Overall after reading reviews and coming in, doesn't seem like customer service is their thing but I guess if you just come in for an oil change you should be ok. Advertised price is misleading but I suspected it, since it said plus fees. You get charged an extra $17 for engine oil filter. So would be like $57 + if you have a bigger car, depending on how many quarts, it's extra. So my Chevy Colorado was about $71 full synthetic. But I'll say that's still a little cheaper than most places. read more

TERRIBLE experience on multiple occasions. We chose this place because it was supposed to be a veteran-friendly establishment. I took my car in about a year ago for an oil pan replacement, and I had to return it five times to get it truly fixed. I would not let a friend or family member take their vehicles to this location for anything. Save yourself the headache. I will do everything in my power to prevent others from going through this type of experience. Also, the management is very shady. We brought our car up to get it detailed right before Thanksgiving, and their car wash machine stripped the paint off our Escalade. I paid $140, and they gave it back with approximately $3000 in damage to the paint on the hood. The supervisor was uncooperative, and they refused to provide us with the owner's information to discuss the issue. They also refused to provide us with their insurance information, so we were unable to file a claim against their insurance. NEVER, NEVER bring your car here. read more

I've been driving my dog around in the car and her hair was every.where. With my parents coming in town this weekend, I wanted to make sure the interior of my car was nice and clean. I started looking for interior detail options and came across Kwik Kar Wash on Groupon. I had read many reviews for various Groupons and other special offers and sometimes people mentioned surprise additional costs, so I decided to call the business. The guy I spoke to on the phone was transparent and told me I could expect $20-25 extra for dog hair. I thanked him and hung up, but then I quickly realized that today was the best day for me to get this done before this weekend. I called back and asked if I could come now. They told me to go ahead. I drove over and someone walked over to my car and took a look. He told me he could try to get 90% of the dog hair and that there would be that extra charge for the hair. I was glad I called because now this was not a surprise. I called a Lyft to get home around noon and I got a phone call at 3:24pm. I was in meetings and couldn't answer. I called back at 4 and was told my vehicle is ready. M came home early from work to drive me to pick up my car. I was impressed. I would say they got more than 90% of the dog hair, and they did a really great job on everything interior. The seats and carpets had been vacuumed and shampooed and all of the surfaces inside were wiped down and shiny. I bought this car in March 2021 and I don't think it has looked this good the entire time I have owned it. I wish I had taken before and after photos. This man came around and explained how to prevent it from caking on again, and proceeded to SHOW ME BY DOING IT HISSELF HOW TO REMOVE IT! The customer service inside was awesome! Shout out to my fellow indoor smoke hater Michelle! She's the best! They did my vehicle inspection quick fast and in a hurry, while also keeping me happy by shooting the breeze while I waited. I just had the worst experience attempting to have a professional service completed at this establishment. I paid a for a full car detail at Kwik Kar in Grapevine, TX and it was a terrible experience and service. It was described as a full car detail of the inside and outside of the car. I booked an appointment and brought my car in at the set time. I was told it would take 2 - 4 hours. Well, I was called 4.5 hours later and told it was ready, I returned to the Kwik Kar to pick it up. I was told the key was in it and it is ready. Well, when I walked out to it, it was missing the floor mats. So, I went back in and informed the manager of this. He went out and then came back a little later and said now it is ready. Well, I went back out and could see that the tire rims had not been cleaned. So, I grabbed a rag and cleaned them myself. Then, I walked around the vehicle and could see dead bugs all over the front grill and the side mirrors. It was as if they just drove it through the wash one time on the lowest setting. So, I wiped down the dead bugs myself. There were water spots everywhere. The windshield looked as if it was cleaned on the inside with a dirty rag and there were streaks everywhere. At this point, I just wanted to be done with this location and leave due to how frustrated I had become at this lack of professionalism. Well, my key was not in the car. I went back and informed the manager of the incomplete work that I just completed and that the key was missing. He went out to talk to the worker and when I walked back out, he said that the worker decided to stop working on my car and started working on another car and told him it was done. The manager just says, next time you are here let me know and I will give you a free drive thru car wash. He did not offer another detail or to properly remedy the situation. Additionally, since I left there, I have noticed that they did not even put the floor mats back properly, just shoved one in the trunk. There is dust all over the dashboard, the list goes on and on. So, I basically got my car vacuumed out and it took 5 hours and cost $$$. I will never be patronizing this location. read more

