My favorite fast fired pizza spot! Blaze has really tasty fast fired pizzas. Their oven gets an incredible char and they have a good selection of toppings. I usually just get a build your own with a couple veggie toppings. I especially love getting the roasted garlic on top. Their cheesy bread is also very solid! read more

Been wanting to try this place for a year and a half and from a recommendation of a friend's friend. Was not disappointed! The pizzas only come in what seems to be an 11" option, the dough is fresh and cooked on a stone, pizzas are a bit thin but with so many options for cheese and toppings it's not an issue. Way cheaper than I expected, my two topping pizza was only $9 and some change before my drink. Gotta say, had some high expectations from trying the chain in the Northeast. To share it with Starbucks may have been a bad business move. I had to circle a few times because the lot was full. Then I came in and was treated with what seemed to be a modest line. Little did I know I would be waiting for about 30-35 minutes. The girl who was 4-5 people away from the ordering counter turned to a friend in a spot behind me to say "I don't think we're going to make practice, I've stood here for 25 min." I was shocked because usually Blaze (in other locations I've tried) is quick and fast! Is it only CT locations that have the policy of 180 seconds or less to cook? Waiting in line I got to read a few articles and talk with other customers who also were surprised at the line. They even said it's usually a little faster. I'll give it that benefit of the doubt. Periodically would see the people at the counter taking breaks with still a line almost out the door. By the time I got to order, I seemed to be rushed because I was asking too many questions. I got my pizza and went back to the hotel. Thank goodness I was kind of looking closely at my food since a few of the onions (which I'm allergic to) made its way into the pizza, along with some other ingredients I didn't order. The onions only made it on to one part of the pizza, so I just left that part out. I understand in a make your own environment there can be cross contamination, but I've just never seen it at other locations of Blaze. The experience could've been better service and time wise. Good pizza reminds me of pizza roto we have back in madison. Where to start pizzas where all made custom anyway you want. Lots of toppings to choose from and spicey red sauce that was new. Prices where alot cheaper than pizza roto and quality was about the same which is good because both places absolutely rock. I visited for the first time today, arriving when they opened at 11 am with about 6 people in line ahead of me. The ordering process seemed slow. One person was still preparing crusts one by one. Everyone was very nice. Although there was nothing wrong with the pizza besides being greasier than I would like, there was also nothing memorable about it. I was hoping to find it similar to Pizzafire, but no. Only the edge of the crust was crispy. Also, no paper plates were available, which made it tough to eat from the aluminum tray lined with a piece of paper. I see no reason to drive 30 minutes to return. read more

We went through the line and paid but then decided on ordering two more for our boyfriends at home. I ordered mine a custom one, with mozzarella, green peppers, mushrooms, and sausage. Another Blaze, another good experience. First off, the customer service here is excellent. The minute you walk in they're already taking care of you. While visiting Canton area and searching my phone for good and cheap eateries, somehow this place was filtered out of my searches. I then realized for whatever reason their Yelp page displays two dollar signs ($$), instead of one ($), so this explains why it wasn't visible on my phone. The pizza was very consistent with other Blaze restaurants, the place was clean and is well located next to a Starbucks near the mall. This, of course, depends on your pizza-eating preferences too: don't come here looking for a Chicago-style, deep-dish pizza. The interior is clean, neat, and modern. My only complaint about this particular location is twofold, but related to customer service: 1.) one of the employees yells a word, which was indistinct to my ears, very loudly when a pizza is ready (which becomes a nuisance) and 2.) there was some disarray at the cash register when I ordered because the cashier disappeared for a few minutes. The red sauce was slightly spicy, the cheese and pepperoni was tasty. The crust was crispy. The vegetables looked fresh. Parking is very limited.
