I've had this place bookmarked for several years on yelp, but I finally decided to check this place out tonight. I ordered the Peanut Chicken bowl with broccoli and the Orange Chicken bowl with broccoli. The Peanut Chicken bowl was delicious! The broccoli was very fresh as well. The Orange Chicken wasn't my favorite but tasted very healthy. One bad note about my first experience at this restaurant was the employee who took my order. She made it a point to tell us they were closing at 7pm and even gave us our food that I ordered 'for here' packed up 'to-go'. The food being packed up wasnt the real issue, but more so her un-friendly attitude when taking our order was what I thought was the issue. Also, as she was bringing in the furniture from outside she must have been eager to get off of work at 7pm sharp because she was hastily moving the tables and chairs in a loud, aggressive manner. Ample parking, easy to find, not busy. Fast casual, no ambiance. We ordered the house noodle. Sauce was too sweet. In addition, the cook forgot an ingredient (mushrooms) which was the item i wanted most in that particular entree. We pointed it out after searching high and low in our bowl. We were told that mushrooms were definitely in there and if we wanted extra next time, to let them know. I thought that was fine and all but there were no mushrooms in our bowl. We've been here before, and the owner has always been able to make our meal non-spicy with the sauce on the side, so this experience was disappointing. When I ordered, I specifically asked for the sauce on the side and for the dish to be non-spicy. After waiting, I was told the cook had already mixed everything together, including the noodles, tofu, and sauces. The employee offered to remake it, but I was in a hurry and couldn't wait for another order. The food ended up being much spicier than expected and could not be separated. After pickup, my child had a strong reaction to the spice despite my request for a non-spicy meal, and we ended up throwing the food away when we got home. I understand mistakes can happen, but I was disappointed there was no immediate adjustment or compensation at the time. Given our past positive experiences, this visit was frustrating. Update: After my original review, the business reached out and invited us back. I returned and the order was prepared correctly this time with the sauce on the side and non-spicy as requested. Came here the other day and was surprised at how good it is. It's healthy food option but they definitely don't skip on the flavor. We had the kung pao chicken, peanut chicken, and dumplings. I appreciate that they let you choose white meat or dark meat for your chicken which can help a lot when dieting. We went with dark meat for both dishes. Peanut chicken was a bit like Thai satay. Good flavor and didn't feel bloated or gross after like we usually do with Thai food. Kung pao chicken was very flavorful. Definitely would recommend this. It tastes exactly what you think it tastes like but without the crappy feeling afterwards. The dumplings were good as well and actually really packed with meat in the filling. I wasn't a huge fan of the dipping sauce it came with but it was good with the soy sauce. Service was great they were very nice and super helpful when we were trying to understand the menu. Having worked in kitchen ops for a meal prep service previously, I'm pretty critical when it comes to judging meal prep companies but WOW am I pleasantly surprised by B Nutritious! My husband and I have been getting meals delivered for a while now (Factor) and have tried so many other food prep services as well but I'm always left feeling bored by the food. Honestly, it's because most of the time, the food is very bland, the ingredient quality is low, and the actual cuisine just doesn't hold my interest. So I've been searching for a place that makes healthy versions of the foods I know and love (Asian food!) that fits in with my health needs and work schedule... and I'm so glad to have found B Nutritious because they definitely check all the boxes! The storefront was also very clean and tidy with a lovely interior - it's actually amazing to be able to just come and pick up the food rather than stay feeling guilty (environmentally) about all the deliveries we were getting with other bigger brands. I happen to be in this area so I looked up places where I could use my GrubHub credit, and it was a match. The order process went perfectly. They got my order and had it ready for when I arrived. Piping hot, well packed with care, nice presentation, but most importantly delicious and nutritious food. I upgraded my Peanut Chicken Bowl with breast instead of dark meat + broccoli. So often at takeout places, the broccoli and rice will be mushy. Not so, here! Bright, moderately firm, fresh green broccoli and the rice was fine. The star was the peanut chicken. Wow! I loved it. Nutty, roasty, toasty and slightly sweet. I wanted more of that sauce!! The chicken tasted fresh. Not dry or chewy. This was clearly a meal made with care. Thank you! The staff was welcoming and kind. They were prompt to attend to me. The eatery is clean and bright. They have free Wi-Fi (but it didn't work for me at the little table outside). I only have 2 constructive comments. Consider cutting the broccoli smaller. They were like trees that I had to take a big bite into. Lol. I came here for a quick lunch over the weekend. This place is a little pricier compared to other options, but its to be expected because of how healthy it is. I got the orange chicken bowl (white meat) with brown rice and a side of asparagus and for sure it was a healthier alternative to the deep fried chinese style orange chicken lol. But as someone who is counting macros this is a great option for eating out. Service was pretty fast for me when I ordered, and there were a couple of table inside that I could eat at. Came here on a whim after visiting my Optometrist. Ironically located right next door to Baskin Robbins, B Nutritious offers a variety of balanced meal options and even meal prep. While the meal prep options looked pretty good, I can only speak for the lunch we had there. The food was pretty fresh. House salad was plentiful and vibrant.
