I went here for a yelp event back in the spring time and finally made my way here on my own and it was just as good as the first time! The first time I don't remember if there was an option for thick crust or not (there probably was; the options are limitless here, so I was probably too overwhelmed and excited to eat pizza that I didn't notice). Anyway, so I ended up with the thin crust the first time, and it was so good I didn't even notice I wasn't eating thick crust (always my preference). When I went last night, I got the thick crust (they call it high-rise crust) and it was amazing! Cooked perfectly to where the crust wasn't hard and crunchy, but it also wasn't under-cooked. I love that it's chipotle-style and that you can order as many toppings as you want for one price (about $8-$11 depending on what type of crust you want)! I hate only being able to order 2 toppings at most pizza joints, because there are always at least 3 I always want, and this place has it all and more! They even have vegan cheese and gluten-free crust! There are also more options than just marinara sauce for your pizza, you can have a white pizza, or even a pesto pizza! Each pizza is about 6 slices, the perfect personal pizza size, and it takes less than 5 minutes for them to cook it in the oven. Lastly, they have more than just soda for drink options, they also have 4 different varieties of lemonade for all you lemonade fans. This place is seriously amazing. I live about 30 minutes away, so I hardly ever want to make the trek out there when I'm hungry, but if I lived in Laurel, I would definitely be a regular there! I love that for one price you can add as much or as little to a pizza as your heart desires. In doing so I went all in and created my own lil masterpiece that I thoroughly enjoyed and had enough left over for dinner. There is an option to order online and pick up but I thought it was cool to see the fresh topping options and see my pie bubbling in the oven as I waited patiently to introduce myself. There were a few employees with locks, added hair/extensions etc that had on the Blaze baseball caps but not hairnets. For peace of mind and enhanced sanitation a hairnet never hurt nobody. I'm happy that the cashier let me know that they do offer military discounts. The wait from start to finish is minimal. Of course you have to have some patience as your pie cooks. On my next visit, I'll have to try the blood orange lemonade. Plenty of parking throughout the area and even if you can't park directly out front, it'll be just a short walk. This is my GO TO PIZZA SPOT! Been coming since it opened! I really enjoy the flat bread style and the ability to customize my pie as i like it each time I go - down to the amount of sauce to put on it. Every now and then there can be a bottleneck at the point of order due to lack of dough prepared but the process is pretty fast. I really really love blaze pizza. I'm from NyC and I'm used to a slice of pizza. Here at blaze you get a whole pie, I always ask for mine to be crispy. The link in is my favorite pizza. They are not stingy with toppings and the staff is very friendly and upbeat. The blood orange lemonade has to be the reason I would go back every day. I mean this lemonade is to die for. If you go at a busier time it will take a little bit, but they are personal size pizzas so not a terribly long wait either way. Patient staff on my first visit explained everything to me with a smile :) [Food and drink puts Blaze in the $$ category on a technicality, but it's closer to the 11 range for one person than the 30 unless you are buying for a few people yourself.] read more

My daughter loves to order Pizza at places like Blaze where you can customize your pie and they bake it fresh for you. She loves the place in Bowie called Mod Pizza and she orders from there whenever she can. However, we had a late evening and I decided to check out Blaze. I was sooo happy I did! Blaze sits at the top of the shopping center near the movie theater. Parking it not as fun here as the parking garage is closer to the movie theater. However, we got lucky and a space opened up near the front of Blaze. Upon entry, I could tell that this place was a fan favorite. There were plenty of customers dining in with their food. We were greeted by a nice young lady who explained their pie choices. They even have a cauliflower crust for those low carbers. I went for a more classic pie! I ordered a custom pie with italian sausage, extra cheese, mushrooms and onions. And I had to get a little balsamic drizzle at the end. My daughter ordered chicken, bacon and cheese. Both pies didn't take long to cook and we were out the door for about $20. The staff preparing the food were very nice. The young lady was very patient with my picky yet indecisive child. And the young man who gave us the pie was extremely nice as well. When we got home and tasted our pies, I was in heaven. My pizza had the right amount of char on the crust and this pizza by far was better than Mod. My daughter even agreed! I enjoy coming here. They're service is good and friendly. I like the fact that they have options for vegans too with non-dairy cheese. People usually choose the build your own pizza option but they also have options from the menu. There's always enough seating, even when it's crowded. They have delicious juice options. I received a message from the business, basically saying they are apologetic and hoped more for my visit. I was told they make their sauces and their meatballs were nitrate free. I want to say I couldn't tell the sauce was made, and I wasn't debating what was in it. I was making a bold flat out statement that it just didn't smell or taste like turkey. Leaving that behind, I received a card for a free pizza. I gave one away for someone else to try and yesterday Sept 17th I ate their. I decided not to make my own and went for their veg out pizza with added tomatoes. In the end I'd give this place an ok. I think knowing what's on a pizza should be the indicator for how long you should leave it in the oven the crust was a good color but due to the veggies and tomatoes it created alot of liquid making it a bit soggy. I was by myself and ate 7 slices. It turned out to be tastey except for having to eat the soggy parts I just quickly chomped on them. I would suggest for pizzas like that a longer time so the crust would hold better. Cuz the last pizza I got the crust was a bit to hard. Overall better than my first experience. Still some of the same problems but, if before I wasn't gona come back for 8months I'd say shorten that. The service was awesome from the pie makers to the lady refilling the lemonade to the guy wiping tables and sweeping floors! The Red Vine pizza is simply to "die for"! Great concept! It's the pizza version of chipotle or subway. They have standard signature pizzas or you can build your own. I got the build your own pizza, at a reasonable price. A pizza and drink set me back around $10. The pizza is about 11", a pretty decent size. I topped my pizza with mozzarella cheese, Italian sausage, meatballs, red onion, olives and basil. You can also ask to put more of any topping you pick. The pizza was a little flat for my liking. But perfect if you like flatbread pizza! You have to try their blood orange lemonade! They have penalty of seating. Also if you can't finish your pizza, they have plenty of to go boxes made. So all you have to do is grab and box and pack up the rest of your pizza. read more

