Where has Nilly's been all my life. What a great place to visit and enjoy some quality burgers, fries, service, and drinks. I went and got fries, double burger w/ everything, and a vanilla milkshake which came out to about $25. The quality spoke for itself. The burger patty is freshly made and you can see it from the open kitchen they got going on. I have to highlight their pickles which have a great crunch and taste to em' (Nilly's is doing it right) Another highlight was the milkshake! Truly delicious and freshly made from Thrifty's ice cream! It was soft serve blended up goodness. A perfect way to balance the fries which are seasoned in their own spices. Overall great experience for my first time there

I got the single patty burger with pickles inside with a side of crinkle cut fries - it was amazing! The patty was super juicy and the fresh pickles cut the saltiness out. The fries were really crispy and salty just the way I like them

Yelp brought us in for a fantastic lunch. Ordered two fries with Ranch, a single cheese burger, a single with pastrami, and a single with chili. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant is tucked in a shopping center and was spotless with plenty of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The meat of the burgers was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The potato buns were soft and fresh. Pickles were bread&butter instead of dill. Highly recommend the fries and the house ranch.

So, I will give them points for the burger actually being flavorful, but i have to admit that i was pretty disappointed when we got our food. This burger was so small, for $9.. no tomatoes no lettuce available just cheese onions and the patty. It literally fit in the palm of my hand we were so shocked when we got them. It was $43 for 2 burgers 2 fries and 2 canned sodas. The service there was great the employee was super nice but I'm sorry in my opinion the burgers are not worth it.

If you want to splurge on a burger, Nilly's is it. It's quite pricey but the quality is excellent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I think they recently expanded their space because it was much smaller before. There are plenty of tables and seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their standard single and double burgers come with cheese, onions, scratch pickles, and yellow mustard on a potato roll. I don't like these pickles so I have them removed. The burgers are small but if you order with fries, they're very filling. Their chili cheese fries are insane! I do wish their drinks were a little cooler. They have some bottled and canned drink options, but they weren't very cold so we had to ask for a cup of ice.

A great local spot for solid burgers and good service. I've been here many times over the years. The dining area is spacious and bright--a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy some tasty grub. The menu hasn't changed all that much since they opened--made-to-order burgers, hot dogs, shakes, and loaded fries, plus some specialty items. The burger patty is made with a special blend of ground beef prepared daily, so you know it's fresh. You can taste the quality in every ingredient. My usual is a single cheeseburger with crinkle-cut fries and a drink. I've also got the double cheeseburger, which is filling. The beef patty is seasoned well and cooked perfectly. It's not overly smashed and still has a good, beefy mouthfeel, with a bit of char on the edges. The popular house-made pickles are not really my jam, so I leave them out. They have a sweeter taste than regular pickles. Just not for me. I recently tried the Chili Hot Dog and enjoyed that as well. The hot dog is Vienna beef with natural casing for that pleasant snap. The chili (without beans) is flavorful and goes well with fries and burgers, too. There are plenty of cold bottled and canned drinks, as well as complimentary water you can pour yourself. The prices have generally increased over the years, which is understandable, but the quality and service are worth it. I can't wait to return.

Dropped in today since it's been bookmarked for me to visit, I was in the area so why not. Service was great, thankfully I didn't get a crazy crowd to order food so it was also quick. We ordered a double and a side of fries. The burger is good, pickles delicious. This is one of those spots you only see tucked in dtla where all the cool kids live so it was nice to have this in our area. Prices. $9 single $12 for double, I get it food cost are high. The burger is worth the hype. The crinkle cut fries? $5 too pricey in my humble opinion. All in all it's good and I definitely will be back to try the pastrami fries

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Casual ambiance, clean restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Smash burger joint . Filling chili cheese crinkle cut fries with onions/sour cream, pickles. Good burger , hip energy & good customer service. Many people visit for the coconut ube shake. It was sold out , didn't get to try it. Maybe next time !

Pastrami fries, breakfast sandwich, chili cheese hot fog, and a regular hot dog
    Ashley S.

What delicious food! I loved the pickles and onions on the pastrami fries, the pastrami itself was soooo good. Highly recommend. The chili cheese easily soaks through the hot dog bun and makes it a bit messy so I prefer the regular hot dog. Loved all the toppings. The sausage itself is perfect. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area. Good amount of seating in a bright dinning space. Plenty of parking as well. The staff is all focused and very helpful. Thanks Nilly's!!

