Very convenient, you just go to their location on Sepulveda, one of their guys comes out, jumps in the car, and then you go to the Airport from there -- after you get dropped off, they drive your car back to their garage for storage. We always just have the guy drive to the terminal from the office because they are way better at navigating LAX than we are. They drop you off, then take your car back and park it in their garage. You can choose between covered or uncovered (price diff for covered). The best part is, when you land -- you simply text them that you are ready for pickup and they meet you at arrivals with your car. Then you can just get in your car and go home! Let me tell you, when you are weary from travel, it is SO NICE to just be able to have someone bring your car to you so you can go home. ;) Note: We usually offer to give the guy a ride back to the office after he picks us up, but you don't have to--- they usually just catch a shuttle.

The water feature doesn't work. But there are still scores of screaming kids that run up and down the concrete remains. The escalators to and from the parking frequently are broken. And yet they continue to charge outrageous amounts for the parking, now through centralized pae stations rather than meters which are unattractively bagged with bright yellow plastic bags. Also, we had two different times that the electrical outlet plug in the bathroom stopped working so we could not use our straightener. We had to call maintenance to come fix two different times. As well as to fix a light in the hallway in our room, they fixed it. It was a nice day. It just needs a little tender, loving care on the property and I'm happy that the staff was very nice. I would probably return for the price, but I just hope that they can work on their electric electricity/outlet problem.

As a Gold Elite Bonvoy member, I really appreciated being able to check in early with no hassle--they accommodated it right away. The airport shuttle was seamless and showed up right on schedule (runs every 30 minutes), which made arrival super easy. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and the whole place has that modern, upbeat Aloft vibe with a definite Cali twist. It was a little chilly during my stay, so I didn't get to enjoy the pool as much as I wanted, but the fire pit and lounge areas were awesome. My room was clean, comfortable, and the bed was amazing--slept better than I have in a while. What really made this stay stand out was the staff. Every interaction--from the first phone call to final checkout with Brenda--was warm, genuine, and made me feel like family. Huge shoutout to the whole team for making the experience memorable. The location is also a major plus. Tons of food options are within walking distance, and we were able to stroll over to Ralph's for snacks and groceries. My personal favorites: Starbucks right across the street and In-N-Out nearby. We Ubered to most places during our visit, and the location definitely helped keep costs down. It was also super easy for drivers to pick us up and drop us off in front of the hotel, which made getting around even smoother. Only minor concern: the gym had a bit of an odor that kept me from working out, but we got plenty of steps in during the trip, so no big deal. You just have to be patient--and willing to walk more than half a mile. The Huntington Beach-City Beach-on-Wednesdays-in-the-summer kid in me tells me that you have to pay to park at the beach. What, are you going to find some free parking somewhere on Beach Boulevard (where?) and then drag your boogie boards, cooler, Bing Tennis set, towels, umbrella, and sand toys along the sidewalk and then along the hot sand for more than a mile? You're crazy! And that quandary is why I'm reviewing Hermosa Beach's Municipal Parking lot. You definitely should look for some free street parking near the beach if you can find it, but there are meters everywhere, so if you're going to pay for parking, you might as well have easyish access to the beach, right? According to the website, the rate is $1.25 per hour until eight p.m., when it climbs to $1.50 per hour. It supposedly closes at two a.m., but there's a 72-hour maximum, so I don't know what that means, exactly. Do they charge you hourly up until 72 hours, or is that just the longest they'll leave your car there before they'll tow it? And is there a daily maximum? Again, I don't know. But the price isn't bad considering you probably won't spend more than four hours at this particular beach, unless you plan to shop and eat out and/or rent a bike for a long ride. It's not the cleanest structure in the world (there's sand everywhere), but it's by the beach, so it could be much dirtier and grodier. There are 300 total spaces on multiple levels, and I don't think I've ever seen it anywhere near full. If you're driving--and of course you are, because why else would you be looking up parking for Hermosa Beach?--reward yourself by going a little bit out of your way and picking up a delicious sandwich and deli side from Boccato's Groceries (https://www.yelp.com/biz/boccatos-groceries-hermosa-beach). Of the water alongside the mountains are breathtaking. I imagine the best time to come through is during the spring and summer. We have yet to experience the area during the fall and winter seasons. The pier itself is also home to the Roundhouse Aquarium at the end. Dogs are not allowed on the pier.

This pier is more of a take on the view type of pier. It's beautiful; you can see the ocean and feel the water breeze. It feels like you're in the ocean the further down you go, and the aquarium at the end is a huge, fun, free activity to do, especially with kids. Loved this pier; enjoyed the walk and the ocean breeze.
