Occasionally she would leave me alone in her room with the tv and a pizza to babysit me, lol. As of late alot of ppl that grew up in the area anxiously awaited the return of Godfathers Pizza and upon its return the wait was for noting. It truly was, in my opinion , not the Godfathers we were expecting. So we went back to our favorite Anthony's. Which is a good pie and we enjoy it and I would recommend but upon passing by Abo's I told my wife we should give them a shot at our business because Friday night has become pizza night. My wife was open to it and readily stated well this is our new pizza place. We stopped in on a Saturday early afternoon for lunch . You order at the counter and our pie was delivered to our table in less than 15 min. !! Nice and piping hot. My wife also noticed that thier sausage is made in-house. There is never a reason to ask for extra cheese because it already comes on your pie. Take a chance and they do offer delivery if you fortunate enough to live in the area and also can walk in and order by the slice.

First, I always call to place my order, tonight I tried to call and the call disconnected after it was answered, no worries, things happen. I called back, got a message to hang up and order on line. Ok, so they are trying to direct calls to online, I get that. I ordered online, paid and was told it would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. That sounded right, so I headed out the door at about 5:37. 17 minutes later. Got there and the little lobby is full of people. I got to the front and gave my name, and they girl stated that it would be at least 15 minutes longer. I admit, I got flustered. I was hangry, I did not want to wait even longer, so I asked for a refund, well since I ordered online, they could not do it. They would have to call the slice people and have them issue a refund. I asked for a manager and we took it outside, She was very kind and explained that their "good" oven was down and could only cook 4 pizza's at a time. Ok, unfortunate, and she said she would make it right. We decided to wait. Now for a laugh, after I made a fuss, they finally came out and called my name, and guess what? It was the wrong pizza, LOL. At this point, i could only laugh. I even felt bad for them. I was committed to stay and get my favorite pizza, Anthony's special, no meatballs. So in light of all this, the only thing I can say is maybe full discloser on the phone orders, the wait time will be longer, I would have been ok with that. I would have just come later. I asked them to check and they went back came out didn't acknowledge me and started helping other customer! After 20 minutes go by I ask again and they bring them out very warm like they had been sitting for a while. Was just very unhappy with this visit probably won't be returning the prices are too high to be ignored by the staff!!!!!!!
