We were seated right away. Dad had the Huevos Rancheros special for 4.00 bucks! You can get the eggs with red, green or Christmas or on the side. The tortilla is underneath the eggs but you can order an extra one if you need one! I had the strawberry and banana crepes . They were light and delicious. Dad said he might order them next time. The coffee is refilled often. There is decaf too. This place is family friendly and has high chairs and they accommodate gladly for wheel chairs and walkers. We had a great experience. Everyone was so hungry and I asked a few locals where they recommend to take a few hungry kids on a road trip. Weck's came up and we were glad we went. Overall we got pancake, strawberry waffle, sausage, apple juice, stuffed French toast with strawberries, flavored coffee (special), and the New Mexico Benedict. Aside from the coffee (kinda boring) and one of the Benedict sandwiches (it has a lot less flavor than the other), everything was awesome. We ate all the food and everyone was happy afterwards. Weck's is a chain restaurant which was completely unknown to me until the other day. On 5/29/2023 my daughters and I stopped here for brunch on our way back home from Colorado. We were greeted right away. I was told it would be a 15-20 minute wait, so we washed up in the surprisingly small bathroom nearby. When we walked out which was probably not even 5 minutes later, our hostess took us to our seat. The wait service was attentive and friendly too. It was just hard to hear sometimes because of the dining room chatter. No background music or TVs. Just lots of old folks and families blabbing. Lol. From the kid's menu, my oldest had pancakes and bacon ($5.99) which she seemed to like very well. My other kiddo had the mac n cheese with fruit ($5.99). She enjoyed the grapes, but the other fruit didn't look all that fresh. I recommend the chicken and waffles ($11.99). The chicken was slightly crunchy on the outside yet tender and juicy inside. The waffles were cooked nicely. All of it was dusted lightly with powdered sugar. This Weck's is located within a plaza with a few other eateries plus a pet store and a grocery store. Parking - while ample - is a bit tight for larger vehicles and trailers. Because of the low pricing and the non-charge for my strawberry lemonade, this place is 3.75 stars rounded up to 4 for me. Only getting two stars because the Benedict came out hard boiled and the other one the yolk was already broken. Not much care put into my breakfast. The others in my party enjoyed their meals. THis is one of a small chain of restaurants in New Mexico, I'm told. I wish there was one in my town, Pueblo CO. We dined at Weck's 2 out of 3 breakfasts while visiting Santa Fe in early October 2022. We were already familiar with the place from previous trips there. I love this place. The building and decor are pretty much nicer diner style, like Village Inn. The breakfast is excellent. Their specialty is hash browns and they do them well. 'Papas' on the menu, they offer a 'bowl' dressed with a variety of topping. I'm an enthusiastic eater and was not able to finish a full bowl. Their other breakfast offerings are similarly generous and tasty. We also enjoyed their eggs benedict choices, which were nicely done and plentiful. read more

We really enjoyed our breakfast here. It's true you get huge portions. I had the regular breakfast with eggs and bacon and hashbrowns. The only thing I would like is extra crisp on the hashbrowns. We had side of sausage gravy. My hubby got the papas plate with the full pig and had green chili on the side. His was real good too. The green chili had some goooood heat and was addicting. I went to Weck's based upon the reviews on Yelp and was not disappointed. I was seated immediately and had my morning coffee on the table within 5 minutes (huge for me). They service was amazing, I did not have to wait long for my Southern Denver omelette (which was large and full of stuff.) During a time where service has goon downhill, I am pleased to say this place should get 6 stars for service, food, and "filling your coffee cup before you empty it." One last point, (not sure if it was the manager or owner), visited all the tables to make sure everything was alright and the food was good. It shows they really care about their customers. So glad we stopped here! We aren't local so we were curious what Weck's was when we drove by. I made sure to check the Yelp reviews beforehand! We stopped in for a late breakfast and I was very happy with our experience. I want to say our waiters name was Arturo, but i most definitely could be wrong. I don't remember because it's been a while, but he seemed to be the only male waiter. He was knowledgeable and helpful and refilled our glasses without asking and didn't seem annoyed by my requests. My husband got the Rueben which was delicious and I got the enchiladas. Someone mentioned in another review that this is a cafeteria's take on Mexican food. That's fair, but it makes it sound bad. This was not bad, I was very happy with my food. I asked for the waiter to choose for me- I couldn't decide between enchiladas or the huevos rancheros. He brought out Christmas enchiladas (red and green) and I was pleased. It comes with two eggs on top and I was so happy. The eggs are cooked perfectly (not burnt!) And the yolk dripped down into the enchiladas beautifully. I used the flour tortilla it came with to essentially clean my plate. We were both happy with our meal and the service- if we find ourselves in the area or near a weck's elsewhere, we'll gladly be back! We left happy and with "Full Belly's." read more
