I shouldn't post anything about this restaurant/taphouse because I want to keep it to myself. We went yesterday after golfing nearby and we were met by Rob the owner. He greeted us like long lost friends. We ordered the amazing pretzel bites and of course various local beers. We ordered the Elvis burger and hot pastrami sandwich less the sauerkraut, both were absolutely amazing, I'd also suggest the seasoned tots and ask for a side of the cheese that comes with the pretzels. Lastly they haven't forgotten what customer service should be like. Sadly most of the restaurants we used to frequent have employees that just don't care. We sat outside, great service, food was delicious although sort of pricey which is why I gave the 4 stars. 2 burgers, pretzel bites, and 2 flights cost us $73...but food was great, bison burger was cooked and seasoned well husband loved it. Great service, they have extended the tables into the parkinglot outside. So you can sit outside. I brought our dog and they had a bowl of water for her . The food is awesome, try the burger with fig! Ohhhh i forgot to mention the specials. Smoked salmon crostini's are to die for! And like a good Taphouse don't forget the beer. They not only have a great beer selection to please all pallets but also a short list of mixed drinks and wine My husband loves his beer and enjoys a variety so Blake's is perfect for him. I, on the other hand line beer but after one, I'm good to switch it up. Finally! A pub that caters to both of us! The menu is good as well and it looks like they offer specials on the regular. The service was really over the top good. The staff was on top of it and then some with the great service. Lastly, we were really impressed with the owner. I came in with a friend and witnessed some poor lady get absolutely verbally accosted by some manager, simply because she gave her baby baby food. I guess it's policy there to not bring in outside food which is fine, however, the situation was handled so unbelievably poorly, it made us all feel unsafe for the woman getting yelled at and for ourselves. I was very reluctant to leave feedback considering the "owners" distasteful, rude response to some of the other reviews left. I just think it's a horrible business model (especially after Covid and the thousands of restaurants that closed because of it) to treat your customers that way and then to defend that type of behavior. Went there last night and had the yummiest gluten friendly flatbread and wings! The wings are roasted not fried and so delicious. They have tons of great beers on tap. The outdoor area is warm (it was chilly) and the owner came over and gave us some beer tastings. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!!! read more

Went in on a Friday evening to a packed bar and the host was immediately trying to help us when we walked in, then a middle aged man(maybe the owner or something) walked up to us and asked us if we knew about the mask mandate going on when not a single other person was wearing a mask at the establishment. When acknowledging the mask mandate he asked if we could read because there is a sign on the door. Worst customer service and interaction I have ever had with a restaurant manager and this was our first visit to the restaurant and we definitely won't be returning. Update: I appreciate the quick response from the owner. I too have worked in the food industry during Covid and understand the mask policies, we would have been totally fine putting a mask on if we would have been asked before basically being told that we were too dumb to read a door. read more

Blake's ultimate burger is delicious, one of the best I have had. It comes with goat cheese and bacon. If you like goat cheese, you will love it. You can get a small salad or chips with the burger. The chips were good, but I would have liked fries better. The draft beer selection is great. The service has been great every time I have been. Great place. read more

We went here on a Saturday night for a karate fundraiser. Due to the fundraiser, there were a lot of people and not enough space but it was beautiful seeing that much support within my children's dojo so no complaint here regarding space. My son ordered the Blake's board with meats and cheeses. I loved it! Even the pickles had a barbecue smell on them. The rest of us ordered burgers with tots and the nachos to share. So good! The only suggestion I would say is that the tots had too much of the Cajun salt so it was too salty to eat. Maybe just a sprinkling next time? My husband loved the beer selection and I'm super impressed with the Boylan sodas on tap. Our friends came to support the fundraiser and the owner personally around to thank them for coming. They were very impressed with his customer service and we love everything about this place! We will be back! read more
