Second anniversary dinner we have celebrated here. Drove about 90 mins to eat here both times. Here is what I'll say about this place: A lot of places charge high prices for dinner these days and prop up their restaurant with above average service and good decoration. This place is the real deal. You definitely pay a lot. However, the food is absolutely worth the price you pay. This is a restaurant that talks the talk and walks the walk. The wedge salads is beyond comprehension how good it is. The bread is transcendent. I got the dry aged steak and my wife got the wagyu. Both were true to definition fine dining. My wife insisted on the truffle fries as a shareable side and by gosh they were the best fries ever had...that being said...wagyu 5oz is $130. You aren't going wrong here. It's our first time back after a disastrous dinner two years ago. Tonight we were pleasantly surprised. Dinner was very good. Then came dessert. No peach ice cream for you. Really? No one in the restaurant. No run on bread pudding w peach ice cream tonight. Disappointing end to what was a good dinner experience. Waiter went back and asked No peach ice cream for you!! If you're in the area do not miss this restaurant! Then menu is expansive with so many good options, I tried the bacon wrapped scallops, lobster bisque, chicken piccata, and pistachio cheesecake for dessert. Each dish was delicious, hot, and flavorful. The service was wonderful and I received warm chocolate chip cookies with the check which was a nice treat to take with me. Love the atmosphere. We feel very fancy and rich when we go. My son calls this "the fathers day restaurant ". The service is the die for. The waiter has a little crumb knife thing and will come by to sweep away your crumbs. They give you a warm wet towel to clean your hands.! No need to get a ton of sides they are very large. My husband and I went here for our 25 anniversary. We loved the upscale steakhouse vibe. I had the Beet salad and the short rib special, my husband had the Oysters Rockefeller and the NY strip. We have been wanting to try Prime for months now & finally made it! We already are talking about our next trip back. Walking in the front door you're greeted by their dry aged meat coolers. The restaurant is cozy & clean. Our server was attentive and detail oriented. After coming to the agreement of splitting the large charcuterie board we also ordered the beet salad and french onion soup. The beet salad was good, it came out with spinach instead of arugula which was a bit disappointing since arugula is my favorite but it was still good. I would order it again if they had arugula. The french onion soup was a 10/10! The charcuterie board had a great array of local & world wide cheeses & meats accompanied by their homemade fig jam. Great atmosphere we were greated at the door with a smile. It was our anniversary so they gave us a small gift and a card signed by the staff. This is something that has never happened to us before. I got the 16 oz ribeye cooked medium rare and it was spot on. The quality of the steak was top notch and need no sauces to help with the flavor. The wife got the medallions cooked perfectly and the sauces that came with them were perfect. We also split the wedge salad it was just enough to split. And for our side we got the twice baked potato which was also shareable and was probably the best twice baked I have had in a while. read more

Our Table was offered a duck special. Every other table was offered a wagyu special. I thought it was odd as I would have gotten the wagyu. The Crab stack app was ok but over priced. The dry aged NY strip was OK but also overpriced- i think it was around 70$ + 6$ for a sauce + 14$ for days old potatoes = bad value. The Pork Ragu was terrible. I am convinced it had smoked brisket instead of roasted pork shoulder. It tasted like an oversalted Texas BBQ sandwich. Not worth it. read more