Unprofessional. After waiting outside the bay for a mechanic, I pulled into the bay hoping the employee standing around would come over. Nope. Then, an employee came out from the office and told me I needed to back up out of the bay before she would help me. There were no other customers there and no one working in the bay. I was there for auto work, so it seemed stupid to drive out of the bay just to talk to her, only to then pull back right into the bay to have the work done. Every other place I've had an oil change (including another Kwik Kar location), the employees waved me into the bay first thing. But, if they do it differently at this place, I was happy to comply. I asked if I could pull around instead, to avoid the risk of hitting anything by backing out. She said no. At that point, I was fed up with her attitude and the other employees' apparent disengagement. So I left. I drove to Christian Brothers Auto off of Flower Mound Rd and they were friendly and efficient. Such a contrast. Hey Judah- If you are the owner of the kwik car wash in Grapevine this message is for you. This afternoon my family left Grapevine Mills and went to get a car wash. We paid, went to enter the car wash and the grate track gave out and as your employee was instructing us to "pull forward" it hit the metal rail and caused damage to the car. After we backed up- one of your employees ran over and moved something and kept making an "oh s***" facial expression. The main issue aside from our car being damaged. Your staff at this location were rude, laughing at the situation, smoking inside the auto shop area, instead of being helpful they were extremely rude and just kept saying "we are not responsible". Because they refused to attempt to resolve this issue and made a mockery of us we would like to be able to communicate with you. Really terrible experience with nasty customer service response. Read the reviews people. I never write reviews but I have to share this. if you value your property and your money, do yourself a favor and and take your car somewhere else. I brought my car in for a brake job and $1100 later, and an hour later the passenger rotor installed was was extremely hot and smoking from rubbing on something and there is a loud clamping noise which I recorded. I took the car back and they tell me there was an issue with seized up caliper that the mechanic knew about but never addressed, that why they offered to replace the caliper at no cost... which they did but wait there's more...now there is a noise when I hit the brakes... I call them and tell them the brakes are still grinding... the dude on the phone then proceeds to tells me that I'm doing something wrong... go figure... At this point I lost all confidence in them fixing my car so I take it to the dealership. they dealer confirmed the noises were caused by cheap aftermarket parts and get this.... they installed the wrong size caliper and brakes on my car... not even sure how that happens... anyway moral of the story, take your car there at your own risk read more

They have been changing my oil for 5 or more years for 3 cars and I am pretty happy with the results. Someone once recommended that you need to go to a regular mechanic so they could point out other issues with your car but when i did, the service wasn't anywhere near as good. I also like that they report the service to Carfax. read more

This was my first visit to this car wash. The car wash machine wouldn't take cash. The attendant came up and said this won't take cash--that's the reason why the coin slot is taped over. I was trying to use bills, not coins so I hadn't even noticed that part was taped over with clear shipping tape. He acted is if I should have known that, however the automated screen said put in cash or credit card and there was no tape over the bill receiver. There was no sign that said that it didn't take cash. So I had to wait for the attendant to go inside and get my change and receipt. Then when I pulled up to the car wash area, two guys started scrubbing the windows and paint of my car with brooms. I got the basic car wash and while I appreciated their initiative, I rolled down the window and asked them not to use the brooms on my paint. The guy argued with me saying it was a soft brush that wouldn't scratch the paint. If I don't want my paint scratched with a rough broom, I am the customer and should have the final say over that. When my car came out, the wait and go sign didn't work. It's a broken-down, ghetto experience in a nice area. For the owner, please fix the basics. Do not recommend. read more

This is by first the worse experience I have ever had at an auto shop. The most incompetent group of mechanics I have ever encountered. How they are still in business is beyond me. I took my car to get brakes completely done. I left with my car making a very strange noise. I currently drive a 2014 Lexus IS250 which has had no issues and gets maintenance done regularly. At this point the routers start smoking. We take it back to the shop and the first thing these people say is they don't hear the noise. Once they realize they are not going to get away with that, they admit that it was their fault and says they will "fix" it. Next day we pick up the car and it is not making the same noise but is making a different noise when we hit the brakes. At this point we are frustrated and take the car to a Firestone nearby. Well we get to Firestone and they can't find the lock to remove tires. We call this place and they said it's somewhere in the car. In other words, they have lost it. So now we have to go to Lexus to get a a new one . When we proceed to tell them we are still having issues with the vehicle they supposedly fixed, they said it must be something that we are doing. read more

