From the time you're about 1000 feet from the place, you feel the old New England welcoming ambiance with beautiful views, bucolic scenery and an old converted 1700s farm turned brewery. Entering the venue, soft Celtic music plays in the background, lending a beautiful atmosphere accented by old farm tables, dark green wainscoting and mug club mugs lining the mouldings. The beer selections are superb. I had their IPA, aromatic and very tasty. Then the Stout, a strong tasting and aromatic dark brew. Correction: Tolerant staff - cuz, man we were difficult patrons! We took forever to decide and eventually, I think our server led the way... Met up with locals friends here for some post food brew. The beer was decent, not great. The sour-meh There was a concert upstairs & the place was packed. The barkeep gave me a solid book recommendation. I love the general space/ family style seating. I didn't see the bill but prices seemed average for the area. By the time we wrapped up our single pour, it was dead quiet, with only 1 other occupied table. Somewhat new to the area and have been trying new (to me) local breweries. Was happily impressed with everything about this place. I sampled 5 different style beers and they all were 4+ stars. Setting was awesome with a smallish tap room but outdoor porch seating as well. The whole vibe of the place was warm and inviting and the type of place you'd just want to relax and hang out at. Plenty of parking and lots of outdoor seating. Mac and cheese was tasty, would like to see a little more pulled pork on it. Sweet and spicy nuts were good and didn't last one when put on the table. Such a beautiful setting for such delicious farm to table (literally, from the farm on the property) food and yummy beer. The caprese salad special had three different types of summer tomatoes - who knew that there was a tomato called the mortgage lifter? Over the river and through the woods to this hidden jam of a Nano Brewery! Situated in a farmhouse at the top of a ridge, Blasty Bough is welcoming, tavern-feelling, dog loving brewery. We got to meet the owners and talk to the brewer about each of the 8 beers they had on tap and what was to come in the future. The tap room (outfitted for 16 taps) is on the first floor of a the house, with perfectly dimmed lighting, bench and chair seating and ambient scotish and folk music. An ideal for setting the scene on a winter's night for conversation and relaxing. This not a commercial brewery thrown in the back of a warehouse. This place has charm and makes want to settle in. The great beer makes you want to stay! I was so happy to be able try different beer styles instead a flight of IPAs, as we are seeing with so many new breweries. Fun micro brewery with a full range of beers! Currently there are 8 to try ranging from a stout, double ipa, kolsch, alt, red ale, pale ale etc. They were all really good but my faves were the Alt beer and the Blasty Bough Brewing! Currently you can only get tastings, but they are planning to eventually sell food as well and then you will be able to order full pours. The owner is a lot of fun to talk to while he pours you beers and tells you his story of becoming a brewery. One of the beers is even named after his dog! Plenty of indoor seating at the bar or tables as well as picnic tables outside on the porch. They also have a music venue upstairs with bands playing once or twice a month. Definitely worth a visit, I plan on bringing my parents next time, my dad would love their beers! read more

I cannot say enough about how incredible our experience was at this brewery. To start, my partner and I called to check if they were open, they were not, but they opened up for us anyways! Love the diverse farm scene, buildings with character and views of fields and mountains off in the distance. Visiting the area, we found and enjoyed this place so, that we came back the next day, as well. We sat at a table on the porch talking, eating, drinking, speaking with the owner, Dave and listened to birds. Not bad. For food, great veggie plate with humus and warm, fresh pita bread. And we also split the vegetarian chili and cornbread. Then, popcorn to pop things off, oh, I meant top things off. On our second visit the next day, it was beers and pico de gallo and chips. For a small space, there was not enough seating to accommodate the adult patrons. Fun little brewery that we stumbled on on our way to a small festival in epsom. We just stopped for a couple tasters and an appetizer. We had a great time. They mostly have apps. We had the hummus plate which was pretty good. They had a lot of fun games and the brewery is on top of a hill so the views are nice!