This was our first dining experience at Prime and I am sorry I didn't get our waiters name but he was simply fabulous. It was my daughter in laws Birthday so we all went to dinner including my 3 Grandson's. My 4 year Grandson was sitting going on that this is the best Restaurant ever. Our waiter brought hot chocolate chip and my Grandson lost look they even made cookies for us. Our waiter actual sat down next to him to listen to my Grandson tell how wonderful everything was, pretty impressive for a 4 yr old. So moving obviously we were very impressed with the service, knowledgeable, attentive and thoughtful service. The food was very good we had the bone marrow which was excellent Appetizer, blooming onion ok, bbq Shrimp ok, my main was the 14 ox ribeye was cooked rare as requested, my wife had the Grouper and she absolutely loved (that is rare). Excellent place for a very wonderful dinner! The service is top notch, with very knowledgable servers (of both foods and drinks). The restaurant is simply decorated with classic elegance. The food is very well prepared. We went during their Sunday specials, choosing from 3 entree options...and also from the main menu. We had the lobster bisque, the king crab stack, the sirloin, a ribeye, and the lobster parmesan mahi. Everything was deliciously prepared. Decided to try this highly rated, high-end restaurant during Restaurant week, when there are fixed price menus that make the experience more affordable for the average person. The atmosphere was quiet and sophisticated, very much the classic steakhouse vibe. Service was kind and prompt, and the courses were brought in a timely way. However, the food was completely unmemorable. They offered a surf and turf combo which was sirloin and crabcake. Now I get that sirloin is not going to be delmonico quality, but I would expect at least some seasoning. There was none that I could discern. It was tender, but had no flavor---and usually sirloin is flavorful, but a little chewy compared to other cuts. The crabcake was OK, but nothing special. The lobster bisque was the same. The dessert, a salted caramel cheesecake, was over the top sweet and too much caramel, not enough cheesecake flavor. I think the thing that struck me about the food was that for a place putting out a sophisticated steakhouse vibe, the food was very unsophisticated and ordinary, if bot downright bland. Very, very disappointing, and expensive--even with the discounted fix price menu, the bill with tip still ran almost $100 per person. I had hoped to find an addition to our stable of "go-to" restaurants for special occasions, but this one will not be on that list. read more

Really yummy dinner ! To start, the bistro rolls were AMAZING. I absolutely regret not getting a second round of those. We also did the chefs tour charcuterie which was very good. Our table tried the prime ribeye, filet flight, and the flat iron. All were very good. The blue cheese crust on the steak was my favorite of all the toppings and sauces we tried. I made a reservation for my bf's birthday, and we each got the filet flights. I had mine medium and his was medium rare, both were cooked to perfection! The butters to dip in complimented the steaks well. We also got the mac and cheese to share, also delicious. The star of the night was not the steak or the mac and cheese, it was the bread! Took my friend here for her birthday last night . Atmosphere is amazing... staff is above and beyond food is amazing. They actually gave her a personalized birthday card signed by the staff . Our waitress was absolutely amazing and very attentive. They go into great detail about the menu and off menu items available for the day. Very high class so it is expensive but well worth the money spent for the 5 star treatment that we received. They went as far as personalizing a birthday card for her and had the staff sign it. Finally a true fine dining restaurant in the local area. The service, drinks and food were exceptional. The wine list is extensive and full of some great choices. I really wanted to like this place, went there for drinks first and had a great time at the bar. They had a good whiskey and wine selection as well. Next we went for dinner on a whim knowing it would be expensive. First, they did this weird thing where they went over the menu with us like we couldn't read, some people may appreciate it but I found it condescending and annoying. The food, while alright, wasn't "knock your socks off" great and I found it to be slightly better than average. Our favorite dish was the Oysters Rockefeller. My ribeye was a bit overcooked to medium when I asked for medium rare which really isn't acceptable from a high end steakhouse. The food quality and flavor isn't worth the price. I've paid as much for meals in Phoenix and Chicago, but the food was head and shoulders better than what it was at Prime. read more

3rd visit. This time to celebrate an anniversary. Friendly greeting at the door reservation found and we were seated in one minute. Logan arrived quickly to offer a couple of water choices a nice touch. Our server Jillian welcomed us and gave an anniversary gift to the couple along with a card signed by the entire staff. Wine and cocktail menus in hand we started debating all were very pleased at the choices. It is a high end steak house with wood fired grill to cook the steaks. We settled on two different filets, mushroom risotto and an aged ribeye. Today they also offered Wagyu beef as well. The risotto not usually one of my favorites was incredible. All our steaks were cooked perfectly and extremely flavorful and tender. Yeast rolls and lobster dip were starters and lovely. Service is very attentive while never intruding. An excellent destination for a celebration. A little pricey for everyday but certainly a terrific high end steak house. The chocolate cake was astounding.
