I walked in with my wife for lunch and were greeted by this girl as we moved down the line the two girls helping us on the line were having a conversation not work related and when I asked for extra cheese they gave my wife an attitude and kept forgetting our topping because she was busy chatting it up. Unfortunately when I got my pizza the bottom was burnt and the guy handling the oven looked overwhelmed with the orders. The manager Carlos stepped in and he also burned my pizza. 3.5 stars: I really hate to see myself updating my prior 5-star review of this place to a 3.5 star rating. No exaggeration, but my 4 year brother and I come here 2-3 times a week (it's his fave!) and never had a problem. Service by Lynx is always, ALWAYS on point and my order never gets messed up. But today was different, and I was hoping she'd be there. The staff today wasn't very welcoming, and wasn't greeted when I walked in the door. Called in today 1/13/16 and spoke to Jessica, in hopes to place an order through the phone since I wanted to order multiple pizzas. I was told they don't take phone orders, but I was welcome to place orders online, assuring me that the process would be easy and accurate since I was a bit hesitant about it. They ensured me that my pizza would be pre-made and will be fired up once I arrive at my promised time. My pick-up time was 12:30pm, and I arrived there by 12:10pm since my brother and I wanted to order another pizza to dine in. I informed them about my pick-up order of 3 pizzas and was told that they didn't receive any order. They ended up finding the order and assured me that they'd make it and have it ready by 12:30pm. No rush, since we were dining in anyway. But by 12:30pm, my brother and I were already finished with our meal, and my pick up order was nowhere to be found. I asked for them to follow up, and they said it was being made at that very moment. Turned around, there was no pizza being made, nothing in the oven, except for the other 2-3 parties waiting for their food. They noticed that I kept looking back, and by 12:45pm, I was given a voucher for a free pizza on my next visit for the inconvenience. Though it was greatly appreciated, I was hoping to leave by 12:30pm, 12:40 at the very latest. I mean, the website advertises that your pizza will be ready to be fired up for about 180 seconds once I arrive, and I was disappointed that nothing was even made. And no, they weren't busy when I arrived. Only two other ladies after me. Their lunch rush started around 12:20-12:30pm, which was what I was trying to avoid. That's why I placed that order, so they wouldn't be backed up on orders by the time the rush arrives. I guess it didn't make a difference. Understandable that everything is new to them, but hopefully management trains them more on online orders. It's very inconvenient for the people who place orders online, hoping to be in and out of the restaurant at a desired time, and leaving 30 mins later instead. Promise pick-up time was at 12:30pm & I walked out the door with my pizzas at 1pm. They did seem apologetic though, and again, the free pizza voucher wasn't needed, but it was greatly appreciated. Staff was friendly. I loved the pizza crust compared to pieology (pieology usually is soggy). If you like the pesto drizzle I recommend to get it on the side because it does look a little oily and doesn't have that much flavor. But overall pizza was good read more

Today I had the best pizza I've had from a blaze. I decided to try something new and throw out all my original ingredients. Liz helped me all down the line and was so wonderful to me! She helped me build this perfect pizza that made my taste buds yell with excitement. She was super nice and friendly talking to me about how she liked my hair. I would give this place half a star if I could. Hubby and I came in, based on a to-go menu we had. I ordered a gluten free pizza, and the guy helping us (who appeared to be some type of manager) said it would be $3.00 more. My hubby asked where on here, holding up the menu, does it say gluten free is more? He had no answer. I went ahead and ordered. Kept having to ask for more toppings, as they would put on very little. My hubby in the meantime handed the "manager" the to go menu, so he could see for himself. My pizza went in to cook, and it took almost 10 minutes! During this time, the "manager" called the Police! He said he was being harassed. Really?? Because we ask about a charge that isn't listed? This dude should not be in customer service! The police laughed, left. I got my pizza. my husband and I are big fan of pizza. We have tried many locations. We were both exhausted after a long day at hospital and decided to take a quick lunch at this places. Way so much better than the Blaze near our house. Better than pizza theory. same level witj Pieology in Fullerton. My husband and I had a really excellent pizza at Blaze Cerritos on that day. Dough is perfectly baked. Crunchy on the side and bottom. Dough still soft in the middle.Sauce is juicy. the cheese was melting. This place has amazing Pizza! The dough is made fresh and the pizza is assembled for you right as you tell the Pizza Chef what you want on it. I love that you can add more sauce if that's your thing, add whatever meat or veggies you like. I love you can pick from a huge selection of fresh meat, veggies and spices. The pizzas are a"single serving"size, but are a big single! A