Whether it's Michelle or Dee inside the van, I know when I walk up to order from Black Sheep Coffee Club that not only am I going to get a great drink, I'm going to have a fun conversation. Even the first time I visited I was greeted with the warmth and familiarity of an old friend and each visit feels the same. I was drawn to try it by the cuteness of Lil Kim (the van), but I really fell in love with the product and the service. Sometimes I go out of my way to drive through Mount Holly just so I can get whatever monthly special Michelle has come up with. Michelle takes the time to curate fresh flavors, and I love patronizing a business that commits their customers orders to memory. I look forward to getting coffee for a mid-day pick me up, and BSC never disappoints. Michelle really takes the time to get to know her customers, and her commitment to using local resources/vendors is exactly what community is supposed to be about. "Lil' Kim" is the cutest coffee truck ever! We will drive 20 minutes to pick up a latte from BSC and walk around downtown Mount Holly. Michelle pulls each shot with care, and every interaction we've had has us leaving with smiles on our faces. Syrup flavors (unique and locally sourced!) rotate every so often and each one we have tried is fabulous. Definitely follow on Instagram to check which seasonal flavor is in rotation. Note that they only offer non-dairy options, but honestly you won't miss the milk (I'm a whole milk girly but dang their vanilla oat milk latte hits the spot). read more

Black Sheep is amazing!! They recently vended coffee at a festival we hosted on the farm and everyone loved their drinks! Michelle was so kind and friendly and I love that she makes her own syrup flavorings. We talked about the type of customers the festival would have and she was very open to collaborating and making sure she was serving the types of drinks the crowd would like. Plus the van is just so stinkin cute and a great conversation starter! Love this little coffee van in downtown! Michelle is super nice and makes delicious coffee with rotating homemade syrups- the Biscoff Cookie was my favorite! She is full of coffee knowledge and welcoming to people from all walks of life. Tried Black Sheep for the first time on Saturday at a festival. Ordered an iced strawberry matcha with almond milk and it was SO good!! Not too grassy, not too sweet, but really nice and balanced flavor. Perfect for a hot day!!
