    Pepperoni calzone
    Amy M.

We stopped in here first a quick bite to eat. It's a somewhat small location, but appeared to be very busy. I ordered a pepperoni calzone. It was alright, but not overly amazing. My husband ordered a small chicken artichoke pizza. He said it was pretty good and liked the crust. Service was meh, we had to wait while for the cashier to get a phone order in before we could order our meal, and again for our order. ' They use the chanciest plastic fork known to all mankind. So don't try to eat with a fork if you can.

I love Firebird! We came and dined inside. It was packed but the service was quick and the pizza was delicious! Old town road has so much flavor from the jalapeños! I also love their cheese sticks and the firebird sauce. Firebird is a go-to for us!

I don't usually leave mediocre reviews but i felt like the prices here warranted one. I got the smallest size meat lovers pizza and a small cheesy bread. The pizza was good and the bread was good as well, I did find it barely warm and cold by the time i got home. The reason for the bad review is because of prices - my small pizza was a little over $14. I thought that wouldn't be too bad since sometimes small pizzas at places like this are still pretty large, but this pizza was definitely small. It's about the same size as the cheesy bread, as shown in pictures. This made me pretty disappointed because the cheesy bread was almost $10 less, but the same size. It just isn't totally adding up to me, plus they didn't tell me the sauces were extra so the meal was not cheap. Probably won't be going back

This pizza is great and very tasty. We got a combo pizza as well as the all meat one. I'm a big pizza fan and firebird pizza was near the top of really good pizza. Give it a try, it won't disappoint!

Clean restaurant great customer service we went in right before the lunch special ended like literally 2 min before not knowing there were any specials and he still let us do it which is refreshing because most would say we were to late. Even though we still had 2 min! We appreciated that! The 2 gentlemen that helped us and brought the food out were nice and helpful with recommendations. We tried nearly everything but the wings, calzone and dessert, very good and made fast, Fresh to order. We were pleased with our first experience and will bring family back to try the rest of the menu they also have outdoor seating and plenty of room for larger parties

Great service, delicious food, and very family-friendly. This is our second time having their pizza and we weren't disappointed! The first time we got take out, the second time we dined in. Both experiences were great! I especially love their ranch dressing and house salad. We will definitely be coming back.

I had no idea about how good this place was/is! Highly recommended by friends and this place definitely delivered! Their pepperoni pizza, Hawaiian pizza, and the Feisty Firebird specialty pizza were all good. I do favor the garlic butter dipping sauce with all the pizzas! Also tried their pzookie (which I never knew they carried until another friend suggested it!) - it was also good! So lucky to know that this place is so close to home!

Great service great food. The pizza dough is awesome. I got the build your own calzone deal which is pretty good. I would pay extra for more protein toppings next time. Flavors were great and they were busy and the orders came out in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend.

I love the local feel and I'm excited to go back. It was my first time and it was tasty! The wedge salad was served before the calzones and it was nice to get a start to eating with salad! It was SO GOOD. I forgot to get a picture of the calzones before we cut into them. The flavoring on the crust was delightful! The service was sweet. Lastly, nothing is better than pizza with soda, apple beer was so yummy!

This is some of the best pizza I have ever had! The staff is amazing and the presentation is great. Prices are pretty good for what you get and they do accept coupons from the Starving Student card so I was able to get some great deals! 10/10 would reccomend!

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and I'm so glad we finally made it happen!! We arrived before the dinner rush and put our order in. Our food came out super fast and everything we ordered was correct and delicious. I always go super basic the first time I try a new restaurant. I can happily report that the crust is fluffy (yet also still crispy on the edges) and the red sauce is delicious and flavorful. The garlic bread was yummy and the different dipping sauces were fun to try. If you like spicy, you must try the "Firebird" sauce. Our girls loved the food they ordered (that's a sign on its own!!) and we will definitely be back to try more options!

Great tasting pizza and pasta. Ordered chicken Alfredo pasta. Needed a little salt but other than that, it was amazing. The cheese bread and pizza was epic.

The toppings were delicious and the house made ranch was good, but the crust left a lot to be desired, especially for the price.