big guy with a hearty appetite can easily eat a whole pizza, but most women I see take about a half or a quarter of their pizza home as leftovers. So, I can recommend, if there are two of you, get a pizza made to your liking, and also get a salad. Then you have a good satisfying meal for two! Okay, I have never done that, because I am such a pizza lover, I need my own and I will eat it all! LOL! This is an excellent lunch spot as I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes for my pizza to be ready even on the busiest of days at lunchtime. This would be a Five Star review, except that the music in this place is very loud. I went in with my family 2 weeks ago a.d it was super busy.... but I was extremely amazed at how fast they were getting the line moving and what great customer service they were providing as well. Katie was the one who attended us during the making of our Pizza, she was sweet, kind and super fast. She was very fluent when it came to knowing all the details of making the pizza. Jessica was the manager on duty and she was super thoughtful in coming by while we were eating asking us if we were ok and if we needed anything else. This Blaze is the Blaze my husband and i go to since it is local to where we live and they have always been accommodating with my allergy. Some girlfriends and i decided to meet up for dinner this particular night and I chose Blaze because i have a dairy allergy. I actually introduced the 3 women i was meeting to this blaze a few months ago. I decided to go in and start my order before the other women arrived since i have an allergy and it normally takes a little longer. I always ask for my pizza to get made off the normal food line with red sauce, vegan cheese and olives from the back since they tend to not care about cross contamination. When i walked in there were no customers in line. I kindly asked the gentleman who greeted me first if someone could change their gloves and make my simple pizza off the line. He was super nice and said it would not be a problem. When Shannell walked over and he explained the situation to her she rolled her eyes like i can control that i have an allergy. She then began to prepare my pizza and attempted to use all the ingredients on the line. I explained again that i needed her to get the ingredients from the back due to my allergy. Her response, "OKAY (with a nice eye roll)." SO here i am feeling guilty that i even have an allergy and she just adds to it with her attitude. She puts the sauce and olives on and goes to the back for the cheese. She comes back and says, "we don't have anymore vegan cheese." I was shocked. I honestly did not believe her because she was so put out since the beginning. I was like that's impossible. Another gentleman came over and said, "we really are out of vegan cheese." I was like this is ridiculous, now i can't eat (mind you i am 8 1/2 months pregnant so skipping a meal isn't an option) and i had all my friends meet here to eat (by now they all had their pizzas). I asked for the corporate phone number and she again rolled her eyes and said, "It's not our fault the shipment comes in tomorrow." She clearly was missing it. After she stormed to the back and got me the number she handed me the number and then said in case you ever want to come back here is a coupon for a free pizza. Like because i was calling corporate and complaining now she wants to be nice. I went ahead next-door to the Habit who was more than accommodating. Bottom line...I realize that places run out of supplies, but the attitude of Shannell was ridiculous as well as the fact that she didn't try to help me find something else i could eat. i will not be going back to this store. Man do I love this place affordable and tasty. U get to put a mountain load of toppings and cheese for no additional cost. My girlfriend and I were invited for a treat to there family night we both felt welcome by there employees and distinct manager Carlos who was at the door. He gave us a Lil blaze pizza history . I had only been to one once before in south gate and it's was good but toinght was even better. I like my pizza extra crispy wit a load of cheese and meats, they had no problem meeting my needs. I just told them I want my crust well down and it was done to perfection. Mark one the employees who invited me to the joint took care of all my needs at the table his was polite and respectful and was walking around being really help full to me and the guest needs. This place is utterly DISGUSTING! Returning from a previous visit, I see that they have received a B rating from the health department. The dining room was very filthy upon walking in and I viewed that non-employees were making pizza boxes out in the open around customers who were trying to enjoy their meal. They also had a little girl making them! Walking up to order I was met with two girls (kc and marina) having a conversation completely ignoring my presence. Once I cleared my throat the blonde finally looked at me annoyed and asked what I wanted to order very rudely. Looking at the ingredients on the line, it was very messy and gross. There was much cross contamination and build up on the containers that I changed my mind and left! I see why they got a B. Management should be DEALT with or REPLACED here as there was lack of supervision and organization. I will definitely NOT return! Such a horrific store, do not come here! read more
