I don't eat a lot of fast food or very often, but this place has been on my to-do list to try since I've heard so much buzz about it from friends. I didn't think I'd get through all the chicken, but it was so delicious and fresh, it was the first to go. The chicken fingers are more meat than breading, which was a wonderful surprise as I'm always struggling to get protein. The sides were pretty good. My co-worker raved about the bread and I would agree. Spectacular. This location is clean and modern. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I mentioned I had never eaten Caine's and he ran through the menu for me highlighting the differences in options. The General Manager heard me say I had never eaten here and he came to check on my experience after I had utterly demolished 4 chicken fingers. We chatted a bit and I'm always so grateful when people that work for a company REALLY believe in it. Wonderful location, great chicken. Well, I finally got the chance to try this fast food place. Went through the drive through and not knowing what to expect, I have to say it was a pretty good experience. Pretty quick to order, they have a good menu. Efficiency with paying and getting order. One issue I had is they have multiple orders windows but, they merged it to one lane before the pay window. If they don't have the lanes open to pay and pick up then shut down the lanes completely. The food was nice temperature, chicken was crispy and moist, fries were too salty for my tastes, bread was good, sauce was flavorful and the Arnold Palmer was good. Price was decent. Each location is a hit or miss. This one was just average. The chicken didn't hit like it does at some locations.

Well I waited for the crazy hype to finish here in Albuquerque before we went to visit the second location on Wyoming. The building is pleasing visually and so far well maintained. I was able to proceed directly to the drive thru and straight to a young man. This young man was pleasant with great communication skills and customer service. I wish I had gotten his name. As I proceeded forward I notice another young man who was on the hustle helping customers. On the other had the other five children working were looking useless hang through the drive thru window and each other. Their system for moving you along is very efficient one of the children ran my food to my car. Again customer service goes a long way. No greeting, no confirming this was actually my order, just a here's your food and trying to hand me drinks and a large bag all at once. I am grateful she didn't throw it and run. The food. Well it's simply chicken, fries, coleslaw, and toast. Well it was all good! It traveled well to the east mountains. We enjoyed it all! It arrived warm and tasty. Loved the Post Malone cup! 4.5 stars Came here last Friday and was still surprised how packed it was inside and through the drive thru. We got our food in less than 10 minutes though (3 kids meals and a side order of Texas toast which was the perfect size and $21 for the three of us) and staff was friendly. There was a shelf for orders that were placed online. Now, I've had Cane's in a few other states, but this time was better than the last. I came here to visit a few weeks after the hype died down in hopes that I could figure out why it was so popular. I got my son something to eat, but since I did not know the menu it was difficult to order right away and I did not realize how few options there would be for myself to eat as a gluten-free person. The line was very long and it took quite some time for me to get my food. I was at the front of the line for over 15 minutes while cars behind me got their food and were stuck behind me as there was nowhere for me to pull into. So we went by on a Wednesday night about six weeks after opening, figuring that it would have been enough time for the fuss to die down. We were so wrong. I actually walked right up the the counter to order and that was the highlight of our visit. That facility has already been ravaged by the crowds and the building and the crew were frayed at the edges. They were out of ice, the restrooms were out of soap (!!!) and everyone was jostling in an overcrowded lobby with dirty tables and an overtaxed air conditioning system waiting for some mediocre kitchen. After 20 minutes of listening to some poor, underpaid soul announce "Name, your fresh hot chicken is ready" over and over and over, we got our baskets of food. Blessedly, there are only about four things on the menu. I can't imagine this staff and facility managing much more than that. We got the stand four strip meal for everyone and the chicken was indeed fresh and hot. Everything was a little salty and decidedly mediocre. Perhaps after a few more months and some key supply refills (I still don't want to think about how the staff maintained cleanliness with no soap in either restroom) I can come back and improve the rating. They clearly cannot handle the business that is coming through the drive-through.. when they first open they had people out here expediting handing you boxes. Everything was fast. I've waited 35 minutes in line to get a box combo. I could've went to Albertsons went home and cooked it myself before 36 minutes was up. A real disappointment because when they first got here, they were jamming like an In-N-Out Burger. I don't know what is taking so long. It's now 47 minutes. All they have to do is cook a bunch of chicken a bunch of fries, coleslaw bread, they have a line around the block, then have an assembly line putting this together. This is not that hard. Excellent! It's my only guilty pleasure of fast food once in a while and this one is great too. The food is really that good for fast food. It comes hot and yummy and the french fries are fresh. The Cashier was super friendly and the place was very clean. We arrived around 11am and they really weren't busy yet which was nice. If you haven't tried Raising Cane's, you really should. It's not cheap for fast food, 3 of us ate for around $35. But it also doesn't taste like fast food either. read more

I grew up in southern Louisiana and the Cane's there, where it began, is so much better than what it is now. Chicken is ok, the fries are average but the sauce is still pretty good, I guess.