Found this place through TikTok and came by after church on a Sunday afternoon with a group of four. We were all pleasantly surprised by how big the restaurant actually is -- there's plenty of seating, so it didn't feel cramped even though it was pretty busy. Since it was the weekend, my boyfriend and I went straight for the longanisa breakfast sandwich. I love me some longanisa and this one did not disappoint. The longanisa patty was juicy, the hashbrown added the perfect crispy crunch, and everything came together so well on the pandesal. We also split a large chili cheese fries, which were great, and I loved that they came with pickles on the side. My friends ordered the single burger and said the patty was super juicy and delicious as well. Despite how busy it was for a Sunday afternoon, the service was solid and the food came out reasonably fast -- we didn't feel like we were waiting long at all. Overall, such a solid spot. I'd definitely come back, especially on a weekend so I can get that longanisa sandwich again.

A family owned diner that has a newly designed/addition, last time I came here they didn't have the extra dining space. There is hip hop played lightly in the background as you enjoy your meal. The staff is friendly and fast with their service. I ordered their Patty Melt which had a crispy crust, with a well balance of patty, grilled onions, and cheese. Loved the flavors and looking forward to coming back.

All the things. Single with chili che fries, extra jalapeños, extra pickles and some ranch. Meal of perfection right here.

Ask the Community - Nilly's Burgers

If I order the impossible cheeseless will it be vegan friendly?

Do their chili cheese fries have beans in the chili?

    No beans in the chili.

Is the chili gluten free and bean free?

Does the potato bun contains egg, milk or dairy?

Martin potato rolls contain non-fat milk and real butter

Will they serve it with raw onions if you want?

They're super flexible and I'd guess they'd be happy to use raw onions if you wish. They do season/marinate the onions, which make them turn out even better when sauteed!

Do you have lettuce and tomatoes for your burgers?

There are none. But thats what makes the burger pure and focused on the meat and cheese quality. The grilled onions bliss the burger.

Large Chili cheese fries costs $12.14 at the time of this writing. Chili and cheese make a perfect combo. Not too salty either. You can see some greasy layer on top, so dont expect anything healthy. The cheese hits different and isnt generic Kraft cheese you can get at the store in case you were wondering, "we have cheese at home." It's nothing like what you can buy at the grocery store. It is worth the extra dollar. Service was quick. Friendly cashier. Practically empty restaurant inside since most people use the drive thru or order to go. I would buy again. Their fries are peak.

It reminds me of my childhood in the best way. There's just something about a classic burger with that Thousand Island spread that you don't find everywhere anymore. My go-to order is the bacon cheeseburger with chili cheese fries, and it never disappoints. The flavors are exactly what you want, simple, satisfying, and consistently good. I always get a side of ranch too, which just takes everything up a notch. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. If I'm taking it to go, I like to get the lettuce and tomato on the side so the burger doesn't get soggy, I definitely recommend doing that. Price-wise, it is a little on the higher side for a burger and fries combo, but honestly, the quality and taste make it worth it. It's one of those spots you go to when you want something you know is going to be good every time.

According to their website, they also make appearances at Breweries and Food events, so you may see them out and about. It popped up on my radar through yelp and I wanted to check it out as a local. I had their "black market burger", which was a double smash burger on a grill top with grilled onions and on a potato bun. They mentioned that their fries are cooked in duck fat, which typically gives a savory flavor to fries that you don't get in seed oils. They also mentioned their "new school american cheese" is new school because it's real cheese, but it tastes and melts like the American cheese. They were friendly and they brought it to my car as soon as my order was ready. I think that this burger would be nice with a beer at a brewery and, if you check out their website, then you could see when/where that happens. As it stands, I enjoyed their namesake burger and fries; however, I'd probably want to go with one of their more dressed up burgers or chili fries and I'd BYOB if I were to come back to see them at LB Towne Center, which has no less than a half dozen options for burgers. I definitely respect the grind. If you do come to check it out, check their hours before you head over to the gas station or check their website to go to their appearances at local breweries (which is probably how I'd rather have it). I hope they consider going to busier food events where their offerings can be paired with other food experiences. Soft drink options would also be nice. Again - I respect the grind and think that if you want to try a double smash burger on a potato bun, then you should consider giving it a shot.

