My younger sister lives in Gastonia and I'm in Fort Mill so we decided to get together at this location for a mini Christmas visit. She suggested it as a good half-way spot and said its low key casual and really good food and she had been there several times always with a good experience. I will echo those same feelings as we had a great lunch on a busy Monday. There was certainly an eclectic group of people there. Young people, couples, seniors, families and business people. Some were there just to snag a coffee or tee for the road. Most were ordering and scrambling for a seat. My sister told me it was a coffee shop before and never really got real traction to stay in business. You stand in line and order and pay then they hand you a buzzer and when it flashes you go and get your food. I had the Spicy turkey with cheese and avocado and it was delicious. My Sis had the veggie quiche. We shared and both agreed we made the right choice. It's a small place and feels even smaller when there is a crowd. The tables are all jammed in together and not much room in between. There are two dining rooms and outside seating on a covered patio. The aisle way where the coffee and tea is served gets jammed up as well. People order and then just stand around talking waiting for their beverage. It create a problem because it blocks access to the bathrooms. The Staff is great, very nice and they hustle to keep things moving. It was a little loud and somewhat hard to have a conversation. I think it would be much more enjoyable in the spring and after when it warms up enough to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the fresh air. The menu looked really good and the brisket caught my eye, maybe that will be on my menu for my next visit. Parking is a real challenge. No designed parking, street parking only and walk a couple of blocks for public parking area. That's great when the weather is good but a consideration when the weather is not so good. read more

I usually enjoy coming here after church and have consistently had good experiences, which is why this visit was so disappointing. The new lady cashier this time had no basic customer service, no greeting, no "how are you," just staring and pointing instead of communicating. It felt dismissive and uncomfortable from the start. When my order was called, I heard my cold brew but someone else took it. I waited for a while thinking maybe it was still being prepared, but nothing came. When I politely asked, I was met with attitude and told I "already had the ticket," which clearly wasn't true. Instead of handling it professionally or even asking a simple clarifying question, the guy making the drinks reacted abruptly, snatched things around, and remade BOTH drinks without any acknowledgment or apology. On top of that, the cold brew itself tasted extremely watered down like no care was put into it at all. The whole interaction felt rushed, impersonal, and honestly disrespectful, especially after paying for the service. I understand everyone has off days, but basic courtesy and communication go a long way. This experience didn't reflect the standard I've come to expect from this place, and I hope it's addressed. read more

