My boyfriend and I went into this location and experienced horrible service. When we first walked in and were standing waiting to order, the staff completely ignored us and were too busy laughing and talking to each other. After a couple minutes of being ignored, my boyfriend asked if they were only taking only orders. They said no and proceeded to ask what we wanted with an attitude. We gave our order and watched them start making a bunch of different orders right in front of us and completely ignore us for the next couple of minutes. The staff was super loud and acted like they were at a party. We literally decided to walk out because we had no idea if they were even going go start preparing our pizzas anytime soon. I had not eaten the whole day and was staying awake with a cup of coffee. I needed to eat some vegetables so I ordered Blaze Pizza from Postmates. When the pizza arrived, the first thing I noticed was the spinach thrown onto the pizza. The pizza was not even cut into slices; there was a single slash down the right side of the pizza. It was undercooked, cold, and burnt at the bottom. It The spinach tasted rotten and looked very dirty and brown. This was a disappointing experience because they did not use fresh ingredients and I was very hungry. I even had a stomach ache after eating. 0/10 will never eat again. read more

Salads were looking old, uninviting; we really surprised to see them leave food looking like that. It doesn't take long to bake, the crusts were burned but toppings still feel cool. Siracha bottles don't get cleaned up after usage ( dirty and ozzing on the tips..). Recently visited the location, during my visit I experienced the worst service from one particular worker. Going through the line was a hassle as I had to constantly repeat myself about my order. The blonde girl who was wearing a shift leader shirt rushed me and didnt take the time and effort to make my pizza to the blaze standard...she was very unprofessional and rude and I wouldn't go back if she was working. This blaze pizza location is my favorite! I feel like my pizza is always prepared the way i would prepare my own to a "T" but most important is how i like my pizza cooked. This was my favorite pizza place until I came in today and was disrespected by one of the team members by the name of Jessica. I have a medical disorder and she made fun of me. I'm self conscience as it is, but to have someone in the service industry make fun of me in front of a store full of people was just outright cruel. Do NOT go to this Blaze. I tried to bring this to the attention of the manager she told me she was the manager, which made the situation even worse. Best customizable pizza place i've been to yet! Wasnt to sure to try one of the recipe pizzas or the customizable one, when i asked Ralph what he likes i tried it and it was super good. INCREDIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! My colleagues and I put a to-go order in last week and we didn't realize until later that it was wrong. I couldn't make it back that day so I called and Jessica was incredibly helpful and said they'd take care of me when I returned. Not sure if it would be honored without her there - i went in today and the young men, (Jonathan and I forget the other one), that were working were helpful and made sure to replace my order and honor her word even though she wasn't present! (Although I did make sure to bring a receipt so they knew I wasn't trying to just get a free meal). Good food, dirty restaurant. This was my first time at any Blaze pIzza. I had heard amazing things about the food, and yes it was good. The staff was friendly and the place was doing great Sunday afternoon business. My complaints: this restaurant is filthy. We sat at a table top and the window seals were covered with grime. The windows were dirty and actually had old food on them...red pizza sauce and bits of old cheese. A restaurant is not responsible for the outside of the windows, but the inside along with the window seals...come on! The floor was messy and one of the beach seats was pretty torn up. I went into the bathroom and the ladies room was not clean. Thankfully the toilets did not look too dirty but the floors around the toilets, even the lower walls were covered in something black...not sure what that is about. I even saw greasy fingerprints on the stall door. The sink itself was fine, but again, the floors and walls around it were dirty. I peeked into the other stall...same thing. Yuk! Staff: about 5 or 6 people were working and were all courteous. However one man with a beard should have had a beard net as he was cutting pizza. One female employee had a lot of hair hanging out of her ponytail over the pizza toppings. Secure the hair or use a hairnet. While I waited to pay the lady in front of me said the same thing...these people should have their hair covered and/or secured...I was not the only one who noticed. Food: it was good. They were out of mushrooms and red onions...two staples for pizza. 1 1/2 hours into opening is too early to run out of toppings. My husband had to improvise on his bbq chicken pizza but he still enjoyed it My Green stripe pizza was good, and the chocolate chip cookie was yummy. I won't be back to this location, the lack of cleanliness was just off putting. These are management issues which are easily fixed...hopefully the owners take notice. read more

