The burgers are great! I love a nice smash burger and these hit the spot. The staff was really nice and helpful as well.

Underwhelmed and disappointed. I like a good concession stand type hamburger but not for the price I paid. Everything in the photo was $28 before a tip. Even with today typical food prices that seemed like a lot considering the two small chicken tenders by themselves were $11! Felt quite over priced. I guess it is in the realm of "bar food" since it is a food truck on the back patio of a bar but it's so much betterrrrrr than any bar food I've had. This place has so much potential, but I really just can't get behind it. Let me note before i leave this not great review that I would love to support this place if they just changed a few things I love the concept of a cheaper Smashburger place where you can come in and just get a good burger. We've actually seen this pulled off in other states really well and Utah in my opinion has a lack of good simple smash burger places. But there was just nothing about this food that wowed me and for the price + wait time I can't recommend it. The meat was ok and smashed well, not enough cheese (covered about 1/3 of a patty), sauce is good but its basically big mac sauce, and the bun was very weak. Like i actually think it was a grandma sycamores bun from harmons across the parking lot. Completely untoasted, kinda stale, right out of the plastic bag type bun. Fries were also very interesting and seemed like they were from a frozen bag, had this weird texture in the middle that didn't feel like legit potato / something that had been cooked recently. The kicker was the restaurant was half full, they had probably 4 people back working the kitchen and 2 working registers, and the burger took 20+ minutes to come out. Smash patties cook in like a minute and a half so I have no idea what took so long. This place is all about eating a good old smashed burger. The rosemary burger with the rosemary sauce was delicious. Good bun, toppings and everything tastes so good together. The fries were good, nothing too special about them. Wife loves her cheeseburger with a side of tots and the rosemary sauce. We'll definitely come back to try other items in the menu. Not gonna lie, the smash burgers are decent, but it's a mini-food trailer on the side of a bar with like to two dirty tables in front of it with no shading. They shouldn't be charging $32 for 2 burgers and a side of fries. I could tell the guy working in there was slaving away on delivery orders and didn't want to deal with us. Definitely not the most welcoming experience. For the price, the lack of ambiance, and the lack of hospitality, I wouldn't recommend coming here for burgers. read more

Three stars for the price vs the quantity of food. You just can't fill up here on a burger and fries because the burger is simply too small. As far as flavor goes, the patty itself wasn't seasoned well but the amenities that were put on were amazing. Good crunch on the onions, plenty of pickles, it could have used more BBQ sauce on it so it was a little dry. The fries were great and hot. More fry sauce would have been helpful. All in all the burger itself was good but if I'm spending over $20 for a burger and fries then I want to leave full. Either increase the size of your burger or reduce your prices. read more

This is actually a food truck that is right next to a sports bar. This is quite a hidden gem. They offer smash type burgers, and I had the rosemary and garlic sauce burger. Loved the smash, burger consistency. The rosemary garlic sauce was amazing. I would buy this sauce if it was bottled, it's that good. Right now they're out of the seasoned fries and they have just plain fries which I actually prefer. The dipping sauce was their take on a frysauce. So good. If you're in the mood for a really good burger, I would strongly suggest this food truck. The employee working there was super nice. It was really cold so they brought the food out to my car, which I appreciated. I will definitely be back to this place. read more

It's attached to a bar, so going in with kids is impossible. It also makes it pretty hard to locate plugging it into your GPS. You can order outside, but they have one picnic table and it's hot outside. They don't serve drinks of any kind at the truck and you can't go into the bar and get some to bring out, even regular water or soda, because that's illegal in Utah County. That being said, this is the best burger I've had in Utah. It's smash style and they get an excellent crust on the patty and smashed extremely thin. I've tried some of their other burgers, but the one with the garlic rosemary sauce is AMAZING! I eat a lot of burgers at a lot of places, but this is the one. My only wish is that this place didn't depend on the bar so much. Don't get me wrong, I'll go in and have a beer and order food, but I can't take my kids, which is extremely prohibiting. Not having the ability to even get them water or a cool place to sit is a non starter. Even my elderly mom, who admits this is the best burger she's had in Utah doesn't really want to go there because of these limitations. read more

I live nearby and drive past the bar next to here multiple times a day. A few months ago I noticed the Saltys food truck there and realized it was somewhat of a permanent fixture that appears to be open daily. My wife and I have a goal this year to eat at every restaurant we haven't ate at in Lehi, so this one seemed like a good one to start with. We pulled up on a Wednesday night and walked over to the open window. It looks like they have two windows, one for people outside the bar and one for people inside. Their menu is online, and it has hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, tacos, grilled cheese, fries, tots, churros, and more. The "main" burgers are all double patties and if you want you can order them in a smaller size with a single patty for quite a bit less. I did the Sriracha Bacon burger and my wife did the Garlic Rosemary. We did a order of battered fries with it as well. The girl running the truck was really friendly and had great recommendations. We went and sat in our car for about 10 minutes while she prepared it and then took it home. The burgers were really good, but the fries and fry sauce were even better. This was a surprisingly good meal and we'll definitely pick this over any fast food burger in the area. It's nice to have something so close to home! read more

I got the BBQ burger and it was AMAZING! Huge smash burger that was juicy and delicious. Toppings and bun were awesome. Got tater tot's on the side and they were cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The OG sauce was good. Like a cross between fry sauce and tartar sauce. The only complaint is that it is pricey. I thought the tots would come with it but they were extra. We came here after a long weekend camping and were so excited. It's definitely got some good flavors and lots of burger options but it wasn't our favorite. The problem I had is I didn't feel like it was anything special that you couldn't get any where else. Even the bacon crumbs just tasted like a standard Costco package of bacon crumbs. We'd be back for sure, but wasn't everything we expected and hoped for. The service was good but not super memorable...would have just liked more interaction and help when choosing what to eat and which sauces for my daughter's meal instead of just getting a random one they gave us. Stopped on a whim because I was hungry and it was delicious. I had the rosemary garlic burger and I didn't get a lot of garlic from it but it was still yummy. The fries were hot and crispy and fluffy and the fry sauce was tasty. It was pricey but it was a big portion. It is a food truck, but you can eat at the tables on the patio of the bar it is parked up against. The gal running it was helpful and did a great job. we were suppost to go to our regular hamburger joint which is Mels in Mona but it was closed. We decided to go to another joint so we chose Saltys! The hamburgers are PHENOMENAL. The service was INSANELY QUICK. The OG sauce was AMAZING, and to top it off, the fries WILL NOT DISSAPOINT! The surroundings and the area is nice and calm. Its in a shade and its peaceful. Quite literally the perfect place to make it your hamburger hide out! I tried to take photos but I couldnt get myself to let go of the hambuger! This is the best smashburger style burger I've had in Utah, and probably the best you'll find under $20! I'm glad someone is finally embracing this style of burger here, they are definitely few and far between. My only suggestions would be to toast the bun and cook the fries a bit longer so they're crispy (but that's really just personal preference), so we'll probably request that next time.