(My boyfriend is one of the founders of the team so when I sent him a photo of the menu, I realized he won't reply til he has time & the game had just ended and he has to help take down everything.) We ordered the black market burger, the shady Swiss, and the bootlegger fries. Everything was phenomenal! I actually ordered my Swiss burger mainly for my boyfriend to try, because he likes mushrooms and I do not, but to my surprise I scarfed down the burger within minutes! That potato bun, the garlic aioli, the patty itself-oh my goodness-heaven. The burger was packed plenty with mushrooms & I enjoyed it all. I ordered the fries because I saw that they were thick cut and after hearing they were cooked in duck fat made me intrigued to see what the difference in taste would be & I was beyond impressed. They were just cooked to perfection with the perfect ratio from crispy crunchy goodness to the soft potato filling. My initial plan on the fries was to share half with my boyfriend (he only ordered the burger anyway), but my lack of discipline left him with just 1/4 of the fries He finally was able to eat 30 minutes after I received the food and his immediate reaction to biting into the burger was that it was really good! When he tried the fries he was impressed that they were still crispy and enjoyed the fries as much as I did. I wish they were coming back to next week's game, but I will definitely be there for every game they're popping up at (and to support my bf's team ofc ) .

The evening started off strong, as we stopped by during Hoppy Hour (around 9ish). There wasn't a wait, and it wasn't too busy, so we were seated right away. The front staff was nice and polite. She gave us the option of either a tall round table or a shorter rectangular table. We of course, opted for the slightly shorter (height-wise) rectangular table. Once we were seated, we were given the menu, and the waitress told us that we would be right with us. She stopped by to ask about drinks, and we opted for water. She dropped off water and came back with perfect timing because by then we were ready to order. I also love the simplicity of the menu. There really aren't too many options where you feel overwhelmed, but there are still enough choices to pick from. Shout out to the pastrami quesadilla, I didn't realize it had been swapped for a new menu item until I asked about it this time around, but I'll be waiting for its comeback! We ordered a few items: the mac and cheese balls, the Wagyu bone marrow burger with truffle fries, and a double smash burger with ribbed finger potatoes. We had to get the mac and cheese balls since it was Hoppy Hour! I also didn't realize that on Wednesdays, the double smash burgers are half off. I'll definitely remember that for next time. After we ordered, the food came out quicker than I expected. It was a nice surprise. I think the first item came out about 10 minutes after our initial order. The mac and cheese balls came out hot, which was great. The breading made them super crispy and gave a nice crunch that balanced really well with the softer, chewier mac and cheese inside. I was glad the inside wasn't too runny since that would have made it like lava! I didn't see a cheese pull this time, but next time I'll try again to see if I can catch one. It was a great start to the meal. The burgers came out shortly after we finished the mac and cheese balls. I totally forgot that the truffle fries came with sauce. I should have asked for the sauce on the side, but it wasn't a problem that it was added on top of the fries. It just made them get soggy a bit faster, but that's no problem; it just means I've got to work faster! The burger was good and came out super juicy. I asked for it medium, and it looked about medium, so no complaints here! I never realized before, but the bread was so fluffy... it was a super pillowy bun with a nice bounce to it. It definitely helped balance out the meatiness of the patty. The hint of tomato gave it a nice, refreshing bite and really helped cut through the richness of the meat. The onions also added a nice sweetness to the burger, which was appreciated. I also snuck a bite of the ribbed potatoes, and they were good as well. They were a bit crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside, with just a touch of saltiness. I also stole a pickle from the double smash and realized I probably should have asked for pickles on my burger, but I'll remember that for my next visit!

I went with the fish katsu curry, hubby got the chicken katsu curry. Nice crunch outside, both protein types cooked appropriately. I preferred the fish, the texture was slightly softer/flaky as expected for fish. There's a little extra charge for spice levels. Good flavor curry, I wish there was a little more curry sauce, I do like to slather my rice :D lol! The mac salad and pickled veggies also good. Comparable price point to other curry places with the serving size. It's solid enough for me to return :) I also liked the egg salad sandwich, bread is nice and soft, egg salad is not drenched w mayo, very good egg ratio, I tasted a small hint of lemon, nice little snacker. The Korean Gangjung chicken tenders soy garlic had a nice flavor as well, a sweet and salty sticky glaze, chicken was cooked nice, not overly cooked, good chicken to batter coating ratio.