Staff continued to work while we (party of 2) checked out the menu and immediately popped back over once we were ready without complaint. Order: Dozen cheese doodles with ranch - So good! Fluffy, garlicky and good amount of cheese. Definitely glad we got a dozen. Alfredo pizza - the crust was soft/not burnt, evenly spread toppings. There was a couple red onion slices that were a bit too big for me, but that's not something that would stop me from ordering this pizza again. I probably would have liked a little bit more crispy crust as well. All meat calzone - filled to the brim and served with ranch. So good! I hate when calzone are more dough then filling and this did not have that problem. Pretty clean dining area, small crumbs here and there. Our table didn't have a napkin holder so I took it from another table. It was pretty empty so we didn't take it from another patron's table. Refillable sodas - Coke products. They also have Farr ice cream here. To go boxes available on the side so you don't have to stop a staff member to ask for one. Definitely will be back!

The cashier recommended the chicken bacon ranch pizza so I added some balsamic to it. My husband got a crustless option, a protein bowl. The flavor of my pizza was yummy, but the best part was the crust was very soft and fluffy. I really like how they had a ton of options, like protein bowls and cauliflower crust. The breadsticks rolls were nothing special, description said it has cheese and garlic in it but I barely tasted it. they were yummy but bland. The restaurant is very clean and is very modern. I liked the color and style of it. The pizza came quick, no complaints about the service. Overall it didn't blow me out of the water but there was nothing wrong with my experience so I will give it a 4.

The bread twists are what to come for in my opinion everything else we tried was meh. Likely won't be back unless for the lunch specials because that is where you'll save a lot of money! Way better deals. Some negatives would be the price for the soda, nearly $4 each not worth it The Cajun chicken and shrimp pasta was BEYOND greasy (see photo) and it had a ton of seasoning on it, to the point where the pasta tasted a little grainy due to the over seasoning. The cheese pizza was fine, my toddler would eat the kids pepperoni pizza but loved the bread twists. Again that's what you come for. Also salad bar is an added price on nearly everything so don't expect that you get one trip for free. We likely won't come back for dinner.

I'm honestly very disappointed with the Papa Murphy's location in Pleasant Grove, Utah, located in…read morethe Macy's shopping center. This review is mainly about how I was assisted when I called the store and also about an unnecessary change Papa Murphy's has made for customers. For years, Papa Murphy's included a paper with the pizza that clearly showed the cooking temperature and instructions for the different types of pizzas. You could simply look at the paper and find your pizza. Thin crust, original crust, XLNY, gluten free, and the other types all had their cooking instructions clearly listed. Now, for some reason, the instructions for the stuffed pizza are not included on that paper. Instead, customers are apparently expected to scan a QR code. So I called this Pleasant Grove location and asked a very simple question: What temperature do I cook my stuffed pizza at, and for how long? Instead of simply telling me the answer, I was told that I had to scan the QR code. Think about how ridiculous that is for a moment. You are selling people a pizza that they have to take home and cook themselves, yet you have made it harder for them to find out how to cook it. The information used to be right there on the paper. The paper still includes instructions for several other types of pizzas, but for the stuffed pizza, the customer now has to use a smartphone, know how to scan a QR code, and go through extra steps just to find the temperature and cooking time. What about elderly customers? What about someone who doesn't know how to use a QR code? What about someone who only has a basic phone? Or what about customers who simply shouldn't have to pull out their phone and go online just to find out how to cook a pizza they just purchased? And what really bothered me was that I actually called the store to get help. This should have taken a few seconds. Someone could have simply said, "Yes, the instructions aren't printed there anymore, but here's the temperature and cooking time." Instead, I was told to go scan a QR code. That is not good customer service. Papa Murphy's, you need to seriously reconsider this decision. You had a simple system that worked. Customers could look at one piece of paper and immediately know how to cook the pizza they purchased. Now you have removed information that was already there and replaced convenience with unnecessary technology. Not everything needs a QR code. Sometimes the better option is the one that actually makes life easier for the customer. Put the cooking instructions back on the paper for ALL of your pizzas, including the stuffed pizza. Don't make customers jump through extra steps just to cook the food they bought from you. This is something that should be simple, and Papa Murphy's has somehow managed to make it unnecessarily difficult. I hope the company and the Pleasant Grove location take this seriously because customers should not have to fight to get basic instructions on how to cook the pizza they just paid for.
