My favorite is their hazy IPA, but I have tried all of them. They always have great food trucks available and snacks inside. The interior is very clean and cozy. We love to sit at the bar. The outdoors gets crowded on a beautiful afternoon, but there is always plenty of room to sit and enjoy the beautiful farm. We will definitely go back. I would highly recommend this place.

The beers were all light and flavorful, there will certainly be something for everyone in your group. Upon receiving our beer, we went to sit outside and listen to the live entertainment. The man singing and playing the guitar and keyboard had a fun personality and clearly wrote many of his songs. This ever-talented man, after one of his songs, thanked us for coming out and shared that he is the owner of the farm and brewery and that we were experiencing the fruits of 13 years of work by him and his wife. How incredible! Not only is this a beautiful story of a family living the dream, it also made me want to return and spend more time there. There are plenty of chairs and picnic tables to sit at while enjoying your beverages and the music, but we saw an older couple bring their own chairs, which we thought was a good idea. In addition to the by-owner music, they have a variety of board games available to play, along with several bags sets. It's also a dog-friendly spot. So that forces patrons to choose the "run a tab" option even if just dropping in for one beer. Problem 2: This policy feels needlessly suspicious and hostile, as if USB doesn't trust their (almost exclusively well-heeled) clientele to pay. And this isn't some busy NYC bar where people occasionally walk on tabs. And bowhere else I've been in Hudson does this. If Governor's or Padrona tried it, regulars would look at the server like an extraterrestrial. Management might want to take a chill pill and try trusting their patrons more; Hudson is still a small town. Take the order, do a good job, give us a bill when we're ready... After the drinks and food are finished.

I have seen them frazzled a time or two when it's really busy which is understandable. All in all it's good service both bar tenders and other staff that is working hard cleaning up tables ams sweeping to make sure the tables are ready for the next round of people. Also to note this is not table service. You go to the bar and order your food and either pay there or open a tab. They then bring out your food to you. You can also get beers to take home and other merchandise such as shirts, jackets, and some packaged food items. It very family friendly! Every time I come I see tons of families here, which is nice. Oh and the last thing to note the bathrooms are always clean!!! Which is something I really appreciate about any place that is serving food and drinks.

They had a lot of interesting beers on tap. I tried their raspberry sour, which was super refreshing. My fiance got a style of beer he had never heard of, which if you know him, is not common. It was their Fountain Skibsol Smoky Ale, which is a low ABV Danish dark ale with an intense smoky flavor. It was great and we both loved the smokiness of the beer. We snagged a spot at one of their outdoor picnic tables and it was such an enjoyable evening. They had string lights outside and everyone we interacted with was so friendly. Definitely recommend West Kill for a great atmosphere and good brews!
