Stopped in last night to pick up some dinner to go. Got the spaghetti & meatballs and the fettuccine w/ chicken. Spent a few minutes in good conversation with the owners and even after getting home, putting the kids to bed and finally sitting down to eat, it was delicious! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and like Italian food. I had the chicken Parm while my wife had the Italian Mac'n'cheese. Both were great. I liked the environment inside the restaurant and the waitress we had was good at what she does. Good selection of local beers as well as your standard line up. This place is beyond amazing! Since they opened two weeks ago I've been in almost every day! The Cuban and turkey sandwiches are utterly sublime as is the atmosphere and the chef and waitress (Rob and Luanne) are equally fantastic. Overall my experience has never fallen short of 5 stars. On a side note it's pretty cool that they infuse their water with cucumbers to add some nice flair and variety. Will most certainly return regularly for more delicious eats! read more

Stopped after scenic byway tour of Idaho road 456, after 30 miles of gravel, hairpin turns and 1 way bridges we were ready for some lunch! Stopped in and tried the jalapeno popper sandwich and huckleberry shake. This is a cute small restaurant open until 3pm. Owner operated and they were a pleasure. Stop by there while exploring Wallace. Had the Turkey sandwich with bacon jam and girlfriend had the BLT. Sandwiches were excellent and prepared and served by the owners. They were very friendly and even recommended places to visit in town. Cool funky artwork on the walls as well. A must stop if you are hungry and in the area. read more

My husband and I stopped in here after reading great reviews in Yelp. It was so good. I had the Southwest Turkey Club. The flavors were amazing. He had the Cuban sandwich and it was much better than the one we've had in Key West. The service was very friendly. She checked with us several times to make sure we were happy and even offered a refill on coffee as we left, changing to a to-go cup. We will look forward to stopping in there again as we get through Wallace a few times each year. read more

This place is so great! It's small & simple. Very friendly service-- just from observing, I think it's a cute family owned business. Their sandwiches are DELICIOUS. Stopped by to grab sandwiches on our way to ride the Hiawatha Trail. The pulled pork cuban was soo delicious! The mesquite turkey also a hit. The bread was perfect for sandwiches, it had a light crust that gave way to chewy deliciousness. This is our favorite restaurant in Silver Valley and we go there for dinner whenever we are in town. The service and food are always excellent. On our most recent trip I had the filet which was so scrumptious. Truly one of the best filets I have ever had including at places like Daniel's, John Howie and Ruth Chris. It really can't be beat! Blackboard cafe is a fantastic restaurant with the sweetest staff. The menu has options for a variety of food options and the inside is very cutely decorated. Charming little cafe with delicious food and great service. We stopped in Wallace twice on a recent road trip and Blackboard was our favorite spot. Wow. My wife and I found our way last week to Wallace for a short getaway and to the Blackboard Cafe for dinner. She had been to the Blackboard with the kids last year and had a great lunch, so it was an easy call to give the dinner menu a try. Best Turkey sandwich ever!!!! Our tour group picked up take out lunch here and I had the turkey sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised how delicious it tasted. I notice it had a special sauce on top with bits of bacon. When I got back to our hotel, I called the restaurant to find out what the sauce was. They told me it was maple bourbon bacon marmalade.