Great experience!! Parking- we parallel parked out front and found a spot easily Tables- plenty both inside and outside. It's seat yourself. Drinks- definitely tons to choose from! They have alcoholic cans and wine bottles as well as many sodas in bottles/cans. Coffee- they have a full coffee bar and menu. The espresso was amazing! Pastries- tons to choose from! All delicious! Wow, what a gem! I can't believe no one's recommended this spot to me. Simple menu, but at the same time I had a hard time choosing, because everything looked great. My husband opted for the Porceta sandwich and I grabbed the spicy turkey. The bread is insanely soft and while mine was great, the porceta stole the show. I only had dessert at this place, and I would say it was just okay. I was in a group of 4, and it was crowded, but the line moved pretty quick. I got the coconut chess pie. Admittedly, I've never had it before, but I love coconut. I found my slice to be a tad dry. Maybe that's normal, but I hope hoping for something more creamy. It was sort of bland as well. My wife got the chocolate parfait. I had a taste and thought it was fabulous. Creamy with a great texture. My daughter got the same thing. My son-in-law got a slice of tiramisu, but he ate it later and I didn't get a chance to ask him how he liked it. I will say it looked good. We went a little later in the day (actually, an hour before closing), so the selection was a bit drawn. Overall, I liked the place, but I would get something else next time. Magic happens here. I don't know how but everything here is delicious, you can't go wrong with anything you order. I will say that their tiramisu is the best I have ever tasted - fluffy and light but rich and flavorful at the same time. It's heaven in every bite. It's counter service, so you walk up, order and then pick up. They also have breakfast and lunch, not just the delicious pastry. The bagel was cold and the cream cheese was put on the side,. I ordered this to go as I do at every bagel shop and they always put cream cheese on the bagel. I love love love this place. I used to frequent this location years ago when it was a different restaurant. I was blown away by the changes and the overall presentation. I placed my order to go but this space was warm and inviting. I'll definitely return to dine in. The lit display of desserts and pastries draws you in and the courteous service keeps you. I was immediately greeted and given the a brief walkthrough of the ordering process. We started with the sandwiches, moved on to pastries, then we chose a beverage. There was no line when we arrived but the line was pretty extensive as we were leaving. We chose the avocado toast and the open face salmon and egg, both of which were delicious. Its such a shame to have to write this as my wife and I used to really enjoy Everyday Market. We've been regulars there for months now. Our favorite breakfast sandwich was the Brie and Apricot Croissant sandwich with Ham added to it. Then about two months ago, they started falling off in quality. Every time we ordered the sandwich they'd forget something different. We'd get apricot and ham but no brie. Then we'd get ham and brie but no apricot. Then we'd get brie and apricot but no ham. On and on. It was almost pathological, like the people in the kitchen had a mental block on how to make this one sandwich right. Finally, after about 4-5 times of them getting the sandwich wrong, I went back and complained. A young kid behind the counter apologized and gave me a gift card for $15 off our next visit. Then the next time I went in was Sunday Sept 7 at 10 am. I made sure to say - extra apricot - since it was the ingredient they forgot most and saying that might help. The cashier was kind of rude saying "oh we remember you." She said she wouldnt accept my gift card for some reason. She kept saying it was declined. I asked the cashier to get the kid who had given it to me and thankfully he remembered me. But it was nerve wracking to have been given a gift card and then have it denied. Finally I got the sandwiches and AGAIN they put no apricot on the sandwich at all. They did put a small plastic container of jam on the side, so I guess they took the "extra apricot" to mean NO APRICOT at all but with an extra side container of jam. I asked them to remake it again and they took the sandwiches to the back of the kitchen where I couldn't see them. They had never done this before. They brought them back smothered in jam, but I was very concerned as to why they had to take the sandwiches away where I couldn't see what they were doing. My wife and I are convinced they took them in the back to spit on them or worse. Needless to say we did NOT eat the sandwiches, and as much as I hate to say it, we will NEVER be coming back to Everyday Market again. read more

Love love love a local coffee shop but this one exceeded all expectations! Stopped in here on a whim and it was on my way. Barista and I'm assuming owner/manager were so friendly! They informed me all of there good looking pastries & food items were made in house (even the bread). The only thing they didn't make was the macaroons-imported from France so they must be tasty. I went with a hot Irish white chocolate latte. It was soooo good and the flavor wasn't over powering or too sweet, just right. I was also hungry but not in the mood for sweets so I went with the lox toast with eggs and cheese. Holy cow was it delicious! The bread had a slight crisp but also melted in your mouth. I will be back for that toast alone (wether it's on my way or not). This place is a good coffee date spot, snack spot, wine date spot. They have a whole wall full of wines and other goodies you can take home (pastas, sauces, the works). This seems like the type of place where a lot of thought, love and care was put into it. We really enjoyed visiting this local cafe who made us a delicious lavender latte and caprese sandwich. It is just so cozy, with lots of interesting things in every wall and lots of interesting people and families coming through that are just fun to watch and look at. They have a case of desserts, we had a pear and Brie croissant that was good. It's a nice breakfast/brunch spot especially on a rainy day... There is order up service and plenty of nearby free street parking. Our latte was so fragrant and the sandwich was really fresh tasting with a really tasty bread which I wish I knew what kind it was! They are sooooooooo delicious!! As a cinnamon roll connoisseur (self proclaimed) some cinnamon rolls are too hard, some are not cooked enough, some are too sweet and some are too sweet and far too messy. These were perfect. The dough was cooked so that it's light and flaky all the way through. The (I'm assuming) cream cheese filling was consistently and just enough. I HOPE AND ACTUALLY PRAY they keep this on the menu.
