A great bar with a lot of room to move about the building. Prices are a bit high for basic beers though. Came here with a large group. We made it in pretty quick and got drinks to go stand somewhere near the stage. Overall it was a pretty good experience. There seemed to be an excessive amount of early 20s people spilling drinks everywhere and a couple people fighting in the bathroom. I might be too old for this place lol!

Great venue. Reasonably priced drinks. Excellent rooftop view. The live performance that I saw was solid. They even played "Save Me" which was more than fitting. We had an employee who wasn't server, take our drink order as nobody in our section ever showed up. She gave us great service and definitely made us feel welcomed. A couple of cons was that the tax on the drinks was pretty outrageous. Almost $8 in tax for a $32 drink order was definitely shocking coming. If it was a service charge or live performance charge which was already added into the bill, it would've been less surprising. Not sure if taxes are weighed that heavily with alcohol in Tennessee but if it is, it'd be nice to know in advance for tourists. Overall, it was a decent time. 4/5

Wow! I'm thinking this is actually a steel structure with the steel covered by wood? Idk this building is massive and the beams.. wow! It's neat. N the music was great.

Wow - just wow. My aunt is a massive Jelly Roll fan and wanted to come here after my cousin and I ran the Nashville Marathon to celebrate. My biggest issue was the staff and the service. Both were horrible. After sitting, it took forever to get our drinks and food took forever to come out. My mom ordered a beet salad which they made with no beets, all the food was cold, staff couldn't tell if anything was gluten free once we got everything and we never got checked on after getting our food. We were supposed to get a discount for having run which the waitress "forgot" about which one applied, saved us over $80. We paid $400 for mediocre food, abhorrent service, and a waitress who had a bad attitude. Would never come back like what?

Came here for a late lunch and to listen to some music. There were a couple tables open so we grabbed one right by the stage. The server came by with menus and told us there was a water station at the end of the bar. I ordered a strawberry mocktail which was a bit sour for my liking. They have many items marked on their menu with GF but I didn't see any GF reviews online so I asked how everything was prepped. The server confirmed all GF items have a separate prep area. I ordered the K&A salad which was delicious but a very big portion. Then my friend and I shared a GF cheese pizza. The crust was perfect! Def a great place to check out!

We stopped by during our trip to Nashville, and unfortunately it just wasn't a very memorable experience. The atmosphere was decent, and the music was good, but nothing really stood out compared to the many other bars in the area. The drinks were probably the biggest disappointment. I ordered the frozen espresso martini, and it wasn't very enjoyable. Considering the price and the reputation of Nashville's bar scene, I expected something better. The bar was also very crowded, and there was quite a bit of waiting involved. Like many Nashville bars, there are several flights of stairs to navigate, which may be worth keeping in mind. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but there are definitely other bars in Nashville that offer better drinks, a more enjoyable atmosphere, and a better overall experience.

So I didnt try food but this place is a vibe. Good drinks, lots of options, service and entertainment was great. We stayed on the 1st floor but saw signs about Bunnies place being on the 2nd floor and a tattoo shop possibly on the 3rd. I had fun. It was nice being able to grab a table in the back and just chill with good music.

This review is based solely on the aesthetics and decor of the place. We did not eat or drink just because it was so crowded. We went to the next bar the rotating skulls downstairs and upstairs on the balcony were very appealing and it had lots of seating and great view of the city.

Jelly Roll's felt bigger than a lot of the other clubs on Broadway. The first floor was absolutely rocking--packed with people and a great live band keeping the energy high. By contrast, the third floor had a totally different vibe: no band, just a large open space filled with tables, groups hanging out, and plenty of drinks flowing. The third floor was surprisingly spacious and could handle a big crowd, making it a nice change of pace from the jam-packed first level. Drinks were tasty (but honestly, what alcohol beverage isn't?). All in all, Jelly Roll's offers both high-energy live music and a more laid-back spot upstairs, giving you options depending on your mood.

There was a live band. The food was great. Our waitress was spectacular. I would come back to this location again.

Buddy's Backroom at Jelly Roll's Goodnight is a hidden gem. Reservations were easy using the OpenTable app, and while finding the restaurant was a bit tricky, that's part of the fun of a true backroom spot. The doorman pointed us in the right direction and we were on our way. We were immediately greeted by Dustin, who was our host, bartender, and server--and he absolutely nailed it. Friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We shared the Sweet Potato Poutine to start. The cheese could've been a little more melted, but it was still very good. I ordered the Predator'Za and it was pure cheesy goodness--loaded with meat and flavor. I couldn't even finish the 10-inch pizza. My wife had the Fish and Chips and shared a bite with me; the fish was perfectly flaky with no fishy taste at all. The vibe really stood out. The space was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, especially with a rocking honky-tonk just downstairs. It felt like a calm escape right in the middle of Broadway. Highly recommend Goodnight Nashville and Buddy's Backroom. Like Arnold says, "I'll be back!"

