Not sure how much I'm in love with the concept of this type of pizza place, which is basically the same as Pizza Studio & Pizza Rev and possibly others. More or less usual selection of crusts, but not as many as Pizza Studio. They are somewhat larger, however and slightly thicker also. They have something called a spicy sauce, which evidently uses garlic as the heat. Kind of funny. Roasted garlic is also available if you want to make your own. Given their pre-build choices are all kind of funky, this is what I went for. Toppings are not bad, but staff cleanliness is hugely problematic, with stray ingredients in nearly every one of the actual ingredient tins. Very sloppy work there. They also nicely create bottlenecks, which sort of defeats the purpose of having a fast pizza conveyer oven, though this one uses fire rather than convection for the heat. They're certainly not the only place guilty of inefficiency, but the entire premise is speed. Treats and drink selection also need work as does the interior spacing. Outdoor seating is fine, but the communal thing...ugh. On the plus, there is a pretty decent value to dollar ratio here for what you get for your plunked-down shekels, but I can't say I would put it above Pizza Studio, which is still the reigning leader of this type of place. The use of fire on pizzas is great and conceptually, this should be a huge winner, but execution of everything that goes on it is still lacking. Solid, but not spectacular. read more

My boyfriend and I came to blaze pizza on my birthday on a last minute decision. Definitely wasn't disappointed. Brandon treated us amazing and made our first experience here perfect. I've tried most of the QSR pizza concepts in the area and Blaze is one of my favorites. Their ingredients are a little higher quality than most competitors and their red sauce has a nice flavor that isn't loaded with Sugar. The crust is average, but it's acceptable compared to the cardboard some of the other restaurants are serving. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I went in this past Saturday Evening and the customer service was horrible! The red head lady (who turns out to be the manager), kept calling the employees names and telling them they were doing everything wrong. She grabbed my pizza out of the girl's hand and starting asking me what else I wanted on my pizza but, she was very rude and sassy. She was THROWING my toppings on my pizza!! It was embarrassing enough for me to hear it, but to see the look on the girl's face was worse! She seemed to be upset that there were so many people or something. I have been to a lot of made to order pizza restaurants. I have never experienced such excellent service as I did today at Blaze Pizza in Lehi, UT. Each person involved in making my pizza asked if the amount was sufficient after adding each topping. That has never happened at any of the competitors restaurants. Each and every staff member was happy and helpful. It was a great experience. I highly recommend Blaze. read more

The only reason I'm not giving this place a one star is because the food is good and two workers were actually good. Everyone else provided terrible service. I've been to multiple other Blaze's and this was by far the worst. They lost the paper to my third pizza and so it took them ten minutes after I got my first two to get my last one. The only reason why I even got them is because I had to speak up TWICE and ask. Chris, who I presume is the manager bc of how she took charge very efficiently, ended up helping us out and provided excellent service and a free pizza next time bc of how bad our service was. Quinn, another worker, was also awesome and checked in at our table if he could do anything for us. Every single other worker needs to be retrained there as the service was terrible. They not only take forever but they all look like they don't wanna be there and look so miserable and tired of helping people. So, good pizza and all but why is it sooo dirty in here??? Plastic gloves and food all over the floor by the oven. The food station, where you pick toppings and sauce is just a total mess!! Toppings are spilling in to each other and cheese is everywhere.. sauces are everywhere... I don't get it! The sitting area was a mess too, there was not a clean table to be found. Unbelievably slow service. Waited for a half hour in line, and upon getting to the station to order, about 10 online orders came in everything stopped to fill those. Waited another 10 minutes for that. After paying and waiting to box the to go orders, it was an hour total. It was an absolute chaotic mess. Dirty kitchen, staff who had no idea what they were doing. Went there on a Tuesday night to get two pizzas to go. Ended up being there for 30 minutes before getting our food. There was no urgency in the line. All the employees were chatting with one another, looking confused on how to make a pizza. I had to ask if there was a manager working because I was so surprised of the behaviors. They said there was one but I have no idea who it was. Food tasted fine but I prefer pizza studio. Too bad. read more

Unfortunately I can't review the Orem location specifically because they don't seem to have a yelp page yet. I saw the new Orem location mentioned on an ad and figured I would try them out today. I went there and noticed signs in the window saying free pizza today. I was greeted outside the door by an employee with a rubber stamp asking if I was there for free pizza. I said sure, and she said I have to follow them on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter to get it. I explained I don't have those on my phone because I don't need constant updates on my fake online life to feel validated every second of the day, but before I could explain I didn't care about getting a freebie she said she would ask her manager about it. The manager came to the door and the employee explained my situation. The manager said if I tell 5 people about them then they will let me have free pizza. I said ok. Then nothing happened. They all got distracted talking to other people. I wasn't sure if he meant tell 5 people and then come back, or come in and have free pizza then tell 5 people later. When no one gave me a stamp I told the manager I didn't care about free pizza, I didn't come just to get free pizza, I just wanted to try them out. Before I could say I would gladly pay for my order without getting something for free, he cut me off and said "just tell 5 people about us and we'll give you free pizza, if we give you something you have to give us something in return." Instead of wasting my time trying to convince him that I wanted to pay for my food I just left because he seemed interested in letting me in only if I wanted free food. I was treated like a teenager or a starving college student who was trying to get something for nothing even though I'm clearly not a teenager (mid 30's and professionally dressed) and would have gladly paid for my order. If they were really interested in having my good opinion then they could have just said with a smile 'come on in, no problem, just make sure to tell 5 people afterward how good we were.' Instead it's like he wanted me to sign a contract before letting me in when all I wanted was to pay for my own lunch and try out a new place. Unfortunately I can't review the pizza because I didn't get to try any, but the way they handled this promo makes me not want to go back. They should have just hung a sign up saying 'Millennials Welcome! Everyone else come back another day.' If the manager treats customers like criminals who are trying to get something for nothing even though they are literally giving away pizza to everyone then I'm not sure I care to give them my business. Though technically since I've written this then I've told at least 5 people about them (they didn't say it had to be positive) so does that mean I get free pizza now? Since they can't offer me a freebie in the hopes that I will change this I'll clarify that I don't care about getting free food today or in the future. I just want to feel welcomed whether you offer a promo or not. I truly hope others had a better experience than me, especially the millennials who have their social media ready at all times to exchange for almost anything including their immortal souls. read more

i was super excited to find a vegan option in utah valley. however, i was super disappointed when your employees didn't change their gloves to put vegan cheese on my pizza. they had been handling cheese and meat and didn't even give me a chance to ask them kindly to change their gloves. they were also rushing me. i am disappointed. probably won't return unless they train their employees to correctly handle vegan pizza. read more

I have to say the pizza was really good and the service was excellent! I have been trying all the new pizza joints around the thanksgiving point area and really was surprised how tasty a regular cheese pizza was. The food is amazing! But the time it takes for the employees to make a pizza is insane. I've never experienced slower service. I really want to train them all on efficiency. Again the pizzas are amazing but it almost pains me to watch how slow they are at apply the toppings. Huge suggestion is have one or two people at each station. Yes it may cause them to pay more to hire more employees. But, the amount of time customers have to wait is going to cause potential customers to walk out and take their money elsewhere!! This is pizza at it's best. Literally the best bang for your buck. It is fast, fun, and fantastic. You get to pick your crust, sauce, toppings, etc. I usually go with red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, chicken, and black olives. While it sounds a bit odd it is stellar. If Kels is at the oven you know that your pizza will be cooked to perfection. A definite must if you like pizza. Their signature Agua Fresca drinks are also a nice refreshing touch to the overall aesthetic and taste of the place. read more
