Called in my order - instead of regular fries I was given seasoned fries (without notifying me) - I couldn't eat these. Also no sauce came with the Chicken tenders, when my order was placed I requested Ranch, and they failed to provide it in my take-out order. The Dr. Pepper was flat - so had to throw that out too. I live about 4 miles from the restaurant - so I called them back to complain about the errors, and I was told that they had run out of regular fries and only had seasoned. Had they informed of this when I placed my order, I would not have ordered any fries - and I would have not had to pay for something that I couldn't eat and had to throw out. Very disappointed. Have been coming for years. The food is still good but the service was terrible lately. The wait is long and they charge us price not matching on the listed price. Charging us extra for large size when we did not ask for it. When I questioned it, the lady said the meal always come with large size, which was not since I ordered the same meal every week. If you are seeking the best fast food in Deming; please read on. I have been traveling east and west on Interstate 10 for the past twenty five years. One many occasions the hunger pangs will strike around the Arizona New Mexico state line as I am eastbound. I think anyone who has traveled this route frequently has their story about the Lordsburg McDonalds. No you can't stop in Lordsburg... you have to make it to Deming. I imagine many people are just like me come into Deming and the Burger King sits right at the "downtown" Deming exit. I have probably dined at the Deming Burger King 50-60 times in the past 25 years. I have never had a bad meal at the Deming Burger King; yet I have never had a great meal at Burger King. But wait this post is about the best Fast food restaurant in Deming. If you are east or westbound on Interstate 10 have you tried Blake's? Oh My God. For what you will pay at Burger King you can get a great, a terrific meal at Blake' for about the same price. If you are thinking I don't want to get off of I-10; if you are eastbound turn left at the Burger King (as though you are going to Silver City) Blake's is about ¼ mile north of Interstate 10. If you are westbound take the exit marked Silver City. You are literally one minute from 1-10 to Blake's Why you ask would you want to go to Blake's? The Blake's Deming restaurant is absolutely spotless. My wife and I stopped for lunch about 2:00 Saturday. (Obviously this was after the noon rush). Every seat, table and counter was spotless. It was so clean you would take notice of it. When you walk in the door the staff says "Welcome to Blake's". They had one cashier who was busy taking phone orders when we arrived; yet she was most cordial in greeting us. The wait to take our order was a couple minutes. The three reasons why you should check out Blake's are quality, value and service. Blake's and their Deming restaurant makes the best green Chile cheeseburger served by a fast food chain. (They have won an award) If you are traveling the I10 corridor you have to try their green Chile cheeseburger once. If you try it once, it can be habit forming. What if you don't like green Chile cheeseburgers? My wife had a grilled chicken sandwich. It was so good she was raving about how she had the best fast food grilled chicken sandwich she ever had. My question is: Why pay for average fast food when you can get great fast food for about the same price as the competition? Remember Blake's is one minute from Interstate 10 I am embarrassed to say I have been traveling Interstate 10 through Deming for 25 years and had never stopped at Blake's until Saturday. Foods ok but when I got cup for my drink it had nats in it manager didn't seem to concerned and just gave me new cup and more ice ok what ever just about all sodas were out so ended up getting Mountain Dew with no carbonation it was better then watered down root beer at least this time fries were ok all other times looks like got all the old brown fries that were fried 2 or 3 times just bad read more

This has become a tradition when going through New Mexico to stop at Blake's. Whenver I see a place that only has a few things on the menu (burgers, fries, onion rights) and not much more, that usually means they have chosen to specialize in a few good things. That is the case at Blake's. I would never stop at a chain like McDonalds or Burger King if there is a Blake's around. There is a bit of a wait as they make their food fresh to order, but the Burger and fries itself never disappoints. I even like the way the inside is clean, but feels like it's still stuck in the 80's with the decor and no fuss decorations. Of course they can't help it when they are busy and people let their kids climb all over the furniture, but other than that I have no complaints. Great Burger for the price. Had burger withe green chiles. Actually had red chiles in it too. Very spicy!! But good flavor. Beef patty was ok, but not my favorite. Fries were so good my husband ate them all and saved 2 for me. It's been a while since I been to Blake's lottaburger and on my adventure of what I call tour, this is a must on my list of places I have to visit; Due to nostalgia. I chose this one because I am close to hatch New Mexico. And that is where the best green chillies are. What is green chile? Well it's a green chile pepper that is grown here in NM. People are addicted to it. I was once. So I am trying to see if I can remember if I still love the stuff or hope I don't have the case of the runs as I venture down the highway. Every blake's look the same. Red white and blue and everything kinda looks cheap. But that's a bit of its charm. The first bit of hatch green chile was the best bite of cheese burger I have eaten in a long time. And my stomach might not feel well after this but it will win the taste bud challenge of the best green chile burger I have eaten in 4 years. The people working are little cute old women who still work even past the age of when many retire. They are so cheerful and have a certain charm about them when they talk. It's the New Mexico accent of Spanglish and English that make it refreshing. Perhaps this sandwich made me miss the southwest or maybe I just miss green chile. Blakes makes good fast food and we always eat there when driving through NM. The new chicken breast sandwich is very good and made of high quality, juicy breast meat. Their burgers are on par with Wendy's or Whataburger. Get 'em with green chile and turn things up a notch! The onions rings ain't bad either. read more

Food is fairly good. We always order the BBQ Pork and Onion Rings. Place is clean. I think it is better than McDonalds.

Best burger "chain" in town. This place is still a burger and fries place, but it's soooo much better than the usual fast food places. Orders take a little longer, but they're cooked fresh. They also have awesome hot hatch green chile, which is a huge plus! Their seasoned fries are so good too. I had recently realized they serve breakfast burritos, which you won't regret eating one of those, unless for some reason you're on a diet or something, haha! They're a good size and are really tasty, don't forget the chile, though. The people at the registers are usually very friendly, unlike some of the fast food places. I also love their soft drinks because they carry Pepsi and have ice similar to Sonic that's great if you like to eat the ice while sipping your soda. read more

first of all, i arrived at blakes yesterday, i was greeted even though it was busy, the pregant woman still gave me eye contact that she would be w. me in a few minutes. when i ordered i love how she was so friendly, specific about what i wanted in my burgers. the burgers tasted amazing! There's signs in the bathroom for employees to wash their hands after touching equipment, changing task, touching their clothes etc. Now only if they actually did that. The girl touched her hair, didn't do it. She then dropped plastic cups on the floor and picked them up and put them back. Another lady walks up and droops tonges on the floor picks them up and puts them on the counter next to cooked food. Very disguising and when I told the cashier I wanted my money back, who was the same one that dropped the cups, denied it and then acted like I was the crazy person. Normally Blakes is great; it's a family tradition to stop at this specific one on our way to Albuquerque, however this time was terrible. First the cashier barely spoke English so it was hard to communicate which also lead to our order missing multiple items, then the burgers we ordered had lot of excess mustard, as if things couldn't get any worse the tables were dirty yet not as dirty as the soft drink fountain.
