    FRIED PICKLES
    Dimpie S.

Excellent place for groups! Accommodated group of 13 without reservation and got every order and drink right. The drinks were great with a good pour. The fried pickles were the star of the show. Falafel burger was okay and a little dry. But honestly the service and drinks made this place the winner. I would recommend people to come here because you won't get better servers elsewhere

My goodness I can't wait to come back here! Wonderful staff, amazing food and drinks, great music and atmosphere all around!

My fiance and I went out to broadway to celebrate NYE in Nashville and stumbled upon this place late at night looking for more than a hotdog. These burgers/sandwiches did not disappoint! The truffle burger was perfectly cooked and I would go as far to say it was one of my top burgers I've ever had. The secret sauce was a tasty added touch with the fries. The fish and chips were very tasty! I loved the fresh dill and tartar sauce. Just dressed it with a little lemon squeeze and it was sooo good! Service was great and fast! We were seated right away! Tables and restaurant were clean. The milkshakes also looked great but were too full to try!

In town for a work conference, and tried to find something good to eat and decided to come here. The pictures of the milkshakes took me away lol. Upon arrival we were seated immediately. The restaurant wasn't too packed. Our waiter was very nice and helpful. The restaurant was a good size and played good music. The Brussel sprouts were a little harder than i like them, however the sauce they came with was good. I also got a crispy chicken sandwich, which i forgot to get a picture of but the dill mayo or sauce it came with was so good. The sandwich could've been a little crispier, however it was still good. The fries were cooked amazingly as well. The right amount of crispy. The milkshakes were bomb, however the amount of whipped cream was overkill.

Good service, food, location, and atmosphere. Lots of different seating options, drinks, and food. Loved everything we got.

I came to Nashville for a work conference, and this place was recommended to us by one of our colleagues. It exceeded my expectations. The food is great, the portions are generous, and the staff are attentive. Overall Ratings Restaurant 5/5 Service 5/5 Food 5/5 Parking: Street parking Atmosphere: Love the décor and cleanliness. The space has a lively energy without feeling overwhelming, and the layout makes it easy to enjoy a meal whether you're with a group or dining solo. Service: The service was excellent. Staff are friendly, attentive, and quick to check in without being intrusive. They handled our group well and made sure everyone had what they needed. What We Ordered: Our team ordered various burgers, but I personally ordered the Black Truffle Burger. Cooked perfectly (medium). Sauces are great. Portion, as mentioned, is very generous, and the fries are fresh and a good size. Final Thoughts: I would definitely go again if I ever visit Nashville again.

This spot was really hyped up by friends for being high quality burgers, sides, and incredible shakes but sad to say I thought the food was extremely mediocre. My friend and I were looking for dinner after an evening of cocktails and this was nearby with no wait to sit at the bar on a Thursday night around 7. (There was a wait for a table.) Service was fast, and but the first thing that kind of irked me was the whole restaurant just seemed kind of unclean. Our countertop still had ketchup and some stray sauce stains from whoever had been there earlier and the floor just seemed quite dirty. Gave me a bit of the ick before I even had a bite. My friend got the wagyu burger and I opted for chicken tenders and fries. We both got beers with that (will say - they have a decent selection of local brews on tap for okay prices.) It's downtown, so I expect for everything to be overpriced, but the quality felt like airport kiosk rather than a restaurant really known for this type of food. The fries portion is as very generous, but execution is as below average: not very crispy, felt like just made from a frozen bag. The breading on the fried chicken was a bit flavorless and it didn't have enough crunch to me. The dipping sauces were good but a little sweet for the bbq option. My friend liked the wagyu burger, but noted it didn't feel particularly special or mind blowing in a town with a lot of burgers. We were very hungry when we arrived, so being able to get food quickly with kind service, was a win, but wouldn't want to come back and/ or consciously make a decision to have this food again, especially at such high prices. Lot of better burger places even with a block or two (for the same insane price of almost $30.)

First time at this restaurant and will not be the last time! While volunteering for a non-profit work near the restaurant I meet one of the employee, his name was Clarence and everything Clarence said about this restaurant was true, the food, atmosphere, cleanliness of this restaurant and for me and my group that's was expected and we received that and more!! Danny the manager was very customer service friendly and I appreciate him listening to me about how his employee Clarence impressed us about visiting this magnificent restaurant. Our waiter was Jason, he was good but we had to wait on him to received our bill and our food boxed, he apologized, also there was a free ice cream event going on, Jason our waiter didn't informed us of that, but Beverlean the host took great care of us, she went over and beyond providing us with that great treat! Please visit Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer, they will not disappoint you.

Came for snacks and a shake. The staff was amazing. So accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. The location is just off of Broadway so it's not as noisy as the spots right on the main drag. Highly recommend.

