A bit disappointed. Service wasn't as attentive as expected (re: coffee refills, checking in). Pancakes were doughy and under-done. Flies visible and annoying at table. Probably won't be back.

Good experience. We were seated immediately for late lunch. The food came promptly and was really hot. We had a chicken burrito with Christmas sauce. We also had the salmon fruit salad. Both dishes were good. Tres leches cake was very relaxing.

Friendly service and delicious food in the heart of Santa Fe. We ordered a variety of different things from the menu. I got the Enchilada suizas, which was the special for the day, my boyfriend got the Chile Relleno Plate, and others got the frito pie, enchiladas, or a salad. Mine came with refried beans and others came with pinto beans. Both were good but I liked the refried beans the best. Portions were pretty big, some people shared, some had leftovers, and those of us that finished our plates left very full. There were different areas to sit including a couple rooms and a back patio. We were in the side room that was a little more plain, but the other room really had that New Mexico feel and vibe. We came for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and they were easily able to accommodate our group of 7.

So far, this is the best Mexican cuisine in New Mexico in my limited NM dining experience. My spouse and I had lunch and ordered the Chef Salad and the Enchilada Plate with baked chicken. The Chef Salad was made with fresh ingredients and was a nice, ample portion. The Enchiladas were crafted with yellow corn tortillas filled with baked chicken, cheddar cheese, and onions, all generously topped with a rich red chile sauce. Absolutely delicious! The restaurant's decor was authentic and unique, fitting perfectly with its location in an artist town. The restrooms were clean, and the service was excellent. A wonderful find!

Do NOT sleep on the beef green chile stew - omg! A warm tortilla on the side, so so delicious! A little bit of a bite due to the green chile. The salad as well as chips, salsa, and guacamole were excellent. The service was wonderful and the ambiance was relaxed while being lively. The colors of the cafe are beautiful yellows, reds, blues. We felt very welcomed and our drinks arrived quickly. Quality of the food is excellent.

July 22nd 2024 walked a few blocks from the plaza Eastward to the Palacio Cafe. Very busy place at lunch Wife had a $16.64 chicken enchilada with corn tortilla. Two corn tortillas with chicken cheddar cheese onions topped with red chili sauce just the way she likes it hot and spicy. I had the $13 Rubin sandwich it comes on marble rye bread thousand Island dressing Swiss cheese corned beef and sauerkraut. Wife would normally order this but has an aversion to sauerkraut I would usually not order this as not fond of marble rye bread. However the corned beef was juicy tender and so outstanding the best reuben sandwich I have ever tasted so good that I overlooked the marble rye bread. Would come back here again in an instant for the reuben sandwich alone. my wife can even have some and I would eat her sauerkraut

Damian and his crew are delightful and we received top notch service! Some of the best food we've ever had in Santa Fe! We highly recommend the green chile stew and the smothered burrito. Highly recommend!!!!!

While vacationing in Santa Fe within a few hours of arrival I walked into Palacio Cafe for dinner . The owners were present and waited on me and other guest . The owner and his wife are very kind and nice . From my observation they are well respected as there was a couple who was on my flight . They stopped by for dinner and to visit the owners. The food was really delicious and fresh, sauces made from scratch . The jalapeno margarita was top notch the best I've had . I've traveled to many places. By far the best . The ambiance is nice and clean and is definitely Santa Fe vibe .

The best huevos rancheros in NM.

Don't be wooed by the shine and sparkle of Santa Fe's better known restaurants as this one offers, hands-down, the best huevos and chile in New Mexico. We make a pilgrimage here at least once a year and send photos to family to inspire jealousy. You don't want to be jealous, do you?

Patrons form a line to order, and signs on tables ask guests to order before settling into a table. Before we could give up and walk out, the owner/manager approached us at the Mille entrance with complete kindness, and he invited us to enter with the stroller to find seating before ordering. We were so surprised by his desire to accommodate the baby, and we accepted his generous offer, quickly finding a little corner table in the covered patio area at the back of the restaurant. Once the stroller was out of the way, I placed our orders, and we received our drinks quickly - a black hibiscus iced tea plus a creamy London Fog. Brunch followed shortly - croque Madame for me, veggie quiche for my friend, and a Nutella crepe to share. My taste of the quiche was super creamy, and the croque madame was as rich as expected. Crepe was lovely, though I wish they hadn't run out of eclairs, which are my favorite. We'll have to show up earlier next time - and there will be a next time! Thank you for the hospitality, Mille. The way you welcomed us, stroller and all, made all of the difference.

The minute we walked into this coffee shop, we were kindly greeted by everyone working. Then, we were given a sample of their caramel sauce that is house made. Apparently, a majority of their syrups and sauces are made in house which is a PLUS. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with caramel drizzle. I've been to a lot of coffee shops and dare i say that this was the BEST VANILLA LATTE i've ever had! We sat outside (they have outdoor and indoor seating which is nice). We had accidentally spilled some coffee, thankfully Kagome was so SWEET and HELPFUL, she immediately came to clean up the mess. Thank you again Kagome! We truly appreciated the staff and the entire ambiance of the shop. Definitely will be coming back!!! Last note. If you're not a big fan of coffee, then I 100% recommend the horchata (it's made in house). SO GOOD!

The girl at the register was really friendly. They had brewed coffee ready in a thermos, and when I asked if it was fresh, she let me taste it first, which I appreciated. It was smooth but a little lighter than the dark roast I was hoping for. My daughter ordered an iced mango espresso, but it had an unexpected cucumber-like flavor that wasn't really our thing. Overall, it's a great little café with a welcoming atmosphere and definitely worth stopping by if you're exploring Santa Fe.

Cafecito has been showing up on my reels and it looked like the kind of special I wanted. Just a few steps away from the Railyards, this place seems to be in its own island, in a quiet corner. The place is simple in decoration, with lots of plants, plenty of natural light, and a cozy vibe. The manager or owner greeted us. We started special the right way . Staff took a little longer than I expected to take our order (or I may have been veeeery hungry). However, our order came quite quick! The hubby ordered the Santa Fe and Carne Empanadas with lentil soup. I ordered the Gaucho to get some range. The empanadas were quite good and tasty. They were on the medium size, well packed with protein, with a nice and soft pastry. The Santa Fe had very fragrant green chiles and good seasoning on the chicken. The Carne had an amazing taste on the wagyu with a bit of spice and sweet with those peppers. The lentil soup was thick and tasty with every spoonful. The Gaucho, unfortunately, was not as successful as the empanadas. The sourdough was thinly sliced and perfectly toasted, pairing well with the butter and quince jam. The provolone and tomatoes were confusing, but they were well portioned. The eggs were fluffy and ok, nothing to die for, just well executed. The flank steak relied a lot on the chimichurri, which added great acidity, but without it, the steak did not have its own seasoning or flavor. It was satisfying, but the visuals tricked me into thinking it was going to blow my mind. Overall, this is a nice space to hang with friends for a special occasion and enjoy some tasty options. I'm interested in returning to try other things. I like when a place sparks my curiosity.
