Though I wasn't that impressed with my beer, the pretzel was served warm and soft but smaller than anticipated. The have free popcorn up for grabs which we took advantage of. Decent seating inside, although their was a wait. They serve food but we just kept with the pretzel. One of the latest delving with a craft brewery that I haven't tried before. Nice Thing was the name of the beer that Steve and I had. Nice Thing was a Hazy New England IPA that seems to be all the rage for about two years now. This beer had tropical, juicy and hoppy flavor highlights to it. Fairly refreshing in nature and smooth. This beer unfortunately we felt wasn't all that terribly unique... didn't quite have anything to make it memorable and therefore it is kind of like all the other New England IPA's you see these days. Perhaps trying some of their other beer choices would have been more appealing and we would have found something we felt was more memorable but it is what it is. read more

This place had a little bit of everything for everyone! Wide selection of beers, hard kombucha, hard seltzers. Free popcorn! My husband is a big IPA guy and said the (very very large selection of) IPAs were all amazing. I had the prickly pear wild ale which was so strange but in a good way! Very unique tasting. We got the pretzel, crab Rangoon dip, and the rosemary fries which were all delicious. The owner's father happened to be there with a group of friends and introduced himself to us and was just the most pleasant person! Our waitresses were very nice and attentive. Such a great local spot with lots of rotating flavors/drafts for every season! While many breweries have mediocre food, Stoneface prides itself on high quality food and beverages and they have never disappointed me. My go-to is always the burger, which is double smash style served with the most crispy fries known to man. Despite that being my staple, I always like to try whatever they're trying out for the season. Today, we had the sweet potato flatbread with blueberry goat cheese and it was to die for! Truly one of those kinds of dishes you'd expect of a "New American" hip restaurant that's absurdly expensive. Nahhh, you can get it right here on the seacoast in New Hampshire at Stoneface! Service is always exceptional with the food always being quick despite how busy they are and I've always had great interactions with the wait staff. Inside, it gives typical brewery with the high ceilings and wooden benches, but what really stands out about the space is the incredible artwork. Wonderful brewing goes on in this out of the way spot. It sits right next to a laundrymat in a small shopping area and you will be blown away by their brews and more than satisfied with their pizzas made right in front of you in a perfect brick styled oven. Stoneface is a brewery that is located just outside of Portsmouth in Newington, NH, however, no matter where you are, it is definitely a spot to check out. The venue of Stoneface is industrial with graffiti touches to give it an easy, cool vibe. The facility has a expansive bar with a variety of high tops, benches, and a back room that has larger benches for larger parties. The beer is consistently great, with a variety of options to please everyone's palate. Some of my favorites are the Level Up (IPA), Full Clip (IPA), and All the Raspberries and Blackberries (Berliner Weisse). Some of their recent releases such as the Imaginary Cartwheel (IPA) and their Imperial Berliner Weisse with Cranberry and Orange have also become a favorite. Their food menu is pretty extensive ranging some snacky foods to sandwiches and burgers. The Hush Hush Fries are definitely a go-to and worth a try, and I also really like their scallop roll. Their menu changes often, which is also a cool feature, but it typically centers around Asian-inspired dishes. Something that also sets Stoneface apart from other breweries is the price of their beers to go. The four packs range from $13-$18 with a majority being priced at $13. Wow, what a brewery. Right after trying the IPA I knew I had to buy a bunch, regardless of the price. A 4 pack was only $13 and an extra discount for buying a case, how can ya beat it? And then there was the food which topped most restaurants. I could eat the nashville hot wings every day, with a break here or there just to have the other flavors too. Everything though was great. The burger, Brussels sprouts, fries, and even the adult kids menu, a concept I absolutely love. If this were my neighborhood brewery, I'd hands down be a regular. read more

The chicken sandwich was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend that. The fries were good, nothing too special but they were actually potatoes. Unlike some of the fast food locations. I've been wanting to come here for a really long time, but 45 minutes just for beer seemed excessive. We made a plan to go for dinner tonight and I'm SO GLAD we did! Stoneface offers 6 oz or 16 oz pours of most of their beers. I got 6 oz pours of the strawberry Berliner Weisse and the All The Strawberries and Rhubarbs sours to start. Both were tart but refreshing. And I loved that they offered smaller pours and even flights, if that's what you're into. Committing to one beer can sometimes be stressful when you like variety. My partner and I moved on to food -- we split the buffalo chicken fries, I got two mahi tacos, and he got the fried chicken thigh sandwich. Oh. My. Gosh. The food was SO GOOD! Spicy in all the right ways, not too heavy on any one sauce or dressing. I really can't recommend the buffalo chicken fries enough. I'm sure I'll be feeling them tomorrow, but I'll also be dreaming about how good they were for a long time to come. I closed out with a Hefeweizen, which... no complaints there either. Last bit: I'm giving this place five stars for the service. The place wasn't packed, but it was busy enough, and we never felt pestered or ignored. Came here for the first time this weekend and were amazed! We hadn't heard anything about this place. They do regular beer releases and seem to have a focus on IPAs at the moment. We enjoyed their RIS Pinot the best but a close second was the Raspberry Berliner. Food looked amazing so we had to order some of course. The menu is full of basic food with unique twists. Pretty, damn, sure..this is now my husband's new fave brewery in the USA. Not that it is new. But new to him. We have visited over 250 breweries so this is pretty high praise from the man. A lot of breweries just make beer their main thing and then have some sub par food options; but not Stoneface. Their food is very good and the beer is unreal. Can't go wrong with a smash burger here. There's nothing overly unique about it other than the fact that is very minimally greasy. They just do the simple things right. The double clip is unreal on tap and I'm a big fan of their PB Chocolate stout as well. They have a ton of killer beer and if your here on the right day they will have special brews like Forklift Unicorn or Imaginary Cartwheels. Definitely will be back. read more

This place is fairly new -- it opened in this lot in Newington about three months ago as we were told. The beer here is amazing and they even have a meats and cheeses menu. I tried a German-style beer and I don't even remember the name of it...it started with a 'K'. It was one of the best beers I have ever had in my life. Was there after a business meeting. Not my first time... but I've only been a handful at most. Food was delicious. I had a burger and their pretzel puff sticks. Nice. Service is on point. Great job by all there. It seemed like everyone that went by asked me if I was all set at some point. Phenomenal hospitality. Beer was solid. My first one was a bit lacking, but the doppelbock was good. My major problem was with the variety; I like to jump around and try a little of wverything, but at first glance there was NO POINT in getting a sampler.
