Hot pizza with the freshest ingredients! I love that I get to pick and choose what I want and it always taste great. The staff is friendly and helpful too! Quick and easy as it should be!

Tasty pizza for a late night dinner. As I'm traveling on the road I appreciate the late hours! The only thing is, I felt a little more veggies would have been awesome but I was full so it worked out.

This is my absolute favorite pizza place ever. I love the amount of food you get for the price and the customization. They have an insane amount of topping options. And it actually does come out fast! They know me so well, I go there way too often, lol! The brownie and cookie are also SO delicious, as well as their house made drinks. Such a great place.

The pizza was ok. Though the crust was very good the toppings were mediocre. We ordered the meat eater and the white top. The meatballs on the meat eater were not very good, we picked them off and the white top had little flavor. We also ordered the garlic knots but they had very little flavor as well. If it weren't for the crust I would give it 2 stars

Pizza was very good. Started with a Meat Eater on a high rise dough. Added extras from a wide assortment of toppings at no charge. Their lemonade was great too. On par with Raising Canes.

Pizza great. A do again. Real loud. Easy fix, add flags from ceiling on on walls Could use a sign directing folks to "start" "enter" or something telling you where to begin. Fast service. Fast cooking process. Great folks. Neat layout. Best in town.

Meat lovers pizza. I chose pepperoni Italian sausage, Italian meatballs, salami, black olives, mushrooms, jalapeños, onions

Our office order is typically around $120 every time we go, so we've been loyal customers for a while. Today, we ordered two pizzas with extra sauce -- one was supposed to come with balsamic glaze and the other with pepper jelly, which we order often. Unfortunately, neither sauce was included. We didn't realize until we had already driven all the way back to Moss Street from Carencro. When we called, the employee seemed very annoyed by the situation. We were told we couldn't get a refund (which was completely fine with us), but that we could drive back to pick up the sauces. We chose to go back, and when we arrived, the cups were partially thrown at my coworker and the staff was extremely rude. I then called to speak with a manager to calmly explain the situation, but the manager was also rude, dismissive, and ended up hanging up on me mid-conversation. Mistakes happen, and we completely understand that. What was disappointing was the way the situation was handled and the disrespect shown afterward. Because of this experience, our office will unfortunately no longer be supporting Pizza Amore in Carencro.

So, when we finally returned to Lafayette I couldn't wait for my family to experience the most authentic Italian restaurant in the city. The decor had not changed one bit, so I had hope that nothing else did. Alas, it did. We had pasta and pizza, and neither was anywhere near what used to be served here. The spaghetti and sauce looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp long enough to dry it out, and the pizza was so underwhelming that my son considered having me evaluated for speaking of this place so highly. I've come to learn that the third generation is in charge now, but it's apparent no one cares in the kitchen. To rely on the name alone will not change the fact the sub par food is being served. I will consider that it may have been an off night. It happens. But in Lafayette an off night will cost you a customer who will never return. Competing with Imoelli's, Marcello's, and now Saricca's and Cugino, you're going to need to step it up. Pizza Artista has some of the best pies in town, and it puts to shame what came out of Alesi's kitchen. I wish someone could save this institution. It was a tradition, but now they've lost the tradition.

I was blown away by how delicious the crust and toppings were! We frequented the other local shop in town, but Deano's was our special treat then. When I returned to Lafayette almost 50 years later I was excited to see them still in business. And that first bite brought back so many memories! But then I discovered their muffuletta! I just had to have one. Now, I went to school in New Orleans, and I often visited the old Red Dog Saloon on Gen Mouton, so I can confidently state that I'm a connoisseur of the sandwich. Again, Deano's hit it out of the park! I don't know how they can do so many things so well, but they do, time and time again. And uh oh, they opened one on my side of town less than two miles from my house. This is going to take some self-control. Well, my doctor made me take some self control, so I thought I'd be limited to salads. But wait! Then they come out with this ridiculous Guiltless Pie! Can't be good if it's good for you, right? Oh, sweet summer child, you would be wrong if you thought that. It is, like everything Deano's, delicious! Now I can't wait to go back! I mean, it's only a couple of miles away. I could walk!

We were seated in a booth, which would've been great, but it was right next to a large fish tank. That turned into a steady stream of kids running back and forth to look at the fish. On the positive side, our waitress was excellent, attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. We ordered the Pizza Village Special (no olives), and that's where they really delivered. The pizza was very good, thin, crispy crust with great flavor. Exactly what you want when you come here. I said just our pizza. 20 mins later she comes back to inform me that the kitchen had lost the ticket and they were just getting started on the pizzas and it would take 30 mins. I said no o cancel the order. She okay and went to the back. A few minutes later she came back and said it would only take 15 minutes. So we went forward with the pizzas. They came out about 10 mins later. 1 hour and 20 minutes after we arrived. She apologized but there was no visit from management and no offer to discount or do anything to make up for their mistake. So, we went to Italy and came back changed people. In fact, I started making my own pasta being inspired by what I experienced. There is a tremendous difference between fresh and shelf. We finally made it back to Sarrica's last Saturday, and I don't know how one could be more impressed, but they did it again! We got there early and immediately got a table. A half hour later the place was getting packed. We went straight to the Primo skipping the antipasto this time. Our food arrived quickly, and at first the portion looked smaller than before. But I was deceived! The dish was full! And delicious! And gone! I'm usually not known for cleaning my plate, but had we been in a darker corner I probably would be licking what's left! No, seriously, it's that good! This place would be popular in Sicily or Rome or Tuscany! You can tell someone in the kitchen is proud of what they're serving to be so consistent. There's no question we'll be returning - if we find a parking space!
