I felt like this experience was better than the others bc the food came out at a decent time. We ordered through the app and waited in the parking lot for 7 min before pulling up, and the food was ready and piping hot. We had a pleasant surprise of an extra bag of fries. I'm still waiting for Blake's to update their app to add Blake's sauce as an option! We still have to order it at the window. Per the pics, you can see the burger patties were cooked medium, which is great considering the patties are thin. I added extra tomatoes, pickles, lettuce and grilled onions on my single patty burger, but they also added extra raw onions too. Lol Idk if that was a mistake, but I sure enjoyed the extra crunch and flavor. I noticed the burger prices have increased about $2. Makes sense. I still like their burgers over others, so I'm still a loyal customer. Glad that Blake's has improved their service and food! Happy customer! read more

This Blakes is not run very well. They either can't read English or just don't give Feck, Tran angers of course. Ordered a lotta burger and it's a burger with no onions and green chili . It clearly says it on BOTH tickets , but open the burgers and onions. Ordered a seasoned fries, received cold soggy fries. And to top it off no thank you come again. Come on Blakes! You've been in business in New Mexico for decades and you cannot figure out how to train your employees on your menu. We love the chili and always order extra chili. So for example a breakfast burrito with Christmas (which is green sauce and red sauce per their menu) plus we add chopped green chili (pay extra for even more chili but this is not the sauce version just the chopped green). Guess what we get? Only chopped green! We worded extra chili 100% of time and pay extra 100% of time and 50% of our orders are wrong! When they get it right it is good. And we go to this location because as sad as it is to say, they get it right more than others. This is my annual rant. I have ranted on this for last 7 -10 years and they will never fix it. read more

So I have been in ABQ for 3 months and all I hear is how delicious Blake's burgers are and I have to try one. Finally tonight I decided to do a fast food run and was so excited to try their food. Seriously disappointed. Got a large seasoned fry and a Lotta Burger. Both were barely warm. Seasoned fries? Not very seasoned - expected something a little more ... well seasoned. Before 2003 when it was opened by the original owners Blakes was the place to go to specially with friends and family on the weekends. I don't like that the patties the beef patties are thicker. I don't like the meat I don't like that it doesn't look like there's a difference between the big burger and the small burger. most of the lakes are always not clean when I arrive there's so many issues I don't go anymore. These people are working SO hard to get fresh food to everyone as fast as they can. A lot of people in the drive thru were getting frustrated but I think people forget that Lotaburger makes your food fresh to order and it isn't your typical fast food joint. The store on juan tabo is filthy. Months of grime built up underneath the benches and tables. The bathrooms were disgusting as well. I would really hate to see what the kitchen looks like. I will tell you the Blakes Lotaburger on Carlisle next to the interstate is top notch. Food is always hot and top quality and the old school store is always clean. For Managment on juan tabo to get such a nice new remodeled restaurant and treat it with such disrespect is horrible. I can't blame the staff though it comes down to corporate and upper management. French fries were cold/old. Called because it was a drive thru order and didn't see until I got home. They refused any future replacement or even an offer of apology. Only option rudely given was to drive back there and take food for exchange. I was not able to drive all the way back for their mistake and was needing other options presented to me at my convenience due to their error. Blake's store at Juan Tabo and Indian School is VERY POORLY run. It seems that many nights it is a bunch of adolescents attempting to run the store with more energy going to visiting and laughing amongst themselves. Workers and "managers" have no training in customer service. After a very rude encounter with one of these adolescent "managers", we called the cooperate office to voice our concerns. We were shocked at the attitude toward and lack of concern for the customers. We have been loyal customers for many years and have gone weekly. Our last visit did it. They have finally lost our business. I gave them a one star but that was being kind. if word of mouth counts, I will tell everyone about our experience. This store is terrible but there seems to be no appreciation expressed even at the cooperate level for it's customers or the money they spend at Blake's! read more

This location is terrible, even by current Blake's standards. Last time I came here, I ordered a lotaburger combo from the drive thru. I waited nearly 30 minutes and had to get down to the lobby to pick up my order, which was sitting on a shelf the whole time. When I started eating my order, there was nothing on the burger and the fries were stale. Went back to the cashier, asked for my money back. This seems to be a common theme among the new or remodeled Blake's locations. Maybe they should focus on improving customer service instead of remodeling their restaurants into bland and boring designs. read more

I've always loved Blake's and I've been coming here since before it was remodeled. My last 3 visits have just taken so long that it's not worth it anymore. I know that the food is freshly cooked, but waiting 25 minutes for two burgers is just ridiculous. And it's every time, this place always has a line around the store. So either Blake's isn't properly staffing their crew, or they have slow motion grill cooks. I left a very bad review several months ago. I decided to give it another chance hoping the food quality would improve. Well, it did by leaps and bounds. I ordered a bacon breakfast burrito with green and an extra side of green because the burrito have been very dry with very little or no green at all. This burrito was excellent! The burrito did not even need the extra green it was perfect. This is how they used to make them. Please keep this the norm. Consistency is so important. I'll defiantly try the food again in a few weeks to see if it's the same quality. Please, please keep it up. read more