This pains me but OMG this was awful. I eat at Blaze Pizza's all over the country and I have never experienced it tasting like this. Mushy, uncooked on the top layer. I had a high rise and it was completely flat like a flatbread. Not good - did someone forget to put the yeast in? The toppings were fine - as was the cheese but the pizza was not cooked well - it was very unevenly cooked. I got worried I was eating raw dough - so bailed 1/2 way. I bought them and brought them home (10 minute drive) or I'd of promptly returned it and asked them for another or refund. I'm not a picky rater nor am I a picky eater but this was an absolute disaster. I would not return to this particular location if this is the quality of pizza they produce. Also the guy working to get the pizza's out did not utter a single word even though I asked him several questions. He just nodded once. The other two times he looked at me. So, service is not the forte here - lower your expectations. I can deal with bad service - but not when it tastes awful. My daughter put hers in the oven - cooked it for 10 more minutes but it didn't make much difference. I suspect the dough is the problem. I do have to point out Blaze is my favorite pizza place - I adore it and eat there regularly. I asked about the second one, but the lady cooking was two busy to follow up. 20 min later we asked again. The pizza hadn't even been prepared yet. We took our one cold pizza home. I went to Blaze with two coworkers today to celebrate my birthday. It was our first time eating at Blaze and it will not be the last! When we opened the door, the smell of pizza goodness wafted into your face! I got into line and decided I wanted a keto pizza with all the toppings. The staff was super friendly and when my coworker mentioned it was my birthday yesterday, the manager turned around (from putting dough on wood pizza holders) and said that he'd like to give me a free dessert! Okay, thanks! That was so unnecessary, but I took him up on the offer. He even jumped on the line to help with my pizza construction. I love a manager like that. I went to get napkins and the manager asked what I had done to my foot (currently in a boot). He genuinely showed interest in his customers and staff. Very refreshing. My pizza came out of the oven in what felt like 2 minutes and it was so delicious. The toppings were fresh, the balsamic glaze was tangy and let me tell you about my free brownie. The brownie was everything you wanted it to be- moist and delicious. The manager came over and asked us how our lunch was and gave us some info on fundraising. I can't say enough good things about Blaze- it was definitely a great idea to #blaze today. The manager that helped us so much was named Art. My pizza was okay. Got a lot of toppings hoping it would've been great but it wasn't that great. The chicken looked a bit nasty but tasted okay. The roasted garlic had the consistency of potatoes which kind of ruined my pizza. The pesto garlic cheesy bread was some of the saddest cheesy bread i've ever had from a pizza restaurant. Blaze is AMAZING! We hadn't really come here for pizza much. My sons 7th birthday party was supposed to be at our house outside, but it poured all weekend and was going to be cold. We decided to have a movie party at the theatre, and Blaze hosted the "after party." They were so accommodating with only two days notice. They let me come in and decorate with balloons and and a banner and we brought in our own cake. The staff came over repeatedly to make sure we had everything we needed, and didn't mind 8 7-year-olds playing with balloons. The pizza was awesome! The managers were so chill and helpful. They made us large Pizzas even though they typically make smaller, single-serve types. The pizza rocked!! AND was SO affordable!! We paid less for pizza that easily served 10 kids and their parents than we did on popcorn at the theatre for just the invitees. We've gone to this location many times since it opened and always have a nice experience. The pizza comes out within 5-7 minutes and is delicious! Even if there is a line it always goes very quickly. We usually get a cheese pizza for the kids and veggie for ourselves. They also have yummy brownies which they will warm up upon request. I came here for the first time mainly because i had a free pizza coupon but i am very glad that i stopped by. When i walked in the employee asked if i had been here before and if i wanted the spiel on how it all works. I ordered one of their already made pizzas, but added some other things that i wanted on it including the spicy red sauce that they have. The sauce was amazing!! The pizza was delicious and hot and its a lot of food for the price. My only gripe would be whatever they use on the bottom of the pizza, which I'm sure is what helps give it its great taste, left my fingers a tad bit greasy. Good stuff though. read more

This place is great. We went to the movies and were going to grab dinner before it started. We saw a long line and realized it was pi day and they were selling pizzas for $3.14. Obvious we had to celebrate pi and gets some pizzas. We literally waited in line for an HOUR the line was so long. And when we ordered no one was rude. They didn't skimp on toppings. They did a great job and we will absolutely come back. Hart and Briana made my pizza and they were great. Hart was not annoyed when I asked for pesto on the crust and white sauce in the middle.
