I promised I wouldn't write another review, but you all have been shouting "encore" for some time so I'll indulge you. Just this once. First time here. The place looked like Tom and Chee but the signage suggested pizza. I arrived at the counter, wife by my side and found a gal with glassless glasses, eyes glazed over. Smooth order taker. Next gal started the sauce process. She was clearly new but clearly cared. The next gal finished the toppings with the focus of a wartime radio operator. I spoke. She topped. Grabbed a 90 cal beer and sat down. A few minutes later, our wood fired pizzas were ready. I was shocked to find my taste buds were highfiving and celebrating the meat lovers pie with spinach and red peppers. Truly, I hadn't felt this good about a pizza in some time. Sadly the employees weren't very nice :( I love blaze pizza. When I walked into the store, the 3 employees stared back and forth at one another for almost a minute before one finally stepped up and took my order. When I asked for mozzarella he said I already had it and rolled his eyes. The pizza was delicious and the workers were nice and gave me a sample of the sauces so I could decide which one I wanted. Very cool place where you can create your own pizza. I wish they had more parmesan shakers, because it was so busy that we missed out on having one because there wasn't enough for everyone in the building. This use to be one of my favorite places to eat lunch downtown. However the service now is the SLOWEST, we have already been here 30 minutes and still don't have our food. The woman cutting pizzas continually told the guy firing pizzas to stop cooking them so she could get caught up yet she had three pizzas to cut and there were about 20 to be cooked and another 25 people in line and they have been waiting longer than we did. read more

Just had lunch there today. I'm a NYC Little Italy paisono, and have been eatin' pizza since it was called "pizza pie", always had anchovies unless you asked for "no fishies", cost 15 cents a slice after school, and was unknown of west of the Hudson River (well, maybe in Chicago, I dunno). This was seriously fine pizza, modern fusion cuisine style! The veggies were fresh, crisp, and tasty, the topping selections were all excellent and fresh and much better than the usual slightly dried out greasy pepperoni, and a wider selection than usual (smoked ham...not quite a panchetta, but tasty indeed. Kudos go to the efficient, helpful and friendly staff, who were eager to help. welcoming to an old guy in a funny cap, and really seemed to enjoy being on the crew together, and gave the place a gemutlicheit. Horrible QC/QA on delivery orders. Gave this pizza restaurant many opportunities to prove me wrong but in the end they simply just blame it on DoorDash and make excuses of why orders aren't going out correctly. I always order direct through the restaurant website and have had cold food, wrong food, food missing, or orders that take well over an hour to show up. I keep trying to give this place a chance and continue to be disappointed. For the 3rd time I have received a basically plain pizza with none of the topping that the pizza was supposed to come with, let alone the additional toppings I added. The way their phones are set up you can't call and talk to anyone, in fact it disconnects you. I tried to contact them on their website and their email response was that "During your next visit, please feel free to ask the team members for more toppings." I love your staff at Blaze in downtown Lincoln. A very rude customer spent 10 minutes complaining about his order even though it wasn't their fault. They even offered him a free pizza for his trouble but he complained even more and wanted more. The staff handled the whole situation gracefully. I've been to this place one or two times before COVID devastated all of us and the service was pleasant, me and my group of friends had fun whenever we went there but yesterday on the 11th of October 2020, an hour before the establishment was supposed to close, we got told that their manager walked out on them and that they had to close down the restaurant. Customers in front of us got their service yet we got told we couldn't. I'm doing Keto and I was overjoyed to find a keto pizza at Blaze. The crust was good, not great compared to regular crust, but didn't take away from the flavor. The flavor was excellent. The sauce was a little sassy (in a good way) and the toppings delicious. I just wish the pizza was warmer! I ordered curbside...and parking was hard to find. They were out of bottled Diet Coke and brought two empty fountain cups. They gave me the option of going inside and filling my own drink. This is a little strange considering I ordered curbside so that I would not have to go inside. Thankfully they went and brought me my fountain drinks. We have visited many Blaze Pizzas at home in Florida. After leaving the Lincoln Children's Museum, we wanted something fast to eat and we know the Blaze Brand. The line cooks went really light on the toppings, even after we asked for more as well as put them on uneven. The Blaze we usually visit at Disney Springs in Orlando does not have that issue with the toppings. We picked up our food and as we only have about three slices left of our three pies, water starts to drip on the arm of my 3 yr old son. I put my hand up to catch it and the drips keep coming faster. I pushed him in his booster seat to the far side of the booth and it's a good thing he did not have a slice in front of him or it would have dropped all over his pie. I went to the counter to let them know and the shift lead Sabrina's response was, " Oh we know. That happens sometimes." She then went back to talking to her co-worker. I go back to my table and let my family know and while we are discussing the lack of customer service, the African-American woman she was taking to, I did not get her name, came up to us to explain that the air conditioner does that when it gets really hot outside and that the management team knows. She apologizes for the situation saying that usually to recover from that they would just ask us to move to another table. As Sabrina sees her speaking to us, she comes over and the other lady walks away. Sabrina in forms is, again, that management know about it and have called for it to be repaired a few times already. My wife asked why don't they just put a sign up warning people they may get dripped on. Sabrina replied with, "well, we can't just close the table. Normally we would just ask you to move and take care of it then, but since you're already just about done..." The clear implication that we were not worth the service recovery since we were almost finished with our meal. My wife asked her if she was a manager to which Sabrina replied that she was a shift lead. My wife said, "thank you Sabrina, we have enough." Sabrina responded with, "Well no need to get rude!" She then stormed off in a huff back to the counter. We were still in the store for a further five minutes cleaning up my son and taking him to the bathroom; we were never approached by a store manager and Sabrina ignored and avoided us the rest of the time. This type of service is not what I expect from the Blaze Brand. While I will still continue to visit the Blazes around UCF and Disney when I am home, I will never visit this establishment again while visiting family. read more
