's Pizzeria Toro, I understand that the chef from Toro spent six months at Black Sheep sharing his pizza making skills with that restaurant's Chef. I would love to visit them again to try some more of their menu. read more

Ordered the cheese tray and the pepperoni pizza. Both were good. Unfortunately our waitress was not. She was pleasant but frankly she wasn't all there. The restaurant was not busy. However it took forever to get out food and then they brought the pizza out virtually right in top of serving us our cheese tray. We ran out of tea multiple times. She seemed "unaware" it was really weird. I prefer Queen Anna's Revenge next door anyway. read more