Stoke Haus Brewing & BBQ is hands down the best BBQ experience of my life!…read more A few helpful tips before you go: parking is a little limited right in front and the entrance is easy to miss. There is additional parking around the side in an open lot that felt safe, was free (at least currently), and was super convenient. Once you arrive, walk around the left side of the building and order inside at the bar. They'll give you a pager, and when your food is ready, you'll head outside to the food truck for pickup. When we first walked in, I have to admit I thought, "What is that smell?" Then I realized it was the giant brewing vats and the smell of the beer-making process. Once I connected the dots, I actually started appreciating it and felt it added to the experience and the authenticity of the brewery. We tried their signature beer, a quality dark ale that paired perfectly with our meal. It had a great depth of flavor and was the perfect complement to the BBQ. For food, we ordered and split: Half order of ribs: incredibly tender with a crispy, flavorful top. They were packed with flavor and came with two dipping sauces. I preferred the BBQ sauce over the Carolina-style sauce, but both were enjoyable. Brussels sprouts: OH MY GOODNESS. I genuinely did not know vegetables could taste this good. Even my veggie-hating partner loved them, which honestly says everything. These were a standout. Mac & cheese: visually, this was beautiful and looked like it was going to be a favorite. Unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the way I expected and wasn't as satisfying as I hoped. THE BRISKET BURGER = THE STAR OF THE SHOW! I have never had a brisket burger before, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but this was phenomenal. The Gouda cheese was incredible, and the combination of the mayo, pickles, and sauce created the perfect balance of flavors. It was everything you want in a burger and more. This is the dish I will be telling everyone about. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was fantastic. They have board games in the back, and it looks like they host karaoke nights, which gives the space a really fun, community-oriented feel. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, welcoming, and helpful. Honestly, there was nothing to complain about. Great food, great beer, great people, and a unique experience. Stoke Haus is a must-visit and if you go, do yourself a favor and order the brisket burger. You won't regret it.

You know the places I'm talking about. No, I wanted somewhere authentic. In a neighborhood, not near the mall. A place most people would drive past. Stoke Haus is all this and more. Much more. 2pm on Sunday and the parking lot was full. (I'm sure a good handful was for the liquor store next door). The first issue - how do you get in?? There is no front door. There is a tall wooden fence on the side of the building. I peek through the gap between the fence and the wall. A long smoker, a pile of wood, a small food truck (what???). I see a couple leaving the building by a side door. This must be it. There is a sign taped to the door: order at the bar and pick up at the truck. Following instructions, we approach the bar. The couple next to me just got their food. OMG. That looks so good. I ask what they have...brisket, a pulled pork sandwich, German potato salad, cole slaw, fried okra and a little pile of pickles and marinated onions. I don't even look at the menu. "I want that" I tell the bartender. We each order a beer (I forgot to mention that this is a brewery too). We received our beer and a buzzer, found a table and proceeded to play on our phones until the buzzer went off. My husband went outside to the food truck and came in with a metal tray nearly overflowing with food. We didn't waste a second digging in. The brisket was incredibly tender with a most amazing bark. A little too fatty, even for brisket, but still a "must order". The sandwich was absolutely stuffed with tender, juicy pulled pork. Perfection. The sides, especially the potato salad were excellent (though the okra wasn't made from scratch, it was still worthy). The pickles? That final little "oomph". Our meal wasn't just a home run, it was a grand slam! I've written a lot of reviews. I've written a lot of 5 star reviews. I'd love to be able to give Stoke Haus 10 stars. This is definitely a don't miss!!

However, a voice came from the bar area with directions. We chose to to the flight. The choices were selected with a little help from the bar. They came out pretty quickly. The tasting started and it out of 5, only one did not have a nasty and strong hoppy/bitter after taste. The select were Passion fruit, Hippies and Cowboy, Southern Wit, Urban Hiker, and Wildwood. As we spent our time no one seem to as if we needed anything or if our selection were ok. We got some "why are you in here type" looks. I was not impressed by this brewery. The customer service and my sensing of being not welcome was high. Note we were the only patrons. I would not return.
