I do not recommend this location. We had an appointment for my fiancé for our wedding. This was our first time looking for suits for him. We walked in and were met with an employee and he checked us in for our appointment. We explained what color we wanted etc and the employee got his manager, Danielle, so she could give us more information about custom suits. The first thing she said to us in a condescending tone was "Why do you need a custom suits". We asked if my fiancé could try on different sizes to feel what was more suitable/comfortable for him. She handed us different sizes and did not show us where he the dressing rooms were. She then went to help another customer. My fiancé also tried to explain to her that the suit jacket did not fit properly. Then the manager went on to tell him that's how all suits fit (which is not true). We felt like she didn't want us to make a purchase or even be there. Her attitude was very cold towards us. We decided to just leave as she was not helpful at all. However, we did go to another store location in Burlington MA and was greeted with kindness and professionalism unlike the Peabody location. read more

Terrible experience. We had an appointment and arrived a few minutes before it to get checked in. After checking in, we were sent to another person who would be working with us throughout our appointment. Unfortunately, he ignored us for about 15 minutes. A line was forming behind us of people waiting for their scheduled appointment and to drop off suits for alterations. Then, people who arrived after us were acknowledged and assisted, while we stayed waiting. Finally, about 25-minutes after our schedule appointment time, we started to get help. When we said we wanted to go with a tan suit, the staff member assisting us did not hide his displeasure. We got as far as walking halfway toward the suits when he left us waiting in the middle of the store to go help other people. It would have been nice if he had finished getting us fully started before walking away again. We waited a few more minutes as he continued to help other people and then we decided to leave. 0/10, dont recommend. Giblees down the street is much better. Go there for your suit and tux needs! read more

Bought a dark gray Pronto Uomo suit here, and I had the suit altered with their tailor. The fit was fine, but whatever they did to it during the altering process caused the suit to pill and become fuzzy around the collar, seams, sleeves, and along the breast (look at the pictures I took in the dressing room to try it on for the first time with the tailoring). After paying $530 plus another $130 for the alteration, the suit should look new - like off the rack, not fuzzy. The manager had me bring the suit back in to show him, which I did, and he gaslighted me and said the suit looked fine to him and that this is what happens after they press it, which probably the problem since improper pressing can cause this very issue. After comparing it to another suit, he condescended me, and I was told to pluck the pills and fibers off. The tailor at this location thought the suits were different materials when I first brought the issue up and had a suit of the same type brought from off the rack for comparison. His story changed after he spoke with the manager of course, but he became embarrassed when I asked him point blank about what he said when he made the earlier comparison. I have a wedding soon and need the altered suit, so I couldn't return it. They really didn't offer a solution even though their tailoring of the suit caused the pilling. I asked for a refund of the tailoring and they did not provide it, hence the review. My two lessons here: First, this suit doesn't really seem very durable if a single pressing caused it to be this fuzzy and worn looking. I'm honestly worried what it will look like after wearing it. I've had Alfani suits from Macy's that are far cheaper and do way better (and still look better a decade later). The store manager and sales person continuously verbally reminded me of how cheap this suit was as an explanation for the pilling. Interestingly, when I came in originally to purchase the suit, the only thing I was interested in was the color (dark gray) -- the salesperson got this one and another off the rack, and this one looked nicer to me. Either way, clearly men's warehouse thinks it's cheap, so don't buy it (you can do better for cheaper at Macy's), if you're looking for a bargain. Honestly, maybe the salesperson should have had me try on a more expensive suit, but the ones that were picked were selected for color (and of course my body type), but if they know this is a cheap price and quality suit, why even show it? Second, don't get stuff tailored at Men's Wearhouse. I told the manager the suit looked like it was tumbled in a dryer with a blanket. While he assured me they didn't do that, he said they press everything. Not everything should be pressed, and even when things can be pressed, lots of things matter. Some things should just be dry cleaned. I've had stuff tailored and dry cleaned in Beverly. In fact my wedding suit was done there, and they were far cheaper from what I recall. If this location just presses everything as a part of tailoring, just avoid their tailoring. I got the tailoring at Men's Wearhouse hoping to save time. The tailoring was fine, but I'm convinced the pressing of my suit at this location used too much heat and friction, which I don't think would happen at a professional tailor and dry cleaner. So, while it seems like a convenience, I spent two hours driving back and forth to this location from elsewhere on the North shore, and I'm convinced I should have just taken it locally, and I wouldn't have ended up with a fuzzy suit. I spent over an hour going over this thing with a fabric shaver to get it passable for the wedding we're attending tomorrow. No suit should have this problem. The last four photos are where I've removed pilling (half of back left side of suit, from the sleeve, the entire suit front, and then of course the amount of pilling and fuzz removed. read more

