    Chicken Empanada

I keep hearing how great the food is here and I was finally able to try it myself! When we walked in, we were greeted quickly and seated. I decided to order the guava juice and it was so good! I also ordered a chicken empanada and that was also good. For my meal, my mom and I decided to split the Cuban chop chop which is a huge bowl that has rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, pork slices, and a yummy sauce. They were kind enough to split it for us and put it in two different bowls to make it easier to share. Even though this place is a little pricey, the food is definitely worth a try!

The first thing that stands out about this place is the friendliness of the staff. They say hello and smile the instant you enter. With today's fast-pace rat-race vibe for most people, this was refreshing. The atmosphere is also authentic. It's Miami Cuban themed. Despite this restaurant being small, it feels homey. As far as the food goes, the Chicken-Steak was exceptional. The white rice was just rice. Flavored rice would have been more satisfying. Maybe I ordered incorrectly on that. The tostada also didn't do much for me but I like that poppin' taste of a good bagel when it comes to bread products. Don't get the wrong idea, though. It was very easy to tell that their main dishes has tons of taste where the flavor pops! Focus on that, not bread and white rice. Also, they're going to be adding a bar here. A bar to go along with the restaurant during the day. And good music. Interesting and unique. Highly recommended.

Okay, so we've been here three times in the past 8 days; that should say enough! The food is the pest Cuban food we've had since Little Havana in Miami! Below is a link to my review on Google! You do not want to miss the awesome gem of a restaurant!!! https://maps.app.goo.gl/RZCFg2VQ2gte8x82A?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy

Delicious food cooked to order. Great service fast and friendly. A very fun chill vibe with the Miami decor and cuban music. Located in a small strip mall in Denver NC near Lake Norman. Our family loves this restaurant! Great prices for such delicious made to order meals. We love the breakfast!! They even have a full bar. Gourmet coffee and pastries

Recently we've been exploring local restaurants in our area and came across this hidden gem. They have a small but decent menu and a limited bar for drinks. The service was great and the food came out relatively quickly. It's a little small on the inside so I probably wouldn't recommend it for big parties but it's nice for couples or smaller parties.

The service was amazing! It was our first time at the restaurant & Lisa made it such a wonderful and fun experience. The music was popping! I tried the steak, fried pork, and loaded pork fries. Each entrée came rice and beans. We also had the mango drink and the guava and cheese pastries. Let me tell you everything was delicious and that's rare to find in one spot. I will definitely spin the Block.

Portions were significantly smaller and the ham croquetas were very disappointing. They definitely changed the way they made them. The ham in the croqueta was hard and tasted old and everything else did not taste like it was freshly fried and crispy. On the other hand, I ordered a cheeseburger, and that was amazing... I'm hoping to give it another shot one day, but it's not my first choice. The restaurant itself is very clean, service is very friendly and if you get the opportunity to sit outside on the patio, you will not be disappointed.