Pulled up this afternoon with no other cars in the bay, no cars in line, no cars in the car wash, so I was the only customer there. Any other oil change business (including other Kwik Kars) you go to, you pull up in the bay lanes and someone comes out to talk to you about what you want done. There was a worker in the garage like 6 feet from my car that was on his phone that I assumed would come greet me but after he glanced over a few times and walked away. I waited 5 minutes for him to come back and he never did. Absolutely no reason that he couldn't have at least came over and told me I needed to go inside if that's what I needed to do, or that he wasn't the one doing the service but someone would be out shortly, basically anything. This is a decent drive thru carwash. I always get the basic 5.99 wash (accepts credit cards) which goes by relatively quickly. A person manually does a light scrub with a mop to the windshields and bumpers of the car, and then manually dries the windshield after (so a few bucks for a tip is nice if you choose). There is also a free area to vacuum your car out. read more

I went to leave work in coppell today and heard a kitten crying. My boss and I found a kitten (just saw it's paw) laying on top my gas tank in back of car. We had no luck getting it out as it was scared. I drove carefully to kwik car hoping they could get under my car and find the kitten and get it out. These guys did not hesitate to save this little kitty. At first I thought they thought I was crazy until they saw her They teamed up to do what ever they needed including dropping my tank and were successful in rescuing her , yes it's a girl. I had a half hour drive home on the highway and I couldn't bring myself to drive home with a baby kitty stuck in my car. Thankfully these guys saved her. I can't thank them enough. This is a oil change company but these guys had enough heart to stop and help save this kitty. They deserve respect and If you need great guys working on your car I recommend them! Then got the free car wash, what a joke, half of the spinning washers didn't work, the air blower didn't work and then the guy at the end was using dirty towels to dry the car. Actually had to go to a real car wash after to clean up the mess that their car wash made. Hopefully no one is silly enough to pay for a car wash there. read more

This is the poorest customer service I've had anywhere I've been. I just moved to Texas and took my car to be detailed by this company. It took about five hours to be done. They called me 14 minutes before they closed to say the car is ready and that I should be there before closing. I have no other means of transport besides a cab or Lyft. It would have taken more than 14 minutes to get a cab and drive to get the car. The attendant said in no uncertain terms that that was not their problem and that I would have to get the car the next day. He said if I had begged them to stay back maybe he could have arranged something. A customer is to beg them to stay back? They were the ones that kept the car for five hours and until nearly closing. They will never see another dime from me. I would never recommend this crappy establishment. And the one star is only because I can't leave zero stars. read more

I have always used Kwik Kar locations but will NOT use this one again. It started out okay until time to check out. I used Groupon for my oil change and as usual expected the shop fee and added quart of oil fee. This has always run between 7 to 15 dollars because of mileage I have changed from conventional to semi synthetic oil now. So when I was told the bill was $35 I was shocked and asked why. I was told that I need a special oil filter. This seems odd to me as I have need been told this before and have several oil changes done in the past. I was told I needed to pay my bill in full so of course I did then was told my car was out back. I was then walked through the open shop area out to the back where my car sat running with the keys in it unattended. I then drove through their car wash and located one of the several past Kwik Kar receipts and drove back around to the office and again asked the price difference. I also asked for my old parts back. He looked at the old receipt and stated that of course the fees were different because it was conventional oil. I told him I understood that part and was not arguing that point. I had upgraded due to the mileage and all of the vehicle. My complaint was the huge mark up on special filter that I have never seen before. His response was " Well, I am finially charging you correctly." It seems odd that many other locations have done the same service and more without ever mentioning this or their receipts ever showing it. As far as my old parts? Well they were unable to be given to me but he was happy to show me new ones. I will have to now take to car or YouTube how to reset the computer because they missed that part. I usually use Kwick Kar To get oil changes but this was my first time using this location and will be my last. I went in to get an oil change, this process was quick but the employees seemed to be high and as if I bothered them to do business. They forgot my oil sticker so I had to go back inside and ask for them to give it to me. After that they told me I could get a car wash. I had to go through the was 4X!!! 4! The man at the front of the line was horrible. He barely prepped my car for wash and their car wash line was not working thus no soap, water or air drying. The man at the end of the line who did not speak English was probably the nicest employee in the whole place and asked me to go through it again. I went though it again and the same things happened, and again for the 3rd time. The guy at the end told me one more time and I was like fine. This time they had brought one more guy to prep the cars before wash. He knew what he was doing and was trying to do the job right. I watched the car in-front of me get full treatment and when I pulled up again... for the 4th time the original man who put me in through the wash put my car in too early. The other gentleman who came to help him was upset that he put me through early and I saw them arguing through the rear view mirror. So again I go through the wash with no soap, no water nothing... just soggy damp rotating rags. Save your money and time. Don't go here. read more
