The folks at Blagg are the best auto repair shop I have ever experienced! I have been taking my car here for 8 years and they've always done great work. Many repair places take advantage of female customers but they are always up front with what is wrong & how much it will cost. The first time I went in was with a car another shop quoted nearly $800 to fix...Blagg fixed the problem (extremely well) for under $500. I took my truck in to get a slow leak fixed on one of my tires....they were fast and friendly!!!! I'm between Duty Stations and when they brought me my keys they have completely discounted the charge for the tire because of me being in the military! I had a decent experience here. The price was reasonable and the people were friendly. They took a while to complete my vehicle but they are very busy. I did read a review from someone about the upsale when getting an alignment and sure enough they called me while working on my car trying to get me to spend a couple hundred more on some sort of "issue" with my car. I think that is just how these places work regardless though. Overall I would go back. read more

They tried to pull one over on my wife. She went in for oil change and they offered a 30$ special add in that afterwards they tried to charge 45$ for. Also said we needed a new battery. Our battery is only 3 years old and has a 5 year warranty from interstate. We have had 0 battery issues. Then when she went to pick up the car it wouldn't start. She went in to speak with them and they played all innocent while jumping the car off. I don't know what they did to my car but FUCK this place! read more

I recently had another tire store attempt to align my 1967 Shelby. I have a white interior and they wound up with grease all over it and he couldn't get the vehicle set to specification. I spent five hours there waiting as well. I called Blagg Tire at the recommendation of another vendor who was uncomfortable with working on the Shelby. I made an appointment and took the vehicle in. I dropped the car off and went and had lunch, returned and the car was all but complete. The mechanic had me drive it to confirm It handled and felt correct. I returned, was happy with the car. The mechanic verified all fasteners were tight and at spec and I was on my way! I was impressed at their attention to detail and understanding what they were working on and were very careful. I started taking my trucks and cars to blagg for oil changes soon after I moved into 925 apartments, about a year and a half ago. I knew about them in the past when I lived on some land and I would take my tractor tires up there to be repaired. 10 months ago I bought a 2005 Nissan pickup. The tires had extremely bad wear on the outlet parts on the tire. I decided to take my truck into blagg and purchase a complete set of new tires. When I bought the tires I told them to look over my truck and do whatever is necessary to keep my new tires from wearing like my old ones. After looking at it they informed me I needed an alignment too. I had them perform that work too. I work for myself and buying tires that were over a $1, 000.00 dollars was a big chunk of money so I had do what they said would keep my tires in good shape and last me as long as I can. From that point everything was professional and I left feeling satisfied with my purchase. 3 months after my new tire purchase I took my truck in for a oil change and tire rotation as they said I needed to do to keep my tires in good shape. I got the oil change and rotation, paid for it and left. Still a satisfied customer. This is where it started to raise my eyebrow on their work. 3 months later I took my truck in for another oil change and tire rotation. I left the truck there and about and hour after I get a call from Blagg telling me that one of my lug nuts were stripped and it would cost x amount of dollars to fix. Well, the only people who has touched my tires in the last six months were Blagg and if the lug nut was stripped it was caused by them. After talking to three different people and then the manager they agreed I shouldn't have to pay for it. That was the first bad taste in my mouth about Blagg. 4 months later I take the truck in for my next oil change and tire rotation. What shocked me was my new tires had started wearing just the same as my old tires.THE LAST TWO TIRE ROTATIONS, NOBODY SAID A WORD ABOUT THE EXTREME WEAR. NOT A WORD. That was the whole reason of purchasing my tires and performing tire rotations to keep my tires in shape. Well, at the 9 month mark the two in front were terrible shape the rear was on its way to being in bad shape. After talking and arguing with a few people I left. About three days later a manager called asked me to bring it in so he could look at it.I thought wow , they may make it right. They looked at my truck again and said my tie rods were bent and it would be x amount of dollars to repair. When I asked him what about my 8 month old tires he said he would pro rate two of them. I said I felt that all 4 of them should be pro rated since there was wear on all four tires and that they failed or just didn't care about what my new tires where doing during the tire rotation. He said he would talk with his tire rep and get back with me. Never heard another word from him. I own a small business my self and if I neglect something I am paid to do I will fix it and if I have to pay out of my pocket to make the customer happy. I am upset because I paid for a service that was half ass done. The only reason I think I was never informed of this was the tech's working there didn't care or they wanted my tires to wear quickly so I would have to buy more. read more

Made an appointment for alignment, showed up a little early, they got my truck back almost immediately. I watched a little judge Judy and dr Phil in the waiting area that had fresh coffee and water. This is not super common at smaller operations. The work took a little longer than expected due to the size of my vehicle (F250). The guy in charge wouldn't let me pay, said they were going to cover it since it took so long. This is a true sign of customer satisfaction coming first. VERY VERY RARE THESE DAYS. My husband and I were happy customers of Blagg for almost 3 years. Then we started noticing the dishonesty. In those first few years I would have said they were honest and I was a loyal customer. But then little things started happening that were red flags. I took my car elsewhere for a few rounds of maintenance (including a transmission flush or whatever it is called where they replace the fluid- which is supposed to be done every 30-45K miles I believe). At my next oil change/tire rotation after that, I took my car to Blagg. I left my car, and my husband and I went to eat lunch. The lady called me to tell me they suggested more services- low and behold, they were requesting a transmission flush because my transmission fluid was "dirty, dirty". My car was at 35-40k miles, so in my opinion they were just saying that because of the milage- I just had that done 5K miles prior. They also said my shocks were leaking. Since I sensed they were making up the transmission thing, I told them no I would take it somewhere else. So I took it to another mechanic to fix the shocks and he said nothing was wrong with them. So just to double check, I took it to the Toyota dealership and they said the same thing- nothing was wrong. I will never go back to Blagg or recommend anyone to them. My husband was the same way- he took in his truck and they were always great. Then about a week before my experience, he took his trunk in because it was not right. They did about $2,500 in repairs and we thought we were good. Then the next week (when we took mine in) his was acting up again so he took his too, so they could look at it again. And what do you know, they find another $2,500 worth of things- completely different than the week before. What I don't understand is how they didn't catch everything the first time?? Anyways, they repaired something (sorry I'm not good with car parts) and the next week his truck was not right again so he took it somewhere else cause by this point we were done with Blagg. They told him the problem was whatever that part was Blagg just replaced. So he went back to Blagg and made them fix it for free. This was also after repeated phone calls and emails that went unanswered. So just beware. read more
