    Matcha Latte (8/10)
    Jaseph S.

The perfect place in Laurel to grab a quick match, coffee, or pressed juice! It's a friendly atmosphere with personable staff. My favorite bite on the menu is the curry chickpea wrap. It's flavorful and filling! The matcha is pretty tastey and there are several flavors to add to the mix to have it made to your liking. There's also a run club that meets at the coffee shop routinely to encourage fitness in the community. I thoroughly enjoy my visit each time! I'll be back for a pressed juice and curry chickpea wrap.

Been here before and definitely had to come back! My friend got the lavender latte and monkey frappe (banana etc) and I got the Femne Noir , one of the Valentines special. You can order in the kiosk or on the counter. Cozy vibes and great atmosphere, and great lattes!

This is my go to cafe in Laurel. I love the artwork and ambiance every time I visit. Recently I tried the pesto salad and wasn't all that impressed. I understand it's a healthy menu but me and my colleagues thought it could use more flavor. It's still a refreshing dish but I would go for the toast which is my favorite item on their menu, specifically the tomato. My favorite coffee order: chai tea latte + almond milk + cookie butter.

I finally made it to this cute little café and was very pleased with the service. It isn't a huge café, but there are more than enough tables to bring a laptop, grab and seat and do some work if needed. The atmosphere was chill, light tunes were playing overhead and our barristers were attentive. I ordered a golden latte, and ja cappuccino chocolate muffin as I just had lunch and only wanted a little snack. The golden latte wasn't heavy on the turmeric, which was great. It was warm, comforting and had just the right amount of sweetness to it. The muffin was soft and serve served warm. I loved wall decor. I want to try one of their bowls, and another variety of their lattes so I plan to visit again.

Love Life Café Review Definitely a nice atmosphere to sit, have coffee, or bring your laptop to get some work done. I ordered the Dirty Chai with banana flavoring -- it was about $10 and tasted pretty good! I probably should've added an extra shot for a stronger kick, but overall it was a great experience. I'll definitely be visiting again! #LoveLifeCafe #CoffeeLovers #CafeVibes #DirtyChai #MiamiEats #CafeReview #WorkAndSip #CoffeeBreak

Chick Chickpea Veggie Wrap. It's unbelievably delicious.

This place is a hidden jem. I stopped by here for breakfast and got the chickpea and veggie wrap. I can't say this enough, it's the best breakfast you'll ever have. Every bite you take will make you moan a little on the inside bc it is so delicious. I can eat this everyday. I highly recommend this place. (their sweet iced tea is absolutely on point, too.)

Ordered the ramen, dumplings, and fried ice cream. Everything was so good and fresh out.

Needed an energy boost and found this super cute BO Vegan coffee shop! The menu is abundant and there is something for everyone that is looking for a healthier alternative meal and drink. I love how inviting the space is as soon as you walk in! The staff is cordial and helpful. Plenty of seating available. And I absolutely adored all of the artistic touches throughout the Cafe! You can tell that someone put a lot of time and love into this space and it works exceptionally well! I chose to order a drink from the seasonal menu called A Link to the Past as decaf and half sweet with oat milk in the iced 12 oz option. It was perfect! I grabbed the Local Tomato Toast as my breakfast/brunch option and it was so delicious! OMG. I wish I had of ordered another one to go! I did grab an overnight carrot cake quinoa bowl and a liver lover juice to go. I've never had a sweetened version of quinoa and now I want to try it that way more often! So good! The juice was tasty, too! There is ample parking in the lot. The prices were on par considering the ingredients and the quality of food that is offered there. I was told to try the same toast but with avocado spread vs pesto the next time as a nice switch up. I'll keep that in mind! I live in NoVa but travel to the Laurel area maybe infrequently. I will definitely make this a staple stop every time I visit now and can't wait to try something else new! If you are vegan/vegetarian or just looking for clean eating options, definitely give this sweet cafe a try and feel the love for yourself.

I stopped by to support a black business. I ordered a latte with a caramel drizzled. The service was good. I had tho wait a little while. The ambiance is great. I love the paintings that are hanging. My only criticism is the coffee was a whopping $8.00 for a large.

Hummus Avocado Toast -- 15/10 so good !
    Delana A.

I love this place & always stop by whenever I'm in town. You can't go wrong w anything on their menu. I've had pastries, breakfast sandwiches , & their butternut squash soup which was 10/10 amazing! What really surprised me was their hummus avocado toast w crispy onion pieces!! By far the best avocado toast i've paid for. Their service is always really great, too! Everyone back there is super helpful & quick to get your order right. They have free wifi and overall it's a chill place to sit and chat or do work. Love supporting this black owned business!

    Avocado Toast

I lucked up a found this black owned cafe while looking for a Tropical Smoothie Cafe which is directly next door. I decided to give this cafe a try and I am so glad I did. The cafe has amazing artwork and decor on the wall. I ordered a açaí bowl and decided to add the avocado toast to eat on my drive back home. While waiting for my order, I noticed a community board in which I added my business card. My açaí bowl was so good. I wasn't a fan of the avocado toast as it just didn't suit my taste buds. I will definitely return when in the area.

    Moni T.

I came back, and this time around I got the avocado toast and apple turnover, both were enjoyable! I ordered online and picked it up in the store. By the time I arrived, my order was ready. I took it to go, but the atmosphere in this place remains serene and inviting!

The decor was very nice, quaint, and beautifully Afrocentric, which I loved. I started with the waffle, turkey bacon, and eggs; . I also tried the crepe version of the bacon, egg, and cheese, which was really good. For something sweet, I went with the s'mores crepe and it did not disappoint. The hot chocolate was also a hit--very rich and comforting. What made the experience even better is that this is a small, newly opened woman & black-owned business, only about 4 months in, and they're already doing things right. Overall, a solid brunch spot with great vibes, good food, and excellent service. Definitely worth checking out and supporting.

There was also a beautiful mural. In terms of food, I was really excited to try both the sweet and savory crepes. There was one couple ahead of us who walked in at the same time as us, so while their order was being made, we perused the menu. There was only one employee at the shop making the crepes so their order took awhile (they waited at least 15 minutes for two crepes). We finally got to put our order in and the employee said it'll be 15 mins for what we ordered (chicken & shrooms crepe, shrimply the best crepe, and s'mores crepe). Each crepe is moderately priced but I was pleasantly surprised at how big the crepes were. However, while we were waiting for ours to be made, the couple who got their order ahead of ours came back saying there was a foreign object in their crepe and they wanted a refund because they had no time to wait for a new one to be made. The employee seemed to not be sure how to refund the order and had to make a call which made our wait even longer. It also made me a little nervous for what I'd find in my crepe - but our crepes seemed okay. The employee also forgot to make our s'mores crepe so there was more of a wait for that, but we dined in so it wasn't a huge deal. The service overall could be improved with better staff training and just more staff in general to handle orders even on what they might think is a slow day. We eventually got our crepes and the shrimp crepe was delicious and had a little spicy kick to it which i loved. It also had a little salad in there so half the crepe was cold which I didn't love but could deal with. The chicken & mushroom crepe was also fantastic and had even more flavor and a kick to it. The s'mores crepe was also a perfect sweet finisher to the meal. All things considered, I'd come back once in a blue moon, but once they add more staff and have a more efficient process, I'd come back more often for those delicious crepes.