So this place has a B rating now as of 2/20/17. I walked in today and i can see why. Dirty!!!!!! Cheese on the floor! Ingredients cross contaminating. And I ordered a pizza with veggies only and when i got home to eat it there was a piece of meat in my mouth. Not good for vegetarians or vegans. I've left a review before and still love this place, however, I'm pretty upset. I ordered a pizza online and ordered it with vegan cheese. When I drove home and began eating it, i realized it was made with mozzarella cheese. It tasted and looked different so I'm assuming it wasn't vegan cheese. My stomach began acting up, so it strengthens my assumption. I ate about one and a half slices before realizing. Went in couple days ago. Worst ambience alive. Most unwelcoming place I've gone to in a while. Went here with my lady, and was super excited to see that renovation was done to whole surrounding plaza, so being pizza fans, Blaze never disappointed in the past. Coming in, no welcome, no music, could've came into an indoor mortuary for all I'd known. Luckily, there was no one in line so I'm guessing we can get our food pretty fast... wrong... wrong! The staff were conversing behind the counter about their gnarly weekend they had while my lady and I showed a clear presence browsing through the many toppings they had. Once they flocked back to their stations like a solid 3 minutes later, I noticed the guy telling about his gnarly story was not even on the clock... A monotonous looking lady with a nose ring behind the counter told us the infamous "we'll be right with you" line and as she said that with no expression at all, the haste she had of merely cleaning her station and pressing the dough was laughable to a sloth. Meanwhile, I see there's a demeaning old man in the back who's in charge of folding boxes constantly giving us the stink eye as if he wants to fight... LoL ok guy... Finally we're helped by Ms. NoseRing Lady who's clearly showing us by her face that her life is insignificant and her job sucks. Granted it's been a solid 5 minutes total with no one in line but us. Building our pizza wasn't a problem. For all I know, you can point at objects in a zoo that even a monkey would get the hint to pick up something, so assembling was no biggy. The pricing was never a problem so I guess that can contribute to the star that I rated this place. Surprised knowing Mr.Crabby in the back making the boxes will also be baking our masterpieces, we just patiently waited at our seats, but I made sure to keep an eye out because d/t my yelp brethren, I got a tip that this place loves to burn crusts... I told my lady about the tip and we agreed to give him the benefit of the doubt... LoL... As the smell of burnt crust encapsulated us in this misleading trap hole of a restaurant, I went up to Mr.Crabby while he pulled our pizzas out and shuffled some pizzas around in oven. I stood merely 5 ft from him to his left side behind the counter "excuse me" I said humbly.... No response, not even a head nod. "excuse me" i said again, "can we have pesto sauce on our pizza?" finally! I got a head nod, but he continued to shuffle his burnt pizzas while ours were out... Ms.NoseRing Lady then came to the rescue and pesto'd one of our pizzas, and while Mr.Crabby saw she was stealing his thunder, grabbed the pesto from her and sauced our other pizza. LoL "wtf is going in this place" i said to myself in my mind. Irritated, I brought the pizzas back to me and my loved one, and while we were on the same page about this place's experience, we noted that our crusts were indeed burnt... Luckily for Mr.Crabby, I actually like a double baked/crispy crust but I mean our pizzas were burnt. Toppings, sauce, and everything else was good. I mean, I picked my damn toppings to my likings so ya, it tasted good. At the end of our eating journey, we saw that business started picking up with even a decent line going. Ms.NoseRing Lady continued to be monotonous and boring looking as always until I saw that her face brightened upon seeing a certain someone. Matter of fact, everyone in that place brightened up and I swear to god, after 30 minutes of being here and how many people already came in, it's first time I hear, and even in a jokingly manner "welcome to Blaze pizza!". I turn around, and apparently its another worker off the clock ordering pizza to complement the rest of the stooges working here. Even Mr.Crabby started dancing and smiling. I've never seen Ms.NoseRing Lady smile or raise her eyebrows until she was professionally serving her Blaze counterpart like an excited little school girl. Service sucks. Ambience sucks. Professionalism sucks. Foods good, but remember you're the one building it so it really doesn't count. Wouldn't recommend anyone to go to this spot. Save your frustration and go to Blaze on Beach Blvd, or even Mainplace Mall. read more
