Lost a couple points. When the chicken looks and tastes canned, you lose big. No flavor.

We were pleasantly surprised how nice Weck's was for a weekend breakfast. Their dining room is folksy and cheerful. The special deal menu is great. I enjoyed the waffle combo (with bacon and coffee), and my other enjoyed the three-egg omelette with ham. With the Senior discount (10%) our breakfast for two was $25. Quite a deal! Our waitress, Evelyn, was friendly and attentive.

Weck's is a chain restaurant which was completely unknown to me until the other day. On 5/29/2023 my daughters and I stopped here for brunch on our way back home from Colorado. We were greeted right away. I was told it would be a 15-20 minute wait, so we washed up in the surprisingly small bathroom nearby. When we walked out which was probably not even 5 minutes later, our hostess took us to our seat. The wait service was attentive and friendly too. It was just hard to hear sometimes because of the dining room chatter. No background music or TVs. Just lots of old folks and families blabbing. Lol. From the kid's menu, my oldest had pancakes and bacon ($5.99) which she seemed to like very well. My other kiddo had the mac n cheese with fruit ($5.99). She enjoyed the grapes, but the other fruit didn't look all that fresh. I recommend the chicken and waffles ($11.99). The chicken was slightly crunchy on the outside yet tender and juicy inside. The waffles were cooked nicely. All of it was dusted lightly with powdered sugar. This Weck's is located within a plaza with a few other eateries plus a pet store and a grocery store. Parking - while ample - is a bit tight for larger vehicles and trailers. Because of the low pricing and the non-charge for my strawberry lemonade, this place is 3.75 stars rounded up to 4 for me. Incredible Eggs Benedict!!

EAT HERE, EAT HERE, EAT HERE!!! I had the Eggs Benedict and it was beyond. The haaaaammmmm, oh Lordy, it was so good. The Hollandaise had the perfect amount of lemon in it. Huge portions. Everything felt scratch made, even if it wasn't. It was just so, so good. Covid precautions in place even though it's a busy place, and service, as many others have said here, is super friendly and fast. I don't have one single criticism or thing to look out for here, except disappointment that they don't have these restaurants where I live in Utah. Just BOMB, all the way around. Thank you so much, you guys are KILLING it!!

Arrived at 8 AM on a Friday for breakfast, the food was good and coffee was great! coffee came out right away with several refills, food was served in less than 10 minutes, Service was polite, manager of the store came to our table and each individual table to check in to see if everything was OK, there is a great variety of options for breakfast on the menu, we had the corn beef hash and breakfast burrito, it's good to order your hash crispy if you like it brown, otherwise it's not crispy at all

New Mexico Benedict with hard boiled egg. Can you say over poached?
    Chris R.

Only getting two stars because the Benedict came out hard boiled and the other one the yolk was already broken. Not much care put into my breakfast. The others in my party enjoyed their meals. Big Papas bowl was hit and the Denver omelette was too. I had the New Mexico Benedict with the Christmas chili. The flavor was good for the chilis but wish there was a lot more green chili. Might give them more stars in the future. This time was disappointing as was the level of service.

We were so surprised by his desire to accommodate the baby, and we accepted his generous offer, quickly finding a little corner table in the covered patio area at the back of the restaurant. Once the stroller was out of the way, I placed our orders, and we received our drinks quickly - a black hibiscus iced tea plus a creamy London Fog. Brunch followed shortly - croque Madame for me, veggie quiche for my friend, and a Nutella crepe to share. My taste of the quiche was super creamy, and the croque madame was as rich as expected. Cafecito has been showing up on my reels and it looked like the kind of special I wanted. Just a few steps away from the Railyards, this place seems to be in its own island, in a quiet corner. The place is simple in decoration, with lots of plants, plenty of natural light, and a cozy vibe. The manager or owner greeted us. We started special the right way . Staff took a little longer than I expected to take our order (or I may have been veeeery hungry). However, our order came quite quick! The hubby ordered the Santa Fe and Carne Empanadas with lentil soup. I ordered the Gaucho to get some range. The empanadas were quite good and tasty. They were on the medium size, well packed with protein, with a nice and soft pastry. The Santa Fe had very fragrant green chiles and good seasoning on the chicken. The Carne had an amazing taste on the wagyu with a bit of spice and sweet with those peppers. The lentil soup was thick and tasty with every spoonful. The Gaucho, unfortunately, was not as successful as the empanadas. The sourdough was thinly sliced and perfectly toasted, pairing well with the butter and quince jam. The provolone and tomatoes were confusing, but they were well portioned. The eggs were fluffy and ok, nothing to die for, just well executed. The flank steak relied a lot on the chimichurri, which added great acidity, but without it, the steak did not have its own seasoning or flavor. It was satisfying, but the visuals tricked me into thinking it was going to blow my mind. Overall, this is a nice space to hang with friends for a special occasion and enjoy some tasty options. I'm interested in returning to try other things. I like when a place sparks my curiosity.
