    8 sample beers

We are SO glad to have visited this little nano brewery!!! This place is in the middle of nowhere, set back on a long dirt road, downstairs in a wooden barn. Maybe only 200 sq ft (if that) space inside; 1 tall table with 4 high stools, 2 leather chairs, rest of the space are standing room only. A tight fit, but so cool inside! Needless to say, beer only - they don't have the license to serve beer in pints, but you can get the 4 oz samples and growlers to go. The place was PACKED when we were here; but everyone was very friendly and shared the small space together. They had 8 beers on tap; we had to try all 8! Everything was really solid; my fav was the stout and hubby liked the IPA. We didn't get to talk to the brew master as it was so crowded, but really enjoyed the experience and would recommend this place to anyone who is passing through or vacationing nearby. Just a side note - the bathroom situation is very interesting... the toilet is a cross between portal potty and compose. A bit high up and there's actually a step stool for the ladies to step up to "sit" on the seat. Bathroom is not dirty and doesn't smell...but it is definitely a hole for the waste to go in; no flushable water. By the toilet, under the bucket sink (with bud light tap as the water faucet control!) there' a bucket of dirt. Sign says to put a scoop in after you poop (ha!). Not an ideal situation for female, but still better than portal potty.

Special experience! 4 of us came in on a slower Sunday and Steve the owner and brewer spent 2 hours talking to us about his brewery, vision, experiments, chemistry, old world brewing techniques, barrel aging and more. Wow! Out of the way and out of this world is right. We're coming back again!

Cozy little British Pub style brewery. A little out of the way but nice. Warm fire, a dozen beers to chose from the day we went. Quite a find. I came up from MA with a group of beer lovers. We ate at the Holy Grail on the way home. Great road trip. Thanks, Steve. (I hadn't seen him since college. he looks the same)

Picturesque scenery in the New Hampshire snow, we drove to a nearby smokehouse and then on the way back hit this place for a sample of some local beer. The hefeweizen was the best on tap so we took a growler to go - $12

    Happy people

This place is so unique, so special, so different from anything I've ever experienced (at a brewery or ever) that I can't wait to take more people here! The beer being delicious and varietal is a mere perk of time spent there. The owner/sole operator/craftsman to every detail of the place, was so kind, passionate, and genuine. He even took my uncle out on his big, yellow, 1950's Mercedes military vehicle just cause I asked him if he could have a photo next to it as he is a huge Mercedes enthusiast. I can't wait to go back!

    Chilling with Steve!

Wonderful experience! Wasn't sure what to expect down the long, narrow, windy dirt road. Then we met Steve and all was good. Great beers, great British atmosphere, great look! Thanks Steve.

    Thanks Steve!

This place is magical! Had the chance to come here with a large bachelor/bachelorette party, getting the whole brewery to ourselves. Steve was gracious enough to guide us all through a flight, going through each beer one by one with information about each. He really made the experience wonderful - you weren't just tasting beer, you were taking in the whole lovely place and the people behind it. And the place itself is fabulous - a little farm with the brewery in a deliciously smelling mill. This isn't your typical brewpub, it's all about the beer and atmosphere. Glad to have found such a gem.

The bartender, the owner was incredibly friendly. We got samplers of all eight of their options, and it was really wonderful to try the mall and 4 ounce volumes. The environment was warm and welcoming, and everyone seemed really happy there! It was a really great experience and we hope to come back someday! We are travelers from Boston and we are very happy that we spent time at this brewery :-)

Driving in I asked my husband I asked what Kettlehead is known for an he said: Beer. Yet somehow, I can't love Kettlehead. A few things occured that damaged the experience: 1. The waitress spilled a sampler all over my wristlet and cell phone. She was oblivious but she has been spilling it the whole walk to the table! She seamed put out i asked of they had bleach wipes as we were in from out of town and i didnt want mty cell phone smelling like beer all weekend. 2. The waitress stated the coin change machine is wonky and they don't own it. The coin machine worked fine but it was the first game we played, Tokyo Drift, that ate our money. I reported it and seamed like the guy didn't care. He didn't offer me a $1 to make up for it nor did he shut down the machine after my report. I feel like if you have it in your place, you should stand behind it. An issue, it should become yours. 3. The pretzels are terrible. They are like sliced and fried with no flavor. They looked like little hot dogs. We go to a ton of breweries and this is the worst pretzel experience we have ever had. Also, the waitress told us the mustard was the beer cheese and vice versa. My kid was not to happy when she ate mustard! But also, the worst beer cheese we have encountered as well. Her excuse, she has been up since 4am. Well, my husband wasn't wrong. He raved over their beer. Nobody was impressed with their food.