Diner vibes with quality food! Our server Brooklyn was extremely friendly offering all of her suggestions to help narrow down our dinner choices. The food was incredible! I'm usually a plain burger kinda girl, but I tried the Tennessee Burger and holy cow it was cooked perfect, piping hot and hit the spot in every way.

    Dark N' Spicy cocktail

A great restaurant close to Broadway in downtown Nashville! The staff were very friendly and attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommended the dark N' spicy cocktail, the hot fried pickles (definitely have a spicy kick, but their buttermilk ranch is so good!), and the truffle cheese fries, but not sure you could go wrong with anything on the menu. My only regret is not trying out their milkshake bar, but we were so full! We also had a glamour & vice cocktail (passion fruit with vanilla notes), their buttermilk chicken tenders, a Caesar salad, queso and chips, and the Hot chicken sandwich (so many leftovers!)

Stopped in after bar hopping all day, and so happy we did! The fun started with the awesome hostess! The staff is wonderful and fun! Food was perfect after a long day on Broadway!! I'd go back just to see the hostess again! She was AWESOME! If you're looking for a fun place to grub, this is it!!

Stoke Haus Brewing & BBQ is hands down the best BBQ experience of my life!…read more A few helpful tips before you go: parking is a little limited right in front and the entrance is easy to miss. There is additional parking around the side in an open lot that felt safe, was free (at least currently), and was super convenient. Once you arrive, walk around the left side of the building and order inside at the bar. They'll give you a pager, and when your food is ready, you'll head outside to the food truck for pickup. When we first walked in, I have to admit I thought, "What is that smell?" Then I realized it was the giant brewing vats and the smell of the beer-making process. Once I connected the dots, I actually started appreciating it and felt it added to the experience and the authenticity of the brewery. We tried their signature beer, a quality dark ale that paired perfectly with our meal. It had a great depth of flavor and was the perfect complement to the BBQ. For food, we ordered and split: Half order of ribs: incredibly tender with a crispy, flavorful top. They were packed with flavor and came with two dipping sauces. I preferred the BBQ sauce over the Carolina-style sauce, but both were enjoyable. Brussels sprouts: OH MY GOODNESS. I genuinely did not know vegetables could taste this good. Even my veggie-hating partner loved them, which honestly says everything. These were a standout. Mac & cheese: visually, this was beautiful and looked like it was going to be a favorite. Unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the way I expected and wasn't as satisfying as I hoped. THE BRISKET BURGER = THE STAR OF THE SHOW! I have never had a brisket burger before, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but this was phenomenal. The Gouda cheese was incredible, and the combination of the mayo, pickles, and sauce created the perfect balance of flavors. It was everything you want in a burger and more. This is the dish I will be telling everyone about. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was fantastic. They have board games in the back, and it looks like they host karaoke nights, which gives the space a really fun, community-oriented feel. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, welcoming, and helpful. Honestly, there was nothing to complain about. Great food, great beer, great people, and a unique experience. Stoke Haus is a must-visit and if you go, do yourself a favor and order the brisket burger. You won't regret it.

We needed to eat before beginning our 2 hour drive home. I wanted BBQ but not from a chain. Not…read moresomewhere with a shiny sign, rocking chairs on the front porch, a front porch. You know the places I'm talking about. No, I wanted somewhere authentic. In a neighborhood, not near the mall. A place most people would drive past. Stoke Haus is all this and more. Much more. 2pm on Sunday and the parking lot was full. (I'm sure a good handful was for the liquor store next door). The first issue - how do you get in?? There is no front door. There is a tall wooden fence on the side of the building. I peek through the gap between the fence and the wall. A long smoker, a pile of wood, a small food truck (what???). I see a couple leaving the building by a side door. This must be it. There is a sign taped to the door: order at the bar and pick up at the truck. Following instructions, we approach the bar. The couple next to me just got their food. OMG. That looks so good. I ask what they have...brisket, a pulled pork sandwich, German potato salad, cole slaw, fried okra and a little pile of pickles and marinated onions. I don't even look at the menu. "I want that" I tell the bartender. We each order a beer (I forgot to mention that this is a brewery too). We received our beer and a buzzer, found a table and proceeded to play on our phones until the buzzer went off. My husband went outside to the food truck and came in with a metal tray nearly overflowing with food. We didn't waste a second digging in. The brisket was incredibly tender with a most amazing bark. A little too fatty, even for brisket, but still a "must order". The sandwich was absolutely stuffed with tender, juicy pulled pork. Perfection. The sides, especially the potato salad were excellent (though the okra wasn't made from scratch, it was still worthy). The pickles? That final little "oomph". Our meal wasn't just a home run, it was a grand slam! I've written a lot of reviews. I've written a lot of 5 star reviews. I'd love to be able to give Stoke Haus 10 stars. This is definitely a don't miss!!
