Firebird Pizza and Pasta is always a solid choice if you want some pretty good food. Me and my family will over come if we have a coupon though. It's always VERY exciting when we do. I look forward to eating here every time! I'm not exactly sure why, but the Alfredo is just the BEST. The texture of the pasta is perfect and the taste of the Alfredo sauce is delightful. My kids are obsessed with this place, particularly the pepperoni pizza- it's our go-to pizza joint! I love their dough, it's soft and fluffy with just a touch of sweet. We stopped in here first a quick bite to eat. It's a somewhat small location, but appeared to be very busy. I ordered a pepperoni calzone. It was alright, but not overly amazing. My husband ordered a small chicken artichoke pizza. He said it was pretty good and liked the crust. Service was meh, we had to wait while for the cashier to get a phone order in before we could order our meal, and again for our order. ' They use the chanciest plastic fork known to all mankind. I don't usually leave mediocre reviews but i felt like the prices here warranted one. I got the smallest size meat lovers pizza and a small cheesy bread. The pizza was good and the bread was good as well, I did find it barely warm and cold by the time i got home. The reason for the bad review is because of prices - my small pizza was a little over $14. I thought that wouldn't be too bad since sometimes small pizzas at places like this are still pretty large, but this pizza was definitely small. It's about the same size as the cheesy bread, as shown in pictures. This made me pretty disappointed because the cheesy bread was almost $10 less, but the same size. It just isn't totally adding up to me, plus they didn't tell me the sauces were extra so the meal was not cheap. Probably won't be going back read more

Surprisingly great food. Had driven by many times and never even noticed it. My son and grandson were in Utah from Colorado for a volleyball tournament and found a recommendation somewhere on the World Wide Web. I've been wanting to try this place for a while and I'm so glad we finally made it happen!! We arrived before the dinner rush and put our order in. Our food came out super fast and everything we ordered was correct and delicious. I always go super basic the first time I try a new restaurant. I can happily report that the crust is fluffy (yet also still crispy on the edges) and the red sauce is delicious and flavorful. The garlic bread was yummy and the different dipping sauces were fun to try. If you like spicy, you must try the "Firebird" sauce. Later I came back and tried the spaghetti. Not a fan. Sauce lacks any personality, spice or taste, but hey this is Utah where people have uncultered taste buds of blandness. Now I normally live by the rule "don't order salads at pizza places" (I find they are mostly an afterthought) but I was pleasantly surprised with their bbq chicken salad. I loved that they were generous with the toppings. If anything, I'd probably ask them to be light with the bbq sauce next time. First time at this local family eatery. Ordering online was easy and we used curb side pick up. Friendly staff, fast and hot pizza. We ordered gluten free lemon pesto, excellent thin crust but could use more flavor, no lemon detectable. Somehow I expected servers instead of fast casual. It doesn't change the review, but it explains some of the shortcuts on the food. The sauce is very sweet, even by national chain restaurant standards. It also has to do double and triple duty. It tastes like it's the same sauce in the spaghetti. Certainly the spaghetti tastes like it has pizza sauce rather than a sauce I'd want on spaghetti. It is only a little over boiled and soft. That's good. I still wouldn't order it again. The pizza seems to use the same ingredients out of a bucket you see in the "mis en place" at Papa Murphys or other standard pizza places. Yes, it's really quick and easy to grab a handful of each ingredient and already shredded cheese. Voila, generic pizza. Its one saving grace is they cook it well. Nothing wrong with the food, but I don't understand so many high ratings. I suppose it's the near lack of competition in PG. read more
