The burger was the fastest burger I had ever received. It was also delicious kind of like a cheaper version of 5 guys. The service was easy and there's only a few options so deciding really isn't a factor. I want to try the breakfast and I will. The place kind of just is a fast food type style sit down quick vibe your in and your out.

Soooo GOOD! And VERY reasonably priced too!!! Hubs had the Lota Burger and enjoyed it. He doesn't rave about food the way I do, so when he says "This burger is pretty good" without me even asking means he LOVED it. My Frito Pie was OUTSTANDING! The flavor was really good and the serving size was great! It's the kind of place that you go to for the food, NOT the ambiance. If I'm ever in Santa Fe again, I'll make it a point to come back.

Typical burger shop. It reminds me of a cousin of Burger King in how the burger taste and smell charbroiled. Everything tasted fresh and the burgers were made to order. I ordered a Lotta Burger with bacon and fries with a strawberry shake. The strawberry shake tasted too artificial. Certainly didn't taste like it was prepared with real strawberries. Overall an OK experience and definitely a burger place to try if you desire a fresh, traditional burger.

Bun was a bit dry and there was not enough green chili. Otherwise it was delicious. I will stop at a Blake's every time I visit New Mexico. The one on The Paseo Norte in Taos is my favorite.

Perhaps the smallest $2.50 order of fries ever? This is a Blake's medium seasoned fries order.

Absolutely the worst Lotaburger meal ever. I was looking forward to a burger all day and decided to grab one on the way home from work. I called my order in and was pretty happy with the automated ordering system. I got to the restaurant and was happy it wasn't too busy. It took about 5 minutes before my order was ready and I was in and out really quickly. The staff was polite. The problem? The smallest portion of greasy seasoned fries I've ever seen. They cost $2.50! The burger? Tasted like it had been sitting on the grill for hours. Blakes is an institution in NM. My friends that have moved away always want to stop in, until recently. The service has always been expectedly slow, but now the food is hit and miss; more and more frequently a miss. Too bad.

Yumm!! Fast, cheap, delicious. What more could you want in a burger? For some added spice and flavor get your burger with green chile.

Texas has Whataburger and its all good but New Mexico has Blakes Lotaburger. Hands down the best! Fresh, homegrown and delicious.

Really quality burger, fries an shake. Love the simple 1950's style of the place which had been retained. The food seems simple and tasty.

Very interactive, friendly, jovial, very interactive and going above and beyond to make us feel at home and answer any questions that we might have about their menu. As outstanding as the service was when we placed our order at the counter. The food itself blew everything out of the water. My cheeseburger on a sesame seed bun with green chilies, grilled onions, pepper, jack cheese, and all the accompaniments was probably one of the best burgers I've had in a very, very long time. Outstanding. My dining companion had her burger with green chilies and grilled onions and pepper jack cheese, and all the compliments served on a sopapilla bun. She said it was not good, it was marvelous, stupendous outstanding. The sweet potato fries were outstanding... Crispy, tasty and the serving was huge We were the only patrons in the restaurant at the time, but it had a friendly vibe to it and dislike a down home friendly Mom and Pop restaurant. I have tried to make as many notes as I can to make sure next time my man, Santa Fe that I grab a real burger. This place was off the chart good. I wish I could give it more than five stars, but that's my limit.

Located in a quieter part in the edge of downtown, parking is usually pretty easy to find on-Street, and it's a few steps over to shops. The outdoor patio is secluded and quiet, and the indoors offers plenty of seating in a historic setting that's bright and fresh. On the food side, Palacio cooks their red Chile for over 8 hours, making it in my opinion one of the best and most flavorful in Santa Fe. Most other places I get Christmas style, but here, the red Chile is just perfect. On this trip, we had a smothered breakfast burrito and enchiladas suizas. Both were perfectly cooked, served hot, and resulted in another visit of what we expected from Palacio - great food and friendly service in what had quickly become our favorite Santa Fe restaurant.
