Nice to find a good hamburger and fries in Deming,NM. Everything was fresh,abundant and hot. Wish there were more Blakes in other states.

New Mexico burger is really great. Very heavy meal but the chili's really have a lot of delicious flavor to them.

45 minutes of waiting to get two burgers to go. We could've (should've) gone to the grocery store, pulled out the grill, and made our own faster than this. read more

So it looks like it's been about 4 years since I last wrote a review for this Blake's, I guess that's because my opinion hasn't really changed. The food is great, service is usually fast considering everything is made as you order (don't expect 30 second turn around times like McDonald's). Service is almost always friendly, in 9 years or so I've only met one unfriendly employee (Bobby) and was relieved when I found out he was no longer around. For a fast food place Blake's has been a solid choice for 20+ years of my life and this particular location proves to be a stellar example of what I've come to expect. read more

AI takes your phone order, tells you your order will be ready in 10 minutes, you arrive within 10 min and the burgers are sitting there getting cold while they are waiting on the fries. Bread is stale. I would not return to this location again. read more

Thus is a fairly local chain we had not heard of before. Our burgers were delicious with Hatch chilis and fries. Even better than In'N'Out. Having grown up in New Mexico and remembering how phenomenal Blakes was in the 70s and 80s, it's brutally sad how the food and service has declined over the years. I went this morning, yes Covid 19 is in full force and masks are required to enter. The sign for the peach shake sold me, keeping my fingers crossed that it would be remotely close to Chik-Fil-A's Peach Shake left me disappointed, as it really wasn't good at all. I ordered a breakfast burrito and it took 22 minutes for me to get it, and there was only two customers besides myself in there at the time. With all that, I'll never be returning to this location. Torn between four and five stars. All the times I've had here has been great, filling, and above average in terms of other fast food chains. The food isn't outstanding, the service isn't awesome, but it's all around good Anytime am in Deming try and come here a few times. Today had a regular Lota burger and was tasty. The spicy fries were good, and the drink was good too. Also got a brownie but could've passed on that. Will continue coming here and support the smaller fast food chains. read more

All around great experience! Passing through from AZ. Had the lotta burger NM style with one patty though. Pretty delish! I was excited to get real looking fries. Hubby had the chicken sandwich and onion rings. He said he's was pretty good! I have no reason to give less than 5 stars other than not being able to see the menu while in line due to an over hang. Just a good burger spot. The wait was kinda long very long when I went but it's still a really good burger option. One of the best national chain burgers around is the double beef burger with cheese and of course green chili . The staff was friendly here and the place was really retro looking and it's a nice blast from the past. This is a New Mexico owned and operated chain of hamburger restaurants and on the plus side, the food is not at all bad and they are fast. But perhaps a little too fast, because I have frequently run into trouble with to-go orders being incomplete. On the most recent occasion, I picked up a large order and did not have time to check it thoroughly before I left the store. Sure enough, items were missing, so I called the store and reported that I would have to come back for the missing items. They did not even start cooking them until I arrived, suggesting that they forgot *again.* It didn't seem that busy, and I've run into this before, so it appears to be a pattern. read more

There was a Lotaburger near where I grew up so I was excited about our New Mexico trip just to have it again. I may still be a kid at heart (and even act like one sometimes) but maybe, at least, my palate has grown. My double meat Lotaburger with cheese and green chiles (gotta have those if you are in NM) was bland and dry. No amount of mayo and ketchup could save it. This is a NM chain so a return visit is unlikely to give them another chance. I guess I will just have to rely on those childhood fat-kid-eating-a-great-burger memories. read more

Great Service-Great Price-Great Burger. I ordered the Lota Burger, with green chile and cheese and was not disappointed. The resturant was clean and well maintained. Feeding our family of three was only $19, that was for a kids meal and two Lota Burgers with cheese and green chili on one. The meals came with fries and a large drink. The tables were filthy and counter refused my request for napkins to clean it and said she'd be "right there". 10 minutes later she cleaned our table and 3 behind us but not the other 5 in the section. BLAKES IN DEMING N.M never answers their phones or cleans their store, I spoke to the manager Emma she told me the night employees unplug the phones. So I called the store standing there waiting for my food and the employees never answered again so I guess the manager Emma doesn't plug them back in either. Online ordering doesn't work either so much for curb side. This is so sad considering that the reputation to this store has gone down the hole. Maybe corporate should step in before another great restaurant closes because of poor staffing. read more

There's simply no words for it. I love Blake's! This places definitely gets busy but it is worth the wait! I haven't had it in awhile but I'm almost sure it's the same as I remember. Went there for the first time and yeah, cool.... them kids are friendly and polite... chili beans were good, but they forgot to give me my seasond fries!!! I was looking forward to that!!!