They were annoyed I interrupted their daydreaming and only grudgingly helped me in as little as way they could. Store was empty both times, Saturday's, and I'm not at all surprised. Wow. I came to make an in store return, and had everything ready to go. Return bar code, tags intact ect. I was waiting in line with one other person in front of me with an awkward box for 15 minutes. Finally I put it down on the floor. About ten minutes later this man moved the box to the register at the other end of this store. This guy made me wait over 45 minutes while he helped and talked to this young kid about prom. I get he was the "only one that can take measurements" but what is 45 minutes to the 1 minute it took to return. Literally , one minute. There was One other associate in the store but he wasnt "allowed" to do returns. This is the poorest customer service and rudest employee I have ever encountered. I would never come back here for any of their cheap shit, not even if they were giving away for free. read more

I made an appointment to get help choosing out to wear because I have never bought a suit before and I found the whole process intimidating. I went in and they were incredibly rude and careless. Barely asked me any questions about what I wanted the suit for and just gave me a suit to put on. They didn't even ask if I liked the first one I put on or not and just assumed that I would get it. I had to put my foot down and told them what I didn't like about it and that ended up with me going to look at suits on my own. Still very intimidating. On Saturday February 8, 2025 at 11:10 am, came in at the store on 260 Andover st Peabody MA, as I entered staff member looked at me but no greetings at all. as I was proceeding to the cash register for returning an item. as soon as I went towards the register he ignored me and continued to act like he is doing something or busy, so I yell and said can I get help, as he was walking towards my direction, he starts talking to me from far away and saying to me What's up , what's up and is that how you greed customer who came to your store. For the third time he replied what's up with an attitude and I said to him what is your problem and what is this attitude towards me today. All I want to do was a return of an item. So he says to me while he is at the register you gave an attitude and I gave right back to you. Immediately I requested to speak with anyone else but him. I requested store Manger his response was " I am the store manager" and NEVER even I'm sorry store manger not here today but I'm the assistant manager. Again for the second time I requested for anyone else to help me but him and he refused to help me. I always shop at Menswear house Peobody on 114 Andover st. after today not so sure and probably never to shop there again. You have a major issues and you lost me as a customer and I willl NEVER come back. This was my store to go for over 20 plus years! Aaron is very RUDE , liar and very condescending ! I felt unwelcome, underappreciated, and rushed by an associate who was wearing AirPods and taking calls while I was trying to decide on my suit. If there is one piece of wedding advice I'd give you, it would be to NOT use Men's Wearhouse (at least in Peabody). They were consistent in failing at EVERY aspect of customer service. From the moment we walked in, they were extremely rude... after making an online appointment, we were told that "this doesn't work like bridesmaids" (meaning a group fitting). Once they decided they could wrap a tape measure around 6 guys "to fit them " on this booming Wednesday evening (and make a quick $1200+) they proceeded to make fun of the weight of Bob (groom's Dad) while fitting him (and actually talk badly about most of their customers who walked in). Groom's pants were at least 2 sizes too big... they couldn't rectify that so he bought his own pants, Bob's pants were stained, one groomsman's shirt didn't fit... I could go on and on... SAVE yourself the headache and go buy a suit at Macys... it will be cheaper and the suit will actually fit. I don't normally bash businesses, but this was truly an awful experience. I don't know how the Men's Warehouse managed to find only rude staff to work for them. Oh and the Manager didn't have 5 minutes today to hear about our experience. read more

I went to this store today to get a suit for my friends wedding. I requested help 4 times. The guy kept saying I'll get back to you, and he gave me a look like he was aggravated by me. If he was busy, that is fine. But 15 min later another person came in and he helped them. The person that came in was a white male and he helped them instead of me. I'm hoping it wasn't because I am a Spanish male. The reason why I came to that conclusion is because I saw another person there who was having the same trouble getting customer service and he was a Spanish person as well. My friend was going get us suits for his wedding in a month at this location but after I talked to him. We're no longer choosing this store. I'm very disappointed in this store. Paid for a CUSTOM tux, and tailor. The size was comically too large in literally every dimension, being too long, baggy, & wide in both the jacket & pants. I'd give ZERO stars if I could. We came back to this location after a really great experience for our own wedding in 2021 and to say we're disappointed and frustrated with our recent experience is an understatement. We expected pricing to go up, no big deal. They came in clutch with a mishap with a suit issue for a wedding my husband and I are both in and we were able to quickly order a custom suit. Same thing we did for our wedding. The measurements were very clearly off for the first round, and the staff convinced my husband the suit was fine. After reviewing pictures from previous suits we went back and with different staff, we're told we are right and had to order a second jacket. That was no cost of course and they said we would be keeping both jackets since they screwed up. That came in time, but we didn't get alerted and had to call with a week to spare to have it altered and pick it up. I didn't go with my husband to pick up after alterations and apparently should have because the sleeves weren't even, and they didn't even hem the pants. My husband had to take time off work the day we left for the wedding just to go get this figured out. They took about an hour and a half to finish the alterations. There's a younger male staff who has AirPods in his ear every time we go in who is consistently dismissive to females, short to respond, and is severely unfriendly. This place has really gone downhill in a short period of time and it's truly disappointing. We shouldn't be spending custom suit kind of money to be that inconvenienced. We're going to have to regroup for future weddings because I wouldn't send anyone I cared about here and we certainly won't be back. read more

I came here with my fiance to pick up a suit he had ordered as a groomsman. Upon walking into the store around 8pm, there were no other customers and 4 employees on the floor. None of the employees greeted us and yet we made eye contact with several of them. We proceeded to the back of the store where the dressing rooms were and asked one of the associates for help. He was a high-school-aged boy and didn't seem very eager to assist us. Throughout the process of trying on the suit, the associate didn't seem to care at all about asking how things were going, offer to get the stock shoes they typically give when trying on suits in-store, or seem at all helpful. My fiance and I will not be using Men's Wearhouse for our suits for our upcoming wedding, not because of the quality, but because of the lack of customer service all of their locations seem to possess. read more

This location has the most disgusting attitude towards women I've ever seen! First time I went in to this location I was going to look at the suit colors I had picked because I couldn't remember what they looked like. I was with my mother and it seemed like everyone was just sitting around goofing off with each other and could have cared less that we were there waiting to be helped. When someone finally did come over to help he seemed like it was the biggest inconvenience of his day that we were there. He didn't even know what he was doing. Couldn't pull up my booking number, couldn't find the suit jacket just for me to see, was very uninterested to help us in any way. Then fast forward to the other day, I went in with my fiancé to purchase suits for the little boys in my wedding because I knew they had the peanut butter collection in store and I was like eh I'll take a ride it will be much easier and whatever I'll give them another chance.. WELL boy was I wrong! The same people were there goofing off and talking to each other but this time they saw my fiancé and walk right past me without even saying a word and asked my fiancé how they could help him. Now I'm not a feminist and I really don't care about this stuff but I was actually baffled at how ignorant it was. My fiancé had not a clue what the suit was called or what sizes or what we were looking for. I quickly interrupted the man working and told him I was looking for the peanut butter collection, immediately I was met with I would probably have to order online because they probably don't have the color or size. Did I tell him what color I was looking for? Nope. Did he ask what size I needed? Nope. He reluctantly showed me what he had and no they didn't have what I was looking for but he didn't even know what sizes these suits were even available in, I had to tell him they did come in a size 1. I wouldn't have given that store my money even if they did have the size I needed. Absolutely disgusting. This is my second time and second location I am writing a review for which shouldn't be the case. Men's wearhouse... train your employees to actually want to make you money. As for anyone who had read this far do yourself a favor and only go to the Burlington MA location. That location actually likes their job and trains their employee to help everyone... not just men. read more

I chose the Peabody location for all my groomsman needs. This was one of the worst experiences ever. Just repeated careless errors over and over. It first started with them getting the incorrect color suit. Then they gave two of us the wrong size shirts. Then another person had child size shoes. So the experience was less than stellar. I walked in an there were about 6 people standing around. I went up to the man behind the counter who had ginger hair and told him the situation. He seemed SUPER uninterested in helping at all. He asked for my group number (not my name or anything). Luckily I am OCD and I had it ready. He entered it into the computer looked up and me and said, "Oh yeah that Jos A Banks and we don't handle that, you have to go through them." Then dismissed me like we were done. I was SHOCKED utterly shocked. I said I don't understand what you mean - I put everything in the event on YOUR page. Also, I did not order Jos A Banks but Joseph Abboud. He said "well they handle their own so..." I was just in shock and confused and questioned again. He turned the computer screen and said "see I can't bring it up" I looked at it and noticed he entered the wrong number. I told him and he entered it again correctly this time. He brought it up and just acted so much like I was a burden to be there. When it came to talk about the colors of vest/bowtie he pulled out a book and basically told me I was out of luck for what I wanted (online the color looked COMPLETELY different). The whole time he was giving me a burden and go away attitude. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. This is supposed to be the most important day and I felt like complete shit the whole time and leaving. I was going to order the tuxes and simply go elsewhere for the vests and ties but I am really rethinking using Men's Warehouse at all. I worked in service for many years, and even taught customer service at one company, and I was appalled at this nonchalant, burdened, and horrible service. I felt gross being in there and leaving. At this point I think I may simply buy all the tuxes for my wedding party at Macy's or somewhere else. I have six weddings in the next year alone, including my own, and I will be sharing my experience. They are extremely unprofessional and rude and literally made me feel like garbage. read more

A funeral is hard enough to prepare for. Finding none of my suits fit the Sunday before the 10 am service on Wednesday was a situation I was not prepared for. I looked for a rental place that might be able to help me and found Men's Wearhouse on 114 in Peabody. I walked in to a fairly busy place with a few customers and a couple salespeople. Mike D saw me and asked how he could help. He was already busy with someone and I was grateful he seemed to be a multi- tasker. I told him I needed a full suit for Wednesday morning and he told me that would be the earliest I could have a suit ready which would already be too late. Even before I mentioned my Mom had passed away I could tell he was thinking of how he could help me . He measured me up did some searching, gave me some things to try and kept at it until he found me an amazing combination of jacket, pants, shoes, shirt and tie! Then he went out back and arranged for the seamstress who was already busy to hem the pants for me which I am so grateful that she did. So less than 45 minutes after I aimlessly wandered into the unknown , Mike took me by the hand and dressed me to perfection . The best surprise to me was that I would own the suit for about the same price as a rental without having to pick it up and return it. I went in to get a suit for an upcoming wedding and saw that there were multiple suits from multiple designers on sale for $199.00. When I asked the salesman about this, He told me they didn't have any in my size. I'm 5,8", 202 lbs, about average size as you can be. So then after me picking out a more expensive suit, I showed him a coupon that is on the website for an extra $20.00 off purchase of $100.00 or more, and he told me it didn't apply to my suit, but try anyway (of course it didn't work I was told). So that's 0 for 2 on advertised savings that are posted on their website. I wouldn't recommend this store to anybody read more

I live in Saugus and used to shop at the Saugus location for convenience. I noticed that the store hasn't been as great lately and found out the previous manage Alex Haney moved to the Peabody location. I went there to get fitted for a suit I needed for a wedding party and Alex took great care of me. The whole staff is phenomenal. I was behind schedule getting the suit in time for the wedding and they still got it to me on time. Thank you so much Alex and the entire staff at the Peabody Men's Wearhouse. This is a big store right on 114. The store hosts mainly suits, dress shirts, and slacks. They used to have a big line of John and Feiss but no more. Unfortunately due to limiting selection and lack of selling Khakis, this store is only good for the suits and formal dressing. read more

I have had to use MW for multiple weddings, including my own. Every time there is at least one member of the wedding party who has a significant issue with the service at this location. At this particular location there are very friendly people who check you in, write you up, etc. Other people I know have had issues at other locations which leads me to believe that their systems are just a mess and it may not necessarily be the fault of the workers at each individual store. I have always found the workers to be friendly when getting fitted, trying suits on, and getting advice on sizing. In my most recent purchase from this store I was told that the jacket and shoes needed to be ordered for a wedding I was in since they were not in stock. I specifically asked to pick them all up at once to save a trip down 114. They called me and told me everything was in. I get there to just have the jacket, vest, and shoes available for me to try on. I had to come back to get the pants another day. When I asked the worker at the front desk why they couldn't have just waited until everything was in before calling me she was very quick to get an attitude and act as if I was inconveniencing her. She tried to pass the blame onto a coworker multiple times. Not sure if she is the manager of this store or not, but that is not very professional. I also needed to pick up a pocket square, tie, and shirt for the same wedding. All of these items were listed in the system for the person whose wedding I was attending. After getting fitted for the suit I was apparently removed from the system so they had to spend about 10 minutes looking up what the other items were. Again, it seems like the bulky system they use is what causes alot of the problems. They had all of the items in stock saving me a 3rd trip (thankfully). Unfortunately I will probably have to deal with MW again since there are so many locations that they are convenient for weddings that have people coming from various areas. I always cringe when I hear that I have to go in and get fitted for a suit or tux at MW. The suits/tuxes end up looking nice for any wedding, just be ready for a few headaches along the way. I have had a few smooth transactions with them, but too many have been painful to give them more than 2 stars. If they could be more organized I think I would actually enjoy getting nice clothes from them. read more

The clothes are decent quality but the prices are not. The salesmen are unfriendly and seem a little shady when you're trying to make a purchase, some tried to add unnecessary fees to my bill. Men's Wearhouse is good if you need a suit or tux fast and are willing to pay extra for it, but unless you feeling up to negotiating with pushy employees, you will get a better deal on the same clothes elsewhere. read more

DO NOT RENT A TUX FROM THIS PLACE!!!! I went it to rent a tuxedo for prom and had to wait about 40 minutes by a man more interested in getting to the next consumer than actually helping. I asked specifically for a slim fit and was assured that it would be slim through the leg. I asked him multiple times if they would be fitted through the leg and he said they would be. Come time for me to pick it up and when I try it on it looks like I'm wearing a Donald trump suit, nothing is fitted, the pants and absolutely no taper to them as I was told and the jacket felt like I was wearing a sack. When I complained to the manager he seemed utterly indifferent. Even a little condescending to me about it. He didn't offer any refund or reduction in price for lying to me about their products. It felt like I was entering a factory that didn't care about the actual product only tricking consumers into spending their money In conclusion I will not shop here again and I will make sure to warn every person I know about your misleading employees. read more

My complaint isn't with the people there because the staff I worked with was awesome, knowledgeable helpful and everything, just very under staffed. My guess is corporate only allows so many people working. My other complaint is you have to physically show up to put even a deposit in. You cannot pay over The phone or do it online which is incredibly inconvenient. For someone who is constantly in wedding parties my measurements haven't changed in years now and every single time I have to show up and placed $20 down because they don't allow people to pay over the phone.
